- Christian (9/5): Great place to stay - Great location and peaceful hideaway Nothing
- Julie (8/5): Great location, character and value for money. - Great central location and character. Excellent value for money. The bed was on a platform and in a recess in the room so the only way to access it was from the end of the bed. Not so convenient if you need to get up in the middle of the night. Also, snacks would have been handy along with the pm drinks.

- Landes (8/5): Fantastic staff! Fine location. Nice hang out area. But bring a mattress topper. - I loved the staff the best. The environment is delightful. As has been typical in our Thai accommodations the bed was rock hard and the pillows are hard.

- Fergus (10/5): Beautiful place to stay in Chiang Mai - This is one of the best places we’ve stayed in SE Asia. We came here after a rough stay in a different guest house and it was dreamy. The staff are lovely, beautiful garden to sit in and comfortable, clean rooms.
- Claire (10/5): Wonderful little gem of a hideaway guesthouse! - Beautiful little guesthouse (with a great wine list!) Incredible staff and so friendly. Great location, sometimes a little noisy in the front rooms but they kindly give you ear plugs, not that we used them! Amazing breakfasts included in the rate!!! Just a suggestion that the management could train their staff on how to open a wine bottle :) plus red wines don’t need an ice bucket! Being a caterer it’s just a thought!
- Charles (8/5): - Staff were lovely and helpful, room was a great size, bathrooms were great, and hotel is in an ideal location for exploring the old town and South. Location was slightly noisy at times, perhaps just my room that caught the worst of scooters in the morning.
- Ashish (8/5): Great Boutique type hotel with large rooms and a lovely courtyard. - Location , Breakfast and the Vibe of the property. The staff were great inspite of communicating in English being a challenge. We managed thats the most important thing. Nothing.

- Caroline (5/5): - Location, terrasse, staff, big room The shower température was irregular
- Tony (9/5): Simple and comfortable hotel in great location with wonderful staff. - Great location in quiet street but so close to shops and market. Breakfast was excellent and served with a beautiful smile every day. Lovely courtyard and sitting area in front of property. Small number of rooms means a quiet and calm environment and a feeling of personal attention.
- Anahit (7/5): - The hotel itself was good — the location was good, and the atmosphere both in the hotel and in the room was interesting and pleasant. We stayed in room N32, but unfortunately, for all three days of our stay, we were unable to connect to the internet.
We informed the staff multiple times about this issue. One staff member said it would be fixed the next day, another mentioned that a specialist had been called but was busy, and another even asked why we needed internet and suggested we go to the lobby to use it there. Because of this, we ended up using all of our eSIM mobile data.
Due to the internet issue, I would rate the stay a 7. At the very least, the hotel could have offered to change our room, provided some form of compensation, or been honest and said the issue could not be resolved, instead of giving us false hope. On the last day, no one even followed up to ask whether the problem had been fixed.
- Hanna (10/5): - Piękny hotel, obsługa bardzo miła i pomocna.

- Albert (10/5): Great room for the price in a central location. staff is amazingly kind. - very central location on a quiet street. staff is amazing. relaxing courtyard. room is big. bed is pretty good. had warm water too so bonus there. street food 2 minutes away. anywhere else you would want to go is 2-10 minutes way to include the night bizzare.
- Pattama (6/5): Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Pricey and noisy. - The location is great — close to the Wua Lai walking street and there is a morning fresh market near by. Simple and basic accommodation yet clean. Staff were lovely and willing to go above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. It is on a pricier side. It is either the property location itself or the location of my room — it was very noisy at night and early morning and made it hard to have a restful sleep.
- Isabella (9/5): Was great. Loved it - The atmosphere and beer garden. Bed was a bit firm (which is a personal preference)
- asami (8/5): -
- Stephen (9/5): Excellent - Relaxed friendly atmosphere and willing to help Bed was a bit hard, could do with a mattress topper
- Stefan (9/5): Klasse, ich würde wiederkommen. - Sehr gut gelegen. Freundliches Personal und sehr sauber.

- Hanna (8/5): Kleines Hotel in Holzhaus in bester Lage - Super Lage, tolle Stimmung, viele junge Gäste, keine Partygäste, tolles Holzhaus Zimmer zur Straße hin etwas lauter; nach hinten raus total leise; harte Betten aber für einen kurzen Aufenthalt ok
- Abbie (8/5): Lovely little hotel with friendly staff. - Beautiful hotel and staff really friendly and helpful. Allowed us to check in early without fee No lift so if you have heavy bags it is a set of stairs.
Bedroom not soundproof at all so can hear people sat outside the room.
- Shafer (10/5): Great place to stay awesome staff - Great staff, beautiful hotel, great location
- Peter Warwick Bruce (10/5): - Quaint boutique hotel with a beautiful, tropical setting.
The main staff member Pop was an absolute delight.
Nice wine available.
Just around the corner from the markets and street food so felt very safe at night. Noting.
- Shafer (10/5): 10000% would recommend - Great place to stay, beautiful property, great location, great staff
- Gavin (10/5): Peaceful friendly place to stay in the Old Town - The location is very convenient and central. Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfast options are fantastic and the food quality is of a high standard.
- Christopher (8/5): -
- TUGWELL (8/5): Great little hotel to discover Chiang mai - Fantastic location to experience Chiang mai, very pretty hotel and the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Unfortunately we had no hot water for the 3 days we stayed and the room was very bright at night.
- Virginia (9/5): - Great outdoor space, room was clean, breakfast was great! lots of mosquitos outside
- Sandrine (7/5): - Bonne localisation mais assez bruyant
- Nico (9/5): -
- Magness (8/5): - Nice cosy hotel, not many rooms No swimming pool but not a deal breaker
- Jie (9/5): Overall nice ka - Very good location and very friendly staff! Love the garden and view from the room! The toilet is a bit old and yellow stains - as too long time - cannot be removed
- XITING (10/5): - This is the best hotel in Chiangmai
The lady at the front desk is very warm and cute
Their small courtyard is very beautiful. You can rest anywhere and the staff will turn on the fan for you.
The room is in the style of northern Thailand, very beautiful
Breakfast is also very good
It is only a 5-minute walk from Chiang Mai Gate Night Market
I highly recommend everyone to stay in this hotel when visiting Chiang Mai

- Strobbe (8/5): -
- Elena (9/5): - Una piccola struttura davvero graziosa, tutta in legno.
- Mathilde (9/5): -
- Bethany (8/5): Really lovely place to stay. - Really good location to explore old town! The room was big and comfortable. The breakfast was lovely ☺️
- Florian (10/5): -
- Tina (10/5): -
- Danil (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nonglak (9/5): Perfect 💕 - Nice location
- Moe (10/5): - The service was excellent!
- Yan (10/5): Exceptional - The courtyard garden is charming and the vibe is chill. The location is convenient , a short walk to the main road night market . The staff is super nice and kind.
- Diana (10/5): We felt really lucky that we landed in this guest house. PERFECT! - Location was great, a good balance between more touristy areas and the markets- close to everything. Staff were all lovely. 'Popcorn ' a real favourite! Thank you for everything.
Absolutely loved the character of the guesthouse; the use of wood, murals, subtle lighting, water features. 'Chaa Daeng' made us feel completely at home. The breakfasts were a little ordinary- however markets and shops were just a few feet away.
'P.J coffee and food', 2 doors up was a favourite.
- Mihail (9/5): Neat, charming, cute, basic & spacious - good value for money but noisy at night - The place is well kept, small details all around give a home-like feeling and charm to the rather rudimentary but spacious rooms. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, puts guests in the centre and gives their absolute best to make one feel comfortable. Location is ok to walk to some of the temples around.
The only downside for me was the wild life outside, which is loud at night. The windows of the room offer zero noise reduction against it which makes sleeping more or less an impossible mission without ear plugs. For the record I am a heavy sleeper unlike my wife, who gets easily woken up by noises. Both of us couldn’t really sleep the first night. During the day it’s calm and quiet.
- Stephanie (8/5): Great location and beautiful shared space. - The public space and included breakfast were great. Rooms are small but clean and have everything you need. Staff was friendly and the location was perfect. Rooms are a bit older, but still very well maintained.
- Rachel (7/5): Good -
- Ralph (10/5): I would recommend staying here. Good value and friendly staff - Great location, great staff, and very nice surroundings in the lobby area. Also a nice breakfast.
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Camaddo (9/5): A beautiful ambience, comfortable stay and gracious staff! - I like the ambience and the general feel of wood, it was cool and pleasant and the smiles of the staff made my stay worthwhile too. There was coffee and drinks available though on the fover and not inside the room.
- Omar (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gartner (5/5): Be weary at checkout - The property is in a great location and accommodations were comfortable. Issue came when we were checking out so be mindful. unnecessary and excessive laundry charge - The issue is not just the charge itself but the unprofessional, rude, and downright threatening manner in which the situation was handled by the staff.
This situation stemmed from a bath mat and hand towels with makeup and sunless tanner on them (both of which are washable).
The staff claimed that the linens items could only be washed by hand—which seems entirely unlikely—and, when we offered to rinse them ourselves, they insisted that the linens must be sent out for cleaning—at a cost greater than our one-night stay.
Having been in the hospitality industry for over 20 years, I find it astonishing that a hotel would claim to hand wash towels and linens, and even more troubling that guests would be treated in such a rude and disrespectful manner.
- Charles (9/5): very nice place in a very traditional, old thai setting - The breakfast was very good, and the staff were extraordinarily helpful and friendly. The platform bed was a bit difficult to enter and exit
- Kerrie (10/5): Wonderful guesthouse. Delightful staff, spacious rooms and great location. - The staff were so lovely. Room spacious, breakfast great and locations super. Nothing. All was great.
- Shannen (5/5): Passable - The three girls on reception were incredible and we thank them for all their help.
Breakfast was super tasty and they made us a box to take on tours which was great and really yummy. It’s such a shame our overall experience here was tainted because of something so minor.
The hotel offer white towels to guests in their room and ours after a long day got a bit dirty. The hotel tried to charge us £40 even though they were ripped… to replace them which we refused. In a show of manipulation the manager made the staff pay for them (I did pay half as a show of good will as the towels absolutely weren’t dirty after bleaching)
If you do not want to cover the costs of maintaining a hotel, do not provide guests with white sheets and towels as they will get dirty. Shame on the manager for this!!!! Wouldn’t recommend based on being fleeced for money.
- Christopher (10/5): Blissful stay in Chiang Mai heritage hotel - Kind and welcoming staff who went above and beyond to make my stay very enjoyable. Lovely patio area, comfy rooms and a delicious breakfast.
- Margaret (5/5): Staff were really lovely outside area was very nice. Busy road and noise was terrible in front rooms - Breakfast was very nice and the staff were exceptional. Location was close to Market and Restuarants. Garden area was lovely. Room was very noisey we were at the front and you never got any sleep until about 3 in morning. Water wasn’t hot enough for shower
- Sunisa (10/5): - Staff very friendly. Property was not the modern accommodations. This is more traditional Thai style which was a welcome change.
- Tirapol (9/5): Quite location, walking distance to market, shopping, and historical landmark - Great location, walking distance to temples and the massive Sunday Night Market
- Kishani (8/5): Overall - decent place, clean, basic with warm and efficient service - A good , clean, basic place. Particularly liked - warm, friendly, efficient staff; chill vibes in common areas , spacious room ( we stayed in junior ‘suite’).
A visit to ‘Faces’ opposite Pak is a must - gorgeous surroundings and vibes. Like being in a refined version of the ‘Jungle Book’! Didn’t like - noisy room ( street noise through night/ early morning) , variable hot water ( particularly cold in mornings) and hard bed.
- Julie (9/5): Amazing hotel in a great location - Stunning hotel in a great quite location We had some trouble getting in early after our night journey so would advise really coordinating well with the staff to make sure you can get in okay. Otherwise staff was great!
