Hak (8/5): - Spacious and airy guest room. Remarkable in-room amenities (fridge, freezer!, dishwasher, cook top, washer-dryer)- though redundant for me since mine was only an overnight stay. Very friendly and helpful checking-in and checking-out. Large, heated, indoor lap pool and jacuzzi. Convenient location to Sydney Airport - very walkable if you have the correct direction. Lack of a curtain or partition between (a fairly good ) shower and rest of bathroom. Lack of a free airport shuttle. On-site restaurant- steep prices relative to the portions served. For example- my laksa noodle bowl came with exactly 2 small shrimps, a single small scallop, 2 small cubes of fish, and a whole lot of liquid.
Vxchic (2/5): - Lovely restaurant with friendly staff. Great location if travelling and need a stop over hotel. Booked a Studio Suite and was given an Accessible Room, which we did not need. Room was grubby and dusty, pillows had odour and there was a stain on carpet that had a foul odour. Did not sleep due to location of room next to stairs well and major air con units. Compressor noise from air conditioning was incredibly loud. I approached reception to see if we could re locate as hotel was not busy and staff were less than helpful and really didn't give a .... ! Even noise cancelling headphones did not drown out noise.

Airport shuttle driver was eating something like sunflower seeds at 4:30 am made for an uncomfortable trip with no music and the sound of wet crunching. Almost went insane in the short ten minute trip.

Julie (3/5): Won’t be back - Location is great for catching a flight I booked a studio suite because we have stayed there before and loved it but when we arrived they said there was a issue with the studio and have given us a 1 bedroom apartment instead making out it was an up grade. Very wrong firstly we couldn’t actually get into our room as the key wouldn’t work so staff had to come and let us in then our room was on the other side of the motel right next to the railway tracks and main road so not much sleep before our long flight the next day. Won’t be booking again.

Peter (8/5): The hotel is good, once you get there, but the transfer makes it a questionable experience - The airport shuttle transfer was dreadful. It is outsourced to “Sydney SuperShuttle”and there is nothing ‘super’ about it. The pickup from the airport both times we used it were erratic and late, the bay was dingy and poorly signed, and the whole operation disorganised and chaotic. Staff were curt and passengers were treated more like freight than guests. Unless you are down to your last $20, I would take a taxi.

Check-in and check-out were not straightforward. We waited until 4pm to check in. At check out the receptionist couldn’t find our account and kept asking me about the no of our party (4, not 5) and how old our baby was! Eventually we left as our taxi was waiting.

Meryl (9/5): We enjoyed our stay, it met our needs well. We would certainly stay there again when we visit Sydney - The room was very comfortable, particularly the bed. We had all the amenities we needed and everything was clean. The staff in particular were helpful and seemed genuinely concerned about our needs. When we arrived we were very tired and the reception staff member commented on this and said that she would fast track the formalities.

Jenni (9/5): Exceeded my expectations and look forward to staying again! - It was my first stay at The Branksome. I will be returning! The hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff were helpful. The shuttle to/from the airport was convenient. The amenities (restaurant, rooftop bar, pool etc) were very good and my room was a very well-appointed studio There was nothing I didn't like.
ahsany2026 (6/5): Great Service, But Aircraft Noise Affects Stay - Thank you for the service . The staff were very kind and provided great service, which I truly appreciate. However, I was placed on the backside of the hotel, which initially seemed ideal as it avoided road traffic noise. Unfortunately, due to the hotel’s proximity to the airport, aircraft noise was quite noticeable. Planes were flying directly overhead, and the noise came through the windows frequently—from around 6:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. I understand that this is not something the hotel can control, and it is actually very convenient for guests who need quick access to the airport, especially for early flights or short business stays. That said, for leisure or relaxation purposes, this location may not be the best choice due to the aircraft noise. From my perspective, if I were travelling for leisure again, I would likely choose a different area rather than Mascot. Overall, I appreciate the hospitality and service. If I had an early flight, I would definitely consider staying again. Otherwise, for a relaxing trip, I would explore other options. Thank you again for your service. Ahsan Booking ID: 1989417004

Norman (10/5): Absolutely ideal for our requirements, excellent. - Adjacent to international airport, our suite had a view of the runway but aircraft noise was not an issue. Rooftop bar great, restaurant superb, underground parking secure and safe. No negative comments at all.

They said was a private balcony but it wasn't I could see my neighbours balcony..Plus they charged $300.00 for deposit for 3 nights other Hotels or service apartments only charged me between $1.00-$100 for 3 nights, even if you get the money back it's still too much in my opinion.
PuiFong (8/5): - Pool and late check out No hand-wash in bathroom, it wasnt refilled. Under the coffee table was dirty, so not vacuumed properly, only 2 forks instead of 4 or 5, no extra towels when they bought the rollaway bed to the room

Korine (8/5): The entite suite was very large, nice and clean! It also had a large patio that incuded a table and four chairs, an outd - It was very well decorated, both inside and outside and very clean. Their restaurant had excellent food!!! We had a lock-out room and unfortunately needed to call the front desk to have someone come in and unlock it and the adjoining bathroom. It was done pretty quickly, however, as we initially booked the two rooms, felt it shouldn’t have been necessary to deal with. There was also an electronic window blind that was stuck. We called to have it repaired and someone looked at it but needed the maintenance manager who was gone for the day. We decided to look at it closer via a chair and were able to get it moving again, although it didn’t mirror the movement on the other window. We advised management we had partially repaired it and to not have the maintenance manager come in that evening as we were set for the night with the blinds closed. We did ask them to have maintenance fully repair it after we checked out the following day.
