• Bat Hen (8/5): מקום נהדר מומלץ - מקום חמוד מטופח מייק דאג לנו לעל שבקשנו בחדר ששהינו היה הכל גדול ומרווח המטבחון לא היה כל עך מוצלח והשרותים שהיו צמודים אליו. בעית מים חמים שהיתה לנו במוצש אבל מייק המדהים באמת דאג שיהיה לנו תיקון לבעיה.
• Ilia (8/5): Useful option to stay couple of days in Jerusalem - This is a building with several rooms on several levels with a shared kitchen. There is free parking near the building, but it is a busy neighborhood with many cars and sometimes it is difficult to find a free parking space. The room was nice and clean with all the necessary things. The kitchen fully equipped although there is only a fridge, microwave and water bar. Owners provide milk for coffee. Many books are everywhere. Nice yard with sofas and pergola outside. Nothing to say overall. Some oven (not microwave) in the kitchen may be useful.

• Galit (10/5): נהנינו מאד וממליצות בחום - מקום מקסים, מאובזר ומפנק. הגעתי עם בתי ללילה בירושלים והאווירה בבית של מייק כל כך נעימה, חמימה ומכוונת לאורחים. המטבחון מאובזר במיני פינוקים חלב וקפה וכל מה שצריך לפתוח בוקר בכיף. המיטות נוחות, העיצוב משגע, המקלחת אליפות ובקיצור חוויה מיוחדת ונעימה מאד. ברחוב חניה בחינם בשפע, ותחב״צ לכל מקום במרחק הליכה קצר. נחזור שוב בלילה הייתה אזעקה ולא היה לנו מושג לאן להתפנות, אז ישבנו במדרגות. היה נחמד אם היו הוראות הכוונה למקלע הקרוב.

Comfortable place to sleep, nice warm shower, a refrigerator for our food and several really nice places to sit and eat that food, a neighborhood where we can walk to some places or take a bus or taxi to other places, and a parking lot nearby!

• Brenda (10/5): I enjoyed it very much. Peaceful and friendly. Would recommend it to my friends - The breakfast was minimal but adequate. Plenty of hot and cold drinks available. Enough fridges to store own food. The seating areas very comfortable. I loved The dead sea toiletries and nothing was too much trouble for Mike when I met him and on WhatsApp. Thank you Mike. On arrival being an elderly lady, but in good health and strength, found the stairs difficult to manage with a heavy case on my own. The hot water in the flask upstairs was not replaced so had to go down in the mornings and evenings.

• Galhb (9/5): Superb - the communication with the owner was great. we entered from the back and didn't see there's a shared very equiped kitchen. we asked the owner on WhatsApp for some kitchen related things and they brought it straight to our room, didn't even mention we can just go and take.. so that was really nice. In the morning we saw there was a cute yard, the kids liked it. all in all, we a good stay :) -
• Aleksandra (10/5): Exceptional - Nice and quiet neighbourhood, a little far from the city centre. Clean, nice rooms. Mike was great and helpful. There were also fridge and free tea/coffee with cookies.
• Bubby (10/5): Am suggesting Mike's House to others. - Very pleased that there was a small personal refrigerator. Very quiet. Strong shower and clean bathroom. I liked the self service drinks fridge. You show tremendous trust when you leave a cup for payment. Means you trust that the drink will be paid for and that no one will take the cash that was paid! Kol Hakavod I couldn't get the TV working. Mike responded quickly to my request for help. He walked me through it but still no luck. The WIFI was strong enough so we happily watched a movie on our laptop. Mike said he would take care of it immediately. Just a recommendation: have a page printed with instructions as how to use the TV/Netflixs. Not everyone is familiar with how to work this media system.

Not only did he let us stay way after checkout time (due to unexpected reasons specific for the time and circumstances of our stay) but he also took care of my hunger while I was working downstairs and was not able to get food myself. • Maxime (10/5): The best place in the area, the best mindset in this part of the galaxy - It was fantastic. Mike is a wonderful person who takes care of everything. He manages the house perfectly, which is of unmatched charm and comfort in the area, and even in the world! I adore his perspective on things and his way of doing things, it's extremely pleasant and friendly. It feels like being in a small community. There is nothing unpleasant about this hotel. Everything has been thoughtfully done and adapted to offer us the best experience. I love this concept and it should be more widely extended with genuine empathy and kindness for all guests.
• George (10/5): Very comfortable stay. - Mike welcomed us graciously and helped carry our luggage to our room. We had a spacious, perfectly clean suite. The beds were ideal: firm and comfortable. I woke up feeling quite refreshed. Found free street parking right across the street from the entrance. In summary, better value than a hotel.

He even upgraded my room and arranged for my airport transport. The room and the entire home was super clean (and I have high standards!). Mike's check-in directions were very easy to follow and the entire experience was very easy and smooth. The location was perfect for me and Mike was very responsive to all my questions pre and post booking. I came with more luggage than the usual solo-traveler. The room didn't have much room for my extra bags - but I knew that would be an issue going in so I expected it, so no complaints on my end. Just a heads up for those who come with lots of luggage.

Clean,enjoyed the little garden sitting under the sun in the morning.No lot of people, feel free to privacy. Feels like I’m home. I like everything what’s in there.. I’m just a simple person know how to appreciate things weather big or small.
• Ken (9/5): Very nice. - At first Mike was unable to be contacted except by WhatsApp, and I began to wonder whether or not he was even in Israel. But on the 3rd day I met him at the House. We hit it off immediately - I love this guy. When I first saw him he was on his knees scrubbing floors, and changing sheets on beds, because the Oct 7 war had resulted in most of his rooms being empty, wherefore he had to save money on the cleaning by doing it himself. I greatly admired him for that bit of humility, and I offered to help him (he refused). After I saw the attention he paid to the floors, I stopped worrying about them, and walked around my room barefoot after that, without concerns or worries. This is not luxury housing, but this is what you'll get for $700. Want luxury? Go to the Waldorf Astoria and pay $3000. At first, the biggest problem was that I couldn't get the door locks to work. That turned out to be because they were all types of locks I had never encountered in my home country, the United States. Once I figured out how they work, that problem was solved. But it was very disconcerting on my first day, when I arrived and I couldn't get in! The only other problem was the mini-refrigerator. Each room had one, and they were all lined up together in the hall. The size was adequate, but for some reason everything tended to get wet inside, so you'd take something out and a few drops of water might be dripping onto you shoes. I suspect this is merely an adjustment of some sort, which can be corrected. But who has time for such things?
