The bed was surprising comfortable and with the floor with warm heating makes waking up bearable in the cold winter morning. The massage armchair was great after walking throughout the day. The host prepare delicious toast, boiled eggs, traditional rice cakes and fruits together with hot tea. Thanks. Nil
- Ana (10/5): A beautiful place in a perfect location with a warm and helpful host. - This was a large, beautiful and well-equipped room, toasty warm with its ondol heating (essential, since it was the middle of winter), and we slept very well on the Korean-style duvets on the floor. The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful, and directed us to tourist information, where she told us there were free guided tours available (we did indeed go on one, thanks to her advice!). She even arranged a free luggage pickup for our suitcases to the train station on the day of departure, and called a taxi for us. The traditional breakfast was filling, varied, interesting and very lovingly, beautifully prepared. The location in the heart of one of the prettier streets of the hanok village was perfect. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!
- PJ (10/5): A beautiful stay, a real highlight of our Korea trip - Our stay was beautiful and relaxing, at 3-bedroom detached house, with our family of four (including 2 teenagers). The Hanok hosts, Sarah and her husband are so kind. We slept very well on futons, heated floors in the middle of winter. She gave us a delicious breakfast each morning and lots of tea. On our last morning we had to leave early and she packed us breakfast to go! Jeonju Hanok Village had beautiful cafes and eateries, locals certainly know how to make everything look and feel lovely. So, so cosy. It was definitely a change of pace, lanes and side streets of handmade shops, local street foods. Plus lots of walking trails with incredible views. A very restful stay and we were fortunate to experience snow. The Hanok rooms had a fridge, plus a communal tea room with kettle and microwave. There are also nearby convenience stores, more restaurants outside the Hanok Village and Jeonju is only a short cab away. Everyone was very friendly, a highlight of our trip to Korea. De wc raakte 2x verstopt. Douchekop zit te laag en zit vast. Wc wordt nat tijden het douchen. Ophanging gordijn rails afgebroken. Enkele kapotte plekken bij de lampen. Wat schimmelplekken in de badkamer.

- Iffat (10/5): - This marvelous hanok house is located right in the middle of all the Jeonju action. It looked and felt exactly like the pictures. The host Sara was so wonderful and helpful showing us all the possible ways to enjoy this place. She was so caring to my picky children's breakfast needs and clearly got 5 stars from them. This type of interaction is what makes me choose private hosts instead of boring typical tourist hotels. This house is a lesson of history itself. The construction, the sleeping style, and meals on a floor table and chairs. When I sipped my tea in the morning sitting on the porch listening to the birds and watching raindrops falling from the hanok's beautifully tiled roofs, I was transported to the peaceful machine free life of hundreds of years before. Thanks so much for this wonderful experience!

- Laura (10/5): Excellent guesthouse with welcoming hosts! - Perfect little hanok guesthouse with very welcoming hosts. Location is excellent in the middle of the hanok village but aside of the street so very silent at night. Breakfast was great : the host presented us with a traditional breakfast and explained everything. We had a lovely discussion about her family’s history and her husband played traditional flute while we were enjoying the food! Sleeping on futons is definitely something we are not used to, and can be a bit hard but worth the experience!

- Jane (10/5): Very welcoming and able to understand english and make for a memorable stay. - host was incredibly welcoming - meeting a directionally confused taxi driver and walking us to our accomodations. Giving us quick tour of the area and introducing us to the tourist office staff in town, and suggesting dinner places and tour ideas as well as making a reservation at a local dining facility. As 60+ year old travelers, we knew we would be sleeping on the floor as part of the experience. The floor was nicely heated but our old bones were sore the next day. Appreciated the opportunity to have an authentic experience, but be prepared for some discomfort if you are older.

It made our Jeonju trip really memorable with excellent hospitality, incredible breakfast, quiet and peaceful, and hidden back from a beautiful bustling street. The room we chose was simple and comfortable, and nice to sleep in the traditional Korean style. Breakfast in tranquil courtyard was so special for each of the three mornings we stayed. - Wong (10/5): - I had a warm welcome by the property owner, Lee and Sara. Both are able to speak English which was why I pick the property in the first place. The Hanok is right in the village which makes my exploring of the area so convenient. Even though is in village, the Hanok is slightly away from the main street, hence it was not noisy. The breakfast prepared by Sara was superb with fruits, rice cake, toast, egg and complete with Pu'er tea! I will not hesitate to stay with Lee and Sara if I go to Jeonju again!

I arrived early, and was able to leave my luggage until it was time to check in. I received a lovely welcome tea, and there was a delicious breakfast in the morning. The floor was heated which was very nice. We booked a room with a bunk bed and floor futon. The beds were very hard as there was no mattress just thin padding which was a little disappointing. Floor futon is as expected.

They delivered on our room a very nice breakfast and after that they called us a taxi, since it was raining again and we had a baby they waited with us and with the umbrellas to protect us and the baby from the rain. Thank you very much. The location is perfect on Hanok village center. The rooms are traditional Hanok.

The couple owner treated us with the utmost kindness, patience, and understanding. The room was warm and supremely comfortable. The accommodations were immaculate. We got everything that we needed.

We booked a specific family room with a Western bed so that we could experience traditional hanok accommodation without sleeping on the floor (because of mobility problems). The room was so charming and also comfortable. The location of the hanok couldn't be better, in the very heart of Jeonju Hanok Village. Breakfast was a delight, with traditional rice cake, steamed sweet potato, slow-cooked eggs, fresh fruit and other treats. Nothing we didn't like, the room was wonderful! If you are self-driving, be aware that it's a fair walk from the village car park so best to pack a small case or bag for your stay if you can.

- Rachel (8/5): Amazing location, great hosts and quaint space - The property is located in the heart of the Hanok, the hosts are kind and quick to provide assistance and recommendations (we asked where to go for dessert). The room was small (as expected) and had a private bathroom. The room had a window allowing for air circulation and AC for when it was too hot. We didn't know when breakfast would be and left before it was prepared. I'm sure it would've been amazing, we saw the host setting up the outdoor table for guests to enjoy breakfast. The bed was a blanket on top of a raised floor, I understand that beds in South Korea are not generally squishy/comfortable but this was too hard for me. I would've loved if a foam matt had been placed under the bedroll. I would definitely stay here again but I'd bring ibuprofen to offset the aches from sleeping on such a hard surface.

- LEE (10/5): 한옥마을 최고 시설과 깔금한 한옥호텔 - 방에 들어서는 순간 편백나무 향이 은은해서 너무 마음에 들었고, 온수 수압이 충분히 쎄서 좋아요. 에어컨 냉장고 성능 좋고, 안마의자 피로를 풀기에 넘 좋았어요. 마당에 커피마실수 있는 별도 공간도 있고, 포도가 주렁주렁 열린 넒은 마당이 있어서 아이들도 좋아해요. 가장 좋은것읕 한옥마을 내부에 있어서 즐기기에 최고네요. 사장님께서 한 집에 사셔서 바로바로 서바스 대응해주시고 보안도 좋아요. 여름인데 모기도 거의 없어요. 화장실 매우 깨끗해요. 다시 이용하고 싶어서 명함만 사진찍어 왔네요. 약 100 미터 거리에 교동주차장이 있는데, 1박2일 주차요금이 15000원이고 아주 매우 친절해요.

- qtcaligurl (10/5): Relaxing Stay! - We had an amazing visit to jeonju and we were happy we chose the right place to stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. It had all the amenities you would need during your stay. The small court yard has a table abd chair where you can have breakfast or have an afternoon cup of tea. Our hosts Sarah and her husband were very welcoming and warm. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Sarah cooked us an amazing breakfast and some home grown grapes for dessert. Very kind and educated people. I could of stayed there many more nights. The best time to visit jeonju is during the weekdays as the streets can get super busy on weekends.
