Did a stay cation of sorts and they gave me an upgrade and a wine bottle + tray of chocolate covered strawberries and such. We wanted to get out but we ended up never leaving property and ordered food to the room. It was great and prompt. No issues of any sort. I would highly recommend this place to anyone staying nearby. Very quiet and modern property.

• thesnooks (10/5): Excellent Place To Stay - After a disastrous stay at different nearby hotel we cut short after one dreadful night, we were desperately seeking somewhere clean, quiet, and modern to lay our heads and actually relax. Thank god we found Archer! This hotel was our salvation in the middle of a 5-day stay in the area and I would seek this place out again ever time if we are ever back in the area. I’d also strongly consider Archer if we had to overnight flying in/out of EWR despite it being a little drive from there because of how clean and quiet it was. Staff was attentive and welcoming. Katrina, a front desk team member who was on her literal first days, was incredibly accommodating even remembering our names after the first day, always waving hello when we came/went, asking how she could help and how our day was. She is such a gem. Other employees were also polite and helpful including the night staff! Our room was smaller but very clean and the welcome waters, carmels, and evening snack was a nice touch as was the lobby $1 candy bag. The bed was comfortable and bathroom spacious. The workout facility was spotless and one of the best I’ve had on recent travels. They have a Peloton, weights setup, TRX, elliptical, treadmills, and more. The pool was SO clean and delightful temperature. WiFi was more than capable of streaming business meetings though some connectivity issues with the Direct TV happened here and there I noted that in other reviews but eventually it comes backs. More an annoyance than a true problem. 100% would stay here again and again

We had the luxury of having the AKB restaurant and bar area to ourselves. The food was excellent! The service was attentive but needed to be more accessible to the guests with their orders, and serving water. Plus telling guests about coffee, desserts, and cappuccino (which was forgotten). I still gave them five star for their efforts. But wanted to mention these things for the next party. All in all people loved the Archer

• colettee110 (2/5): Wouldn’t recommend - I am very shocked this is a highly rated hotel. We didn’t have hot water last night or this morning. My children would not bathe because of this. The water was ice cold. We’re on vacation, drove 4 hours here and we couldn’t even use the shower. There was also mold and hair in the shower, as you can see by my pictures. This is awful, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. It’s 24 degrees out and we can’t even bathe before our drive home.
• J9268LSmichelled (8/5): Girls weekend - Beautiful Hotel! Comfortable rooms, best beds and Pillows. The lobby was very warm and inviting and allowed for us to stay and relax outside of the rooms. Only disappointment was that we were celebrating a big birthday and the hotel staff did not provide any complimentary amenities as other places have in the past. We still enjoyed and I would definitely return to the hotel again!

No top sheets provided on either bed, by design I suppose. HVAC always runs blowing with hot ore cold air cold air. Restaurant food and service need a lot of improvement. Waiter was inattentive and couldn’t be located during breakfast although thee was only one table.

We ordered from service from the bar, and the food arrived very quickly and was great. Check-in and checkout went smoothly and very efficiently. I am very happy.

Room was clean and comfortable, staff was friendly. My qualms are minor and personal — I hate the sliding/barn door bathrooms in hotels and this hotel uses them. Second, the room fridge was broken so the food I had in there spoiled over night.

• Dreamer56743388107 (6/5): Should have been better! - On the evening of 12/8, I was woken out of a deep sleep at 11:30pm due to the fire alarm. After about 5 minutes, everyone started heading to the lobby where there was NO manager, NO ONE providing information. There were 2 front desk people still checking people in. Finally, someone asked if anyone was in charge. The woman next to me asked the front desk person what was going on and she said it was some cleaning fluid that set it off, so a few of us started going back to our rooms. I expected perhaps a text from the hotel or SOME communication or apology from the manager. NOTHING. If this was a true emergency, I fear for the welfare of the guests as there didn't seem to be any protocols in place. This place could be grat - clean and cute. Just get your safety and management act together!

The front desk staff is extremely friendly and very professional. The rooms are always room and housekeeping does a great job. Don’t hesitate to stay here if you happen to be in the area!
• LC1968 (2/5): Service has seriously declined. - Ive stayed here over Thanksgiving every year since the Archer opened and the quality of the hotel has precipitously declined: 1. Broken nespresso machine upon check-in 2. Broken TV on check-in 3. Failure of housekeeping to clean room 4. Swimming pool "broken" on Thanksgiving and Black Friday, then mysteriously "fixed" on Saturday 5. Breakfast buffet way overpriced for what is only slightly above the level of a Holiday Inn. Guests have to chase down waitstaff if they want their coffee in a for-here cup 6. Rampant weed smell in the lobby and by the elevators 7. Drunk guests in the hallway at 2am. 8. The management of the hotel absolutely doesn't give a rat's butt about any of it. Honestly the Archer chain needs to shed this one diseased appendage.

We have been staying there since they opened and they are always very helpful and accommodating. We especially appreciate the dog friendly atmosphere which we often take advantage of. The rooms are well appointed and quiet. Definitely the place to stay near Morristown or Madison.

Traveling with our adult son and his GF fo a short 2 night trip and we did not want to book 2 separate rooms. The room and bathroom was spacious and the 2 king beds were fantastic for 4 adults. Well appointed gym and the bar was a great stop!

I think we were missing a lamp so half the room was pitch black at night, we had to use our flashlights on our phones to see. Pool was out of order. The flooring would pop under your feet when you walked around. There were large badly repaired cracks in the ceiling and walls. Housekeeping came at 8am and when we asked them to come back a little later they never cleaned our room leaving us with 2 towels for a family of 4.
• Venture728283 (10/5): They Did It Again!!! - My wife and I met family friends at the restaurant at Archer Hotel (Florham Park, NJ) on November 11. Our primary server was Lynnell, who could not have been more pleasant and attentive to our needs. Lynnell saw to it that we had an excellent experience. Just terrific! This visit was our fourth in four months, including going there for our anniversary in early August. Each dinner has been outstanding, both the service and the food. They offer a limited menu, but again our experience has been that just about every item is outstanding. How that can be, I don’t know, but it’s the case. They offer several exceptional appetizers - I could make a whole meal of 3-4 appetizers, and be quite happy! Among the entrees, again there was something for everyone, and again the quality of the food and the presentation was shockingly good - shocking because we did not expect to find this quality at a hotel restaurant. But we did. And it makes us happy, because the Archer Hotel is only 10 minutes from our house. We highly recommend it. Thanks for listening.

• nicn361 (10/5): 10/10, No Notes - We really had a 10/10 experience at The Archer. The staff was incredibly accommodating, friendly, and welcoming. We were able to check in early, which was incredible since we had taken a red-eye into Newark from California and didn't get much sleep. The hotel's design is very aesthetically pleasing, and despite our room being located right by the elevator (we were given the option to choose otherwise), it was remarkably quiet. We would not hesitate to return here if future travels had us in the area.

What an amazing property with such beautiful rooms and amenities. Until this hotel arrived we dreaded staying at the subpar hotel in the area. Shout out on this most recent visit to the wonderful front desk clerk Justin - what a charming and friendly person! He made our stay really special!
• byzarw (10/5): Wedding weekend - We flew in from DFW for 48 hours to attend nephew’s wedding. The atmosphere was inviting with friendly employees. Our room included a refrigerator and microwave and even dishes and silverware! We got the ‘wedding rate’, which we thought was reasonable. Overall, our stay at the ARCHER was lovely!
• Daniel (8/5): - The hotel rooms need to be updated. The bathroom door in our room was not closing and the shower did not work properly. The carpet was dirty and the furniture has many scratches. The towels looked clean but did not smell fresh. The staff is excellent and the locationis very convenient. We have stayed at thus hotel many times over the past six-seven years.

• billbK7584IL (4/5): Not good at check out! - When leaving in the morning my wife and I checked out at the front desk and immediately realized I had left my phone on the room. The person behind the desk could care less. She was maybe your key may still work. Thankfully the key still worked. I travel a lot for work this was a I could care less moment.

I traveled solo and the staff went above and beyond to make sure I was safe and my room was located in on/a safe and secure floor of the Archer. I would highly recommend this hotel. I attended a wedding nearby and we had the after party and post wedding brunch at The Archer. The breakfast foods/service staff and bar service were amazing. Well done Archer.

• Venture728283 (10/5): Outstanding Restaurant Experience - Exemplary Food and Service - My wife and I went to dinner at the Archer Hotel in Florham Park for our anniversary. We had been to the restaurant on the ground floor about six weeks prior and my wife wanted to go back. We had an excellent experience! The food was outstanding (a bit of a surprise for a small boutique hotel) and the service exemplary. Our server, Sue, could not have been nicer or more helpful. Her thoughtful attention to our needs (and wants) made the evening that much more special for us. She was delightful! We ordered more items from the menu than we could manage to eat in that one sitting. We couldn’t resist trying some of the more intriguing offerings, like the shrimp tacos and a unique version of bruschetta. But Sue made it very easy for us to manage all that and take home the extras. Hats off to the chef as well. We kidded each other that maybe we were in a real-life version of “The Bear” with none of the angst - the food and service were that good! We’ve already recommended the Archer restaurant to several of our friends and members of our extended family. And I’m certain we ourselves will return in the not-too-distant future. Just a fantastic find here in central New Jersey.

• suzannesP8284FR (4/5): Outdoor patio nice but visitors be advised - Stopped off for a drink and to use the outdoor patio for work. (I'm always looking for places to refer visitors to.) Front desk staff was friendly, but the bar wasn't open yet. Unfortunately, the outdoor patio was monopolized by a woman speaking loudly over speaker phone, smoking a hookah with pot. I'm not sure this is the "vibe" they were going for. Would not recommend.
• kimmV5372NQ (10/5): Wonderful upscale hotel with exceptional service. - From the pre check-in welcome text to the late checkout all the staff wanted was to ensure our stay exceeded our expectations. Kudos go to Jared, the Director of Customer Service, who helped me surprise my daughter by leaving a bowl of chocolate covered strawberries to wish her a happy birthday from Archer as we started our celebration weekend together. Everything is comfortable and clean. We look forward to returning to the Florham Park Archer.

The room was very clean. Loved the surprise delivery of chocolate covered strawberries and wine in celebration for my wedding anniversary to our room. I look forward to my next stay.

• Chelsea (6/5): Overpriced for what you get. - The beds and pillows are very uncomfortable. We had trouble sleeping and woke up with back pain. The temperature was hard to regulate, either it was too cold, or too warm and muggy. The food wasn’t worth the money we spent. If you want breakfast, go up the street to the diner. You will pay less/equal to their breakfast that is not very good and get what you really want. The dinner also was extremely expensive for mediocre food. Our waiter also wasn’t very friendly. To get help you have to text; there is no really room service so didn’t get an answer or help until hours later. The best part about this place was their gym. Their gym was top notch and I highly enjoyed that. My daughter loved the pool, though it does appear to need some attention, we got good use out of it. a hot tub be a nice added feature since they have the room for it. All in all it was ok but I wouldn’t come again and if I do it have to be for a short time again. I’m glad we only were there for a weekend, any longer and that would have been highly difficult.

• ShelTripdvisor (10/5): - Was a great stay. I stayed overnight for my birthday. I Ienjoyed everything. Bed was comfortable, the pullows were fluffy and the staff was great. The following items did not take away from the 5 stars. I believe this will make things even greater. When I checked I, the lobby was quite warm. The front desk person he assured me it was just the lobby. He was correct, it was just the lobby. I felt bad for the people at the front desk. The room was great, the only thing hear housekeeping needs to take the time out to dust the headboard. Especially where it dips. Finally, the French toast sticks were a little hard. Not sure if they were supposed to be or not. Sign would have been nice if that was the case. Finally, the pool and workout room was great. Looking forward to returning.

• debraeH2705XZ (10/5): Great Place to Stay - The hotel was beautiful and very clean. The rooms are spacious and I suggest getting the suite if you are staying for the more than one day. The food was good, especially the sliders!! However the greatest part was the staff. They were very pleasant and accommodating. I would especially like to thank you to Justin at the front desk. We were a large wedding party and with all the needs of various guest those that flew in from, Jamaica, Florida, and other places all expressed their gratitude for his positive attitude and patience. I highly recommend staying her for any celebration or weekend getaway.
