Shower and sink were filthy dirty in the bathroom, soap scum and dirt on taps ...no bathroom mats to step on after showering or carpets to stand on in the bedroom, place was very cold. Especially the bedroom. Main issue was the cleanliness its lacking.

One was brought when requested, as well as a standing fan. Room 14 was terrible - mould on the ceiling in the bedroom, no blades on the ceiling fan, no handles on cupboard doors, the room smelled like it had been closed for a long time, inside the cupboards also smelled like they had been closed for a long time. Room 12 was much better, clean floors and ceilings. A much more comfortable stay

For winter could use some mats next to the bed or by the bathroom to make the place feel cozier. To break up all the tiles in this particular unit. Other than that, great!
• Montgomery (6/5): Read my detailed review - The Cleaning Staff do a fantastic job. It was super clean. Very good quality cotton sheets and bedding, with top sheets which is a very good plus. Very good quality towels. Comfortable beds. The cleaning staff appear to be holding this place together, however management or lack of it and lack of maintenenace is letting it down. You can see it was once well managed and loved, but sadly not now. The tap mixer in the one room fell over, the basin drain was blocked. The shower drain in the family unit had no cover, so one stared down a hole. The mould in the silicone edging around showers glass and the edging on the bath needs to be replaced, prefereably with a dark silicone rather than white silicone. The manager was not aware of our booking, and was then on the back foot, but gave us an extra room because the beds were not arranged. However this room had the blocked basin drain and the basin tap that fell over when trying to use it. The garden needs to be cleaned up and plants thinned out, it has an overgrown unloved look to it. The small black car in the carpark area that has had its door crow-barred or something is unsightly, and its been sitting there for months and months, perhaps move it into the lock up garage, as it give the place an odd feel. The pool area was unswept, and looked like it had been forgotten, my children were too scared to go to it, because of how it looked. The kitchen cupboards and bathroom basin cupboards all have moisture issues where the mdf wood has expanded, this could be trimmed off and metal feet put onto the units with little expense but a better visual impact to the visitor. The clear roof above the family unit has been broken, but someone has put a faux grass garden matt over part of the hole above the door??? why not just remove the broken plastic roof and make an alternative plan, it is unsightly. A lot can be done, that would not cost a lot of money, just a bit of elbow grease from a person not scared of a bit of work. I have gone into detail, but I felt really sorry for this place, because it really has a lot of potential that is being abused by bad management.

The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful I specifically booked here for the aircon, which was not in the bedroom but the lounge. The listing didn't specify where the aircon was, so it is on me to assume it was available throughout the unit. Not having aircon in the bedroom, where I wanted it, made my stay incredibly uncomfortable. The unit we were in wasn't as private as I would have liked it to be - the passage from the bedroom/lounge to the bathroom has a large window without blinds or curtains. Anyone from the parking lot could have looked in at the wrong moment, making it uncomfortable.

So we used the unit as a place to stay & sleep and safe place to park our car - this guest house met all three!! The room we had was not the best for a family of 4.
