Good to have breakfast included with a mix of hot food and pastries, fruit, cereal etc. Small point but would be helpful to have a hook in the bathroom to add a towel. The rail by the sink isn't big enough.

• Greg (8/5): Perfect for our stay - Spacious rooms with kitchenette and generous bathroom. Very short walk from train. Easy walk to good food. Decent breakfast. Its not in the action or on the waterfront but if you can walk its fine. We were arriving late and just wanted to crash near the station - perfect. They should keep an eye on maintenance - kitchenette tap coming loose, part of the shower mixer came off (easy to put back). Just little things that need checking regularly.

• Jean (9/5): - I liked where the hotel was located. The fact also that the rooms are equipped with a small kitchen. The thing I didn't like (which is not the hotels fault) is the lift from the train station to the ground next to the hotel was broken and has been since my stay last November. I had to get 2 suitcases down all the steep steps to the ground. It was scary as I thought I was going to fall.

• Milena (9/5): Great stay for a short break - The property is in great location , close by the lanes and the seafront in a walkable distance. Very well furnished studio , with kitchenette, utensils, microwave, fridge , dishwasher , table with chairs , great view on the 7th floor , we were in room 707 . Fairly clean and great continental breakfast included . The staff was kind , smiling, friendly and prepared. There is a gym , laundry room and The Den a lovely space where to chill and play poll. The bathroom and the room were smaller than expected, I don’t believe the room were on point , there was dust under the table , on the furnitures and I didn’t find the bed and the pillows particularly comfortable. Also the rug was a trip hazard as was sticking out the bed and risked to fall multiple times

• Fortuna (9/5): Perfetto, comodo e accogliente. - Lo staff al desk, e in particolare i due ragazzi che c'erano la mattina (fine marzo), davvero di una gentilezza e di una disponibilità rare; la camera perfetta, pulita, spaziosa, ottimi anche gli spazi in comune e la palestra. Sulla colazione credo si possa migliorare e in camera sarebbe stato utile trovare almeno la cuffia per la doccia e delle pattine (ciabattine). Ho avuto un problema (avevo lasciato il caricatore in camera ed ero in partenza) e devo dire che ho dovuto insistere per risolverlo subito perché mi era stato detto che la persona che puliva la camera sarebbe tornata solo l'indomani. Ho insistito e poi da lì nuovamente efficienti e gentilissimi ed effettivamente è stato recuperato subito.

• Sarah (8/5): Superb location and great rooms, with some attention to detail needed in places. - We have stayed in other Staybridge Suites and so had some experience of what to expect. We were not disappointed. The location is absolutely superb being so close to the main train station and the North Laine. Despite this it was very quiet with very good, noise insulating windows. Staff were super friendly and helpful and the room is a good size with good facilities, and the bed was very comfy. The breakfast was good overall, being clearly laid out and a reasonable range of choices. These are usual gripes with hotels where bathrooms are designed by people who never have to use them. The shower was good (hot and strong) but the shower screen and tray poorly designed such that the floor easily became flooded around the shower. This is clearly a longstanding problem as the bottom of the door frame was damaged as a result. There is only one hook for towels and this is in the shower! There were no hooks on the back of the door to hang anything up. There was no shelf for own toiletries in the shower. Because of the flooding we had to use towels to mop up the water which is clearly not good for green credentials. Although the breakfast was good overall, it was a little bit limited on the hot choices (perhaps the daily menu could be communicated more clearly?), for example only sausages available on Sunday and only bacon on Monday. The breakfast room also had fierce air con on the Sunday and so was cold, though this was better on the Monday. So a bit inconsistent on these things.

• Ceri (9/5): Perfect for my business trips and easy access for the train. - Really nice rooms, plenty of space even with the kitchenette in there. Everything you could need. Very handy for the train in the morning and not too far away from other amenities if you want to head out first a meal, or grab something from Sainsbury’s down the street to bring back to your room. Staff very helpful as the hairdryer decided to die a spectacular death, and a replacement was in my room when I got back at the end of the day. Can’t think of anything.

• Andrew (9/5): Great for weekends or longer for central Brighton. - It's like staying hybrid hotel/apartment. Located only minutes from the Trainstation was ideal for us. Our room - 202 was clean, spacious and had full amenties for anyone staying in Brighton for longer than the one night we did. The bed was (kingsize) and very comfy. The shower was excellent (Shampoo/Conditioner/Gel was included). Even though it was the station, it was lovely and quiet. The included breakfast was great (though no bacon was on the hot buffet) and plentiful. The staff were brilliant and went out of their way to help. We had an evening train so they not only kep our bags but we were allowed to wait in the hotel for our train. A great place to stay with it being minutes from the Lanes.
