- Chris (7/5): - Parking was easy and the suite was functional and nice for family. More to do with the room. AC in one room broken on arrival but fixed quickly. Light and electrical unusual- turn off out in main room killed bedroom lights and power near bedside outlets. Kitchen had bit of worn look in places or chips in places and walls and doors had white patched paint to cover up but was not same shade as the original paint. Otherwise all great.

- Sarah (8/5): Good - Location was great for the Brandon Lake concert at Credit One Stadium. Had to call for maintenance as soon as we got to our room, as our toilet was clogged. Also, had to ask for an extra towel set, as there were 4 of us and only 3 sets of towels. I checked pricing the day of check in, and it was $70 cheaper, but my card had already been charged.

- K8800OQbriank (10/5): Extremely friendly & helpful - Our flight got cancelled by American Airlines who had booked us a room at TownePlace Suites. Turned out (no surprise given their utter incompetence), American Airlines never told the hotel they were sending people their way. The hotel was fantastic, worked to reroute all the passengers to close by hotels, were fantastic to interact with. The shuttle driver (wish I could remember his name) was amazing and provided some levity to an incredibly frustrating day/night.

The cleanliness level was good but the shower desperately needed attention. The bath mirror was loosing its silver. The furniture was worn. The sheer curtains looked like they had been recently laundered(good) but were very wrinkly. Such a large item created a poor impression for the whole room.

- torpey (10/5): - We have just had a short stay in The Marriott ToneSuites. (family of 5 adults). Spacious rooms with wonderful staff, extremely pleasant and helpful, particularly Donna. She gave us lots of ideas for things to see and do in the vicinity. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast in spotless surroundings, a pool which we didn’t have a chance to avail of. A wonderful shuttle service available to guests to and from the airport, to the shopping mall etc. we thoroughly recommend it. We will definitely return. Jacqueline & Family. Galway. Ireland 🇮🇪

- Robin (9/5): Great vacation spot - The location was great to get away from the bustle of Charleston. The rooms were very comfortable. Breakfast was hot and varied each day. Staff was all friendly. The ac in front of room didn’t work well. The vent in the bathroom didn’t work at all. There were no hooks for towels or clothes to hang them up. We went to Dollar Tree & bought over the door hooks. Biggest complaint was the pool was only 4 feet deep.

- 748ericq (10/5): Great Times Again @ Towneplace Suites!! :-) - TownePlace Suites Airport / Convention center is my go to place for business travel. The rooms and grounds are always very well kept, clean, safe / secure. Donna is a rockstar and does an excellent job keep the breakfast hot, fresh, and well stocked. Benny was very helpful last time with seeing that any needs while I stayed were met. Worth the stay for business or pleasure - outstanding location close to food, Charleston, and entertainment!

The staff was super friendly, the place was clean, and right next to a whole shopping center that we walked to. The only critique I would have is the half-open shower. It’s like they started putting a glass door on it, but left the door part off. Water gets on the bathroom floor, despite your best efforts. But otherwise, my family thoroughly enjoyed our stay there with our two dogs.

- Tonja (9/5): Superb - Beautiful place & the pool with the fireplace, fire pit & 2 gas grills were exceptional bonuses. The pool isn't deep, 4 1/4 ft, but great for getting wet & kids playing. Breakfast was good & I enjoyed the hot choices. Turkey sausage being an option was good for my child, who doesn't eat pork sausage or bacon. I would have liked grits to have been a choice along with hot oatmeal. That wasn't a deal breaker, though . The room was large & comfortable. Loved the kitchenette and full-size refrigerator. It was fully equipped and included a dishwasher and cook top. There were plenty of friendly staff & everything was clean. Location is excellent across from Tanger Outlet and lots of restaurants to choose from. All within walking distance. Easy access to & from interstate.

The hotel was very nice, clean, and smelled really good when we walked in. The stay was made extra exceptional from two of the team members. Ashley at the front desk was very sweet and personable. She got our every need met quickly and even called the room to make sure everything was okay after a small concern my mother had. Ashley always kept a smile on her face and talked to everyone that came in. Ashley is the type of employer that everyone needs in their establishment as she exhibits wonderful customer service. The other person is Donna in breakfast. I loved her spirit. She so also very sweet and helpful and made sure that we had everything we needed. I will be booking this hotel anytime I am in Charleston.

There was a very strong disinfectant odor upon entering the lobby. It made my eyes water! The kitchen floor in our suite was sticky. We paid over $300 for this room! Gross!

The hotel offers breakfast, coin laundry and is very close to the airport with a shuttle offered. One aspect that is really nice is the hotel personnel. Mr. Benny and Ms. Donna are fabulous. They are very attentive during breakfast and super nice. This Marriott location is very lucky to have Mr. Benny and Ms. Donna. The rooms are a nice size with king size beds in each room (for the 2 bedroom suite). The heat can be controlled in each room.

- Michelle (6/5): Ok - It was close to our event. On arrival, the front desk staff told us that the rooms were not ready. While sitting in the lobby, we watched the same front desk. Staff check in three other patrons. I went back up to the lady and asked if there’s any rooms open because I just saw you check in three families, When you told us there was none open. She told us rooms are opening up slowly and they asked for specific rooms. I told her you never asked for paperwork or confirmation number or her name, so how do you know what type of room we asked for she answered with what’s your name she found us an open room handicap, which is fine, we then took a shuttle the second day to our event at the convention center or Colosseum and we’re told that there are shuttle is open until midnight. We called to get picked up and were told there was no driver in the shuttle open back up at five. So we had to walk back to our hotel each time walking into the hotel we were never addressed. Hello welcome good morning nothing. The only one in the hotel that addressed us was the lady that did breakfast while sitting in the lobby the first day we overheard an argument, the maintenance manager came in and was arguing with his employee and told him if he can’t do the job, he’ll find somebody else to do it. Argument continued, and they brought it outside. It was very unprofessional and not the place. Our overall stay was OK. Not sure if we’ll stay there next tournament.

Very nice check in, great clean room and close to some quickie restaurants. Felt safe here and highly recommmend. Only draw back is they don’t have a on site bar…but bring your own!
- G1063TPglenm (4/5): Just don’t bother, it is not worth it. - Poorly cleaned, stained furniture, overheard employees using vulgar language to complain about guests, no security cameras on parking areas, employees sit in their cars playing loud music that you can hear in your room or they stand outside your window on the phone talking and laughing loudly. It makes every greeting seem so two faced that I wish they ignored me. I have stayed here before and I had a great experience, when you get certain rooms with certain cleaning service, but now I see it is a gamble especially when they do not have many rooms available.

- Julie (2/5): - The most unique part of the property was the complete lack of self respect that the caretakers took in keeping the living areas and or areas around the property looking hospitable. The air conditioning was so loud I was unable to sleep, the fridge and blankets smelled as if they had never been cleaned between visits. When asked for a room cleaning I was met with nothing because the lock on my door was dead and nobody could open it. The lamps in the hallways are all hanging at an angle and look like they are going to fall from the ceiling, the carpet in the hallway is missing chunks, and after a conversation with another guest, I learned that their fridge broke and that their garbage disposable smelled so bad that they had to move rooms. I think I would rather stay in the sewers than come back here, at least in the sewers they don’t try to convince you that it’s nice. In truth the best part of the stay was when I checked out and went back to the airport.
- Kimberly (1/5): Stay far away - The location was pretty great in regards to actual physical location. That unfortunately was the only good thing about this experience. The place had roaches. They threw away our stuff before we checked out. There were numerous issues and when the staff was informed they barely pretended to care.
