- Beth (6/5): - We stayed here for a concert, which was about a mile away. Because I had my child with me, I chose to drive to the venue. No one mentioned to me that the road closes after shows and we drove around for over an hour to get back. Then there was no parking when we arrived. I have to assume this happens every time there’s a big concert. While this is not the hotel’s fault, hopefully this review will save someone else the headache.

Walls are thin but we were exhausted from the concert so it didn’t bother us. The only reason I would go back there is to attend another concert.
- Monique (10/5): Best Bedding ever! - The rooms are always clean and quiet. I was on the 5th floor in a corner unit. You couldn't hear anything, and I'm not being interrupted by it. The cleaning staff in the morning.It is so peaceful there.I would never stay anywhere else.
- Travis (2/5): - Came back to the room after attending a concert down the road. My wife pulled the comforter back and climbed into bed. Upon doing so her hand brushed across a clear and hardened spot on the fitted sheet, which I don’t even wanna speculate could be. Upon further inspection, getting up, disgusted the regular bedsheet had green stains on it as well and obviously the bedding was just pulled up and never changed from the previous guest. The bathroom wasn’t very clean either (which I didn’t even bother to mention to her because what the hell was the point at 12:30 AM) as there were remnants under the toilet seat and the floor felt like it was never cleaned, I contacted the front desk and the lady told me if I wanted sheets to come down and get them myself. She then said she’s the only one there and came off very rude and was completely unapologetic and could care less. The air conditioning unit in the room rattled all night like a diesel truck running and the people who we shared a thin wall with were partying till about 2 AM. We maybe slept three hours in total. In the morning, the same person checked me out. She never asked me how the stay was or apologized instead just asked me if I wanted to receipt and that was that apparently. Horrible staff, horrible maintenance and service never again.

When I entered my room, it was a bit of a mix of bacon and eggs and weed. Stains on the sheets. Bugs in the bathroom. Ick.

- Stephanie (10/5): - We were in town for a convention and this hotel was only a 15 minute walk from the venue, it's in a great location just off the highway and in Hartford there are scooters on every corner so it seemed like we were just next door to our event. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, arrived early and was allowed in on an early arrival fee which was worth it considering the long drive we had, we just wanted to relax a bit. The room was very clean and AC was set before we got there, so it was nice and cool after the hot car ride. There isnt advertisement for a pool, but there's a pool! I did let the staff know about there not being any advertisement for it, next time I'll be prepared! We will definitely be staying here again in the future. :)

My attempts to contact management (messages, calls, and chats with IHG) were all unsuccessful. Lack of parking lot security further highlights the hotel's disregard for guest safety.

For some odd reason, blackout curtains don’t close all the way, you can hear everything in the adjacent rooms. Bathroom floor was wet when I got in, towels had holes in them and were like a decade old. Will not be staying here again.

- Verified traveler (2/5): - The people/person is the room next to mine had the tv on very loudly right up until about 3am. I finally fell asleep and tv was going again at 7am. When I first arrived there was no one at the front desk, so I wait a little while. Then I read that at 11am doors are locked so I did t calm down to complain because the front-desk was seemed to be light on personal. I left exhausted.

- Roger (8/5): Nice inexpensive hotel w/kitchette. - The hotel is fairly inexpensive in comparison to other downtown hotels. The staff was very accommadating. My only criticism was that i wanted to leave a day early and they said they would have to charge for that day. If i would have made a longer reservation they would have only charged 1 nite. Also the kitchenette, was very well appointed. I would stay again for the proce and accomadations.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Okay place to stay - Overall it was a fine/ok place to stay for a night. We were just making a quick visit to Hartford and the surrounding areas and needed a place to stay. It was empty and felt somewhat deserted. The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. They were able to suggest places for us to go eat. The area isn't the nicest area to be in.
- Lisa (8/5): - We were a family of four, we stayed in a one-bedroom suite, which was very accommodating. The staff was very kind. The breakfast was good with a decent amount of options, our only issue in the breakfast area was a large group who had a birthday party stay for children. They dominated the breakfast area, leaving minimal space and causing many items to run out quickly, leaving the rest of us waiting for some items. It was difficult for the staff to keep up. They also dominated the pool the night we arrived, so we opted not to utilize that amenity, which was disappointing for the kids.

- Shannon (10/5): A little home away from home - I had a really positive experience! I had to travel for business by myself. This was a welcoming and cozy atmosphere. I appreciated the kitchen and it made my stay feel like a home away from home.

They did nothing to make the parking lot safe nor attempted to clear the ice, it was very dangerous. It had easy access to downtown and the highway, but there were many people walking past the hotel and the neighborhood did not feel safe.

- Karen (8/5): Reasonable place @ a good price - Stayed two nights @ this location. Knew it was a bit 'out of the way' but the location turned out to be fine. Everything about the hotel was good; keep in mind there is no restaurant in the hotel or nearby but you can get food delivery. Full kitchen (with coffee pot & microwave) was a help. Plan to stay here again on my next visit since price was reasonable for downtown Hartford.

- Q2634GTolgaa (10/5): Journey Life - The room was excellent. The housekeeper kindness. The area for used computer was good. The areas was neat. The Loundry place was convenient. The reception people need to have more emphaty to deal with people. That was my impression in this kind of job.

- Jackie (6/5): One and Done - We stayed here for one night and will not here again when traveling to the Hartford area. The beds were very uncomfortable, the bathroom sink didn't drain properly, the area the TV sat on very very dirty and dusty and we were short towels. Usually you get 4 we only had 2. There was no shampoo or body wash. When we called down we were told we had to come down and get the items and that there should be a holder in the shower that held all three. I told them there was no holder so Inwas handed a bottle. As you can see from the picture there was no holder. There was room service but it was not available and this review will not allow me to upload pictures of the sink and shower area.

- Myrna (8/5): Ok - It was okay for a couple of nights, room had a well equipped kitchen and ample space. The area is a bit sketchy. I’d propably stay somewhere else next time. The morning I left there was a car in the parking lot with a broken window and glass scattered on the floor.

- Carrie (8/5): - close to the interstate so was good for easy to get around. I wonder if this was a place used in conjunction with housing authority. Quite a few families that seem to be there more long-term - hence the noisy remark above as well as noise from the interstate. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
