Guest Reviews
- Lesley (10/5): Highly recommended. An excellent location in the Barossa. - Excellent location. Great room. Dealing with Wendy was so easy and friendly.
- Gopalan (10/5): - Clean and well appointed accommodation. Host was exceptionally responsive. Nil.
- Michael (10/5): A warm cosy stay in Barossa. - Could not fault anything. Everything has been thought of from sewing kits to bath salts (the little things you remember) Nil
- Eshan (10/5): -
- James (10/5): Perfect location, home feel, clean and perfect! - Stunning property - with ample provisions! Nothing, but the possums were a bit of a nuisance at night.
- Anita (9/5): Very unique, and quaint. - Sweetest accommodation. Was warm and cosy. Breakfast supplied was amazing and beautiful standard. Top quality linen on bed and towels. Visited the winery next door and have a lovely experience with staff - Very personal. Wandered up the road and sampled the gin - Was a nice surprise.
Went to the old school over the road, offering snack style food on a Monday last afternoon. We loved everything. This is minor and would probably not normally worry me. But when away from home it sleep light.
We were warned by staff prior - we had possums on the roof both nights of our stay. Husband didn’t hear them, I’m a light sleeper and was woken throughout the night. 🥺 unfortunately it is a part of the environment where cottage is.
- Tony (10/5): Excellent place to stay for exploring the Barossa Valley - Location, clean, comfy,
- Kerrie (10/5): A comfy cottage stay in the heart of the Barossa. - Beautifully presented property with thoughtful extras, such as a cheese platter, a delicious complimentary bottle of wine and generous breakfast provisions. The cottages have a cosy vibe with comfy bedding, and extra rugs and cushions for curling up on the couch. The host turned on the heating for us before we arrived on a coolish day which was very much appreciated. I highly recommend the Marananga Cottages in the heart of the Barossa!
- James (10/5): - Close to the winery and comfort None

Quaint cottages in peaceful surroundings . The only one thing, I Would have preferred to have a wardrobe or some sort of rack to hang clothes on.
- Caroline (10/5): - Pretty cottage, good space and lovely generous items for breakfast including a bottle of wine. Good recommendations from Wendy on locality. In an exceptional area of the Barossa.
- Nicola (10/5): Beautiful cottage in a great place for visiting the Barossa. - Everything about this place was so lovely, welcoming and so tastefully done. The linens were beautiful. Communication was great. Plenty of food and drink for breakfasts and the wine and platter was very much appreciated. Perfect spot to stay. Definitely would stay here again. There nothing to not like about this property.

- Sciotto (10/5): Amazing and would highly recommend it! - Beautiful cottage and quiet serene location. Nothing
- Joanne (9/5): - The hosts had thought of everything. Stylish decor, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed the peaceful rural location although at 37 degrees it was rather too hot to sit outside during our stay. Very close to the Barossa bike trail and bike hire depot. Liked everything!

- Sanjay (10/5): - Great location , well stocked and modern comfort Nothing
- Adam (10/5): - This place is banging. The location is just fab you can walk to a couple of winery’s. The bacon, eggs cheese milk and breakfast stuff made even better and the free wine We should have stayed longer
- Ashlea (10/5): - This was such a perfect stay. The location is right in the centre of some of the most amazing wineries. Walking distance to a few! The breakfast supplies were substantial.
- Danielle (10/5): Another beautiful stay at the cottages. Such a beautiful spot, clean and well equipped. We had another relaxing weekend - Beautiful spot, clean and well equipped for a relaxing weekend in wine country.
- Peter (9/5): Lovely accommodation with perfect location for a great winery experience. - Breakfast was well catered for and the variety of food was well considered. Room was neat and clean with heating and cooling and good blinds and curtains. Bathroom was spacious and had everything. Bottle of wine on arrival was nice. Large parking area and so close to gin distillery and winery literally next door. Amazing.

- Chloe (10/5): - Amazing location - literally 2 minute walk to a distillery, amazing restaurant and wineries are just around the corner, so well equipped (the owners are so kind and generous) and such a cute property - loved all the finishing touches. We loved our time here and am recommending to all my friends and family!!
- Jackie (9/5): -
- Alison (10/5): Relaxing with great day outings. - It was cute, large, homely. Incredibly well stocked with food for breakfast, drinks, snacks and a bottle of wine. It was in the country but next door to a cellar door, 2 doors up from the gin distillery plus across the road and down a few minutes to other cellar doors. Closest town was about 5kms away for all your needs plus cafes etc.
The accommodation was right in the heart of the vineyards. We had 3 nights at the cottages which was great. Would need to stay for at least 2 nights. I think if you wanted to walk to cafes and restaurants for dinner you may find it better to stay in one of the towns but I loved our location. You go out into the Barossa Valley to explore and experience the beautiful landscape and attractions.
- Anna (10/5): - Beautiful cottage the service was amazing and the food Devine
- Fiona (10/5): Relaxing and comfortable stay in beautifully furnished cottage location - We loved all the little touches… you know the kind of place you go ‘I wonder if they have….’ And they do! (interestingly, the only thing we couldn’t find was a tea towel, but we feel that was a simple miss as every single other thing we could think of was there!).
Beautifully furnished cottage with a welcoming cheese platter and wine. Comfortable beds, lovely space. Location was great too. A few small towns just minutes away. Oh, and great dining recommendations - if you like steak, I highly recommend Charbarossa on the list of local eats provided)
Hosts were lovely to deal with. We didn’t see them at all, but I feel if we’d needed anything, they would have been straight away onto it.
We really loved our stay here and have recommended to friends already! Nothing…
- David (7/5): -
- Patricia (9/5): A lovely well equipped home away from home. - Beautiful, clean and fantastic eye for detail N/A
- Jeanette (10/5): -
- Ian (9/5): Lovely little cottage in the heart of the Barossa - Lovely cottage, well equipped and quiet. We had no idea that the breakfast supplied was for the whole of our stay and that would have been useful to know beforehand. The breakfast would have been superb for one night, ok for two but for three nights meant we had to go out and source some.
- Anita (10/5): Amazing place to stay! Will be back. - Everything was amazing. A delicious cheese platter and bottle of wine awaited us and started our weekend beautifully. Bed was super comfy and the bread amazing! NA
- Maryjane (9/5): Perfect! - Delightful and stylish place to stay in an excellent location for exploring Seppeltsfield and fabulous dining options close by. We were travelling with friends so had a cottage each which was perfect. It was the little extras which made it stand out such as the tasting plate of local goodies and the accommodating, easy going hosts. Nothing really but couldn't see the point of the fake fire - the place is lovely already so no need for this to create ambience.
- Iris (9/5): -

The location was quiet and picturesque. We really enjoyed sitting on the patio, listening to the birds while the sun set.
