• Světlík (8/5): Very friendly place - Very friendly staff and dog, and cats. It was really friendly and welcoming place. In a great spot, we absolutely fell in love with Chiang Mai. The room was not the best but it was fair for the price. I wouldn't mind staying there again. It felt a little dated and worn out. Plus when we arrived the room was awfuly perfumed, (extremely sweet, strong scent)it lasted a while day.

Es war jeden Tag eine Freude, mit den Mitarbeitern über Verschiedenes zu sprechen. Das Frühstücksangebot war nicht verkehrt und die Zimmer sehr schön und auch der Aufenthaltsbereich vor der Rezeption extrem ansprechend. Würde sofort wieder hin und Wasser bei Abreise auch traurig, weg zu müssen ❤️ In der Nähe gab es alles, was man braucht! Alles super toll

The hot water in my bathroom - the shower and bath both failed to get hot (the sink was fine) which meant some quite cold showers! I didn’t mention anything, so I’m sure it would have been sorted I was just busy everyday.
• Lone-Mari Sørnes (10/5): Great boutique hotel - One of the best hotels I've stayed at. I love smaller boutique hotels, and this one didn't disappoint. Great location, clean rooms and great lobby and seating area outside. My favorite part of my stay was the excellent staff. The staff were very friendly and attentive and spoke very good English. When a tour company I had booked with cancelled my group tour to Chiang Rai the day-of, they quickly called a driver who then showed up at the hotel only 20 minutes later. I'm very grateful for this since it was my last day in Chiang Mai and only chance to experience Chiang Rai. They also saved a white denim jacket I managed to spill Khao Soi on through the cleaning service they offer. The jacket came back looking pristine. I'm very happy with my stay and would love to come back. -

The breakfast was also very good, and the laundry smelled great when it was returned. The location is excellent as well. If we ever return to Chiang Mai, I would book this place again. Super helpful and very friendly. The room is very comfortable. Spacious. Even the toilet is considered big. The whole hotel is clean also. Plenty of food around the hotel and food walking distance to temples and sights.

It looks better on the pictures than in reality. Also it’s very noisy because of the traffic. We ordered breakfast once. The eggs were so greasy and the taste of the coffee not great. After this experience we went to Goudsouls kitchen that’s just at the end of the street. They serve amazing breakfast (vegan) and great coffee. Last thing the hotel can easily change; even though they cleaned the room daily it was still very dusty. Most of the dust is in the curtains. It helps when they sometimes wash the curtains!

• Verified traveler (2/5): Sewage odor - First the staff is WONDERFUL.... the problem is the property itself... the location is good but that's where it ends. The room has sewage odor emanating ALL the time. I'm glad I stayed just 1 night. Had a hard time breathing could not sleep all night! Stay away from Room 401. We stayed at other properties during our visit and had no such issue in old town. Also if you get a road facing room you will get traffic noise.
• ninacM1290VD (8/5): Sleepless in Chiang Mai - Hugely surprised by this fresh, clean and spacious little hotel. Very friendly welcome by staff, too. Room looks brand new and was much larger than expected. But, and this is a big but: almost impossible to sleep through the street noise. I was on the top floor, farthest away from the street but had to squeeze pillows over my ears. Such a shame, loved everything else about it.

• Y3887XZrobynw (10/5): Amazing!! - Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I was expecting a budget hotel based on other reviews, but this was quite nice especially considering the price. The staff were kind and accommodating. The room was very nice, large, and clean. Hotel is in a good location, walkable area. Traffic is audible but not enough to keep me awake/be a problem and I am a medium sleeper. They do have a small dog and a few cats at this hotel but I enjoyed seeing the animals everyday, they were in their own section. Lovely breakfast. Would definitely recommend!!!

• Jamie (10/5): Fantastic stay! - This charming boutique hotel was the perfect place to base our stay in Chiang Mai. The room was spotless and comfortable with lots of cute design features. The staff was so charming, friendly and helpful! They helped us arrange a private driver for a trip we wanted to do and never failed to greet us and make sure we had everything we needed. As animal lover, a big bonus for me were the two small kitties who would play in the lounge plus an adorable French bulldog who loved getting pets. ❤️

• Matthias (10/5): Hilarious! - Probably one of the best hotels we had chosen to date, and all that as the staff was truly exceptional. We were lucky enough to be invited for a hilarious Christmas party. Oh boy, they know how to celebrate!! The hotel itself was good, nothing exceptional, but well located in the old town of Chiang Mai. A strong recommendation! A bit noisy external air con we could hear but not stop.

And quality of bathroom poor. Shower rose falling off, shower door didn't close properly and couldn't get hot water (warm shower). Didn't have sofa bed for children as per our booking, and tried to charge us more for putting one in! Had dog and cat that were inside at all times in cafe/reception. Dog scared my son as growled at him.

The location was also great - its in the old town so we went to the tamples and markets by foot, but it's also in the direction of doy sudep and nimman neighborhoods so it was closer to get there as Well (once we were in Nimman neighborhood and we saw a taxi will take a few minutes, so we just went back by foot). But the absolute BEST part in the hotel were the staff. And by staff I mean both the people in reception and Soju the French bulldog and the cats. It felt like Gome in the best way, sweet animals are greeting you, people are interested in your day. I stayed in the room a lot as I was sick and when I came to the lobby to bring some more tea someone (the hotel manager/owner?) saw me, ran to the kitchen and brought me a fresh pastry, another time the receptionist saw I wasnt feeling well and offered to make me tea (in the complimentary station, just to help me). This hotel has a special place in my heart, I really hope I'll go back there soon.

We were traveling from the USA and did quite a bit of research on accommodations in Chiang Mai and settled on this one due to the positive reviews. The room and the hotel were very clean, and the rooms are exactly as shown in the pictures. The location in Old City is great and within walking distance to most areas within the Old City area. The staff is exceptional and went above and beyond to support us with any travel-related inquiries and assistance. Highly recommend if you are considering a stay in Chiang Mai.

The staff couldn't have been more welcoming, happy to help with recommendations, answer questions and assist in booking transport from the airport (even in the very early hours of the morning!). The rooms were lovely and clean, much bigger than I expected. Absolutely no complaints.

• S9451LKamyt (10/5): Lovely, friendly hotel - We ended up staying at 9 Suite for a month in October 2022. The rooms are spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The staff are absolutely lovely, always happy to help and have a chat. We had some drama with a last minute flight cancellation and a rush to extend our visa, they went the extra mile to ensure our forms were filled in and we had all the accommodation evidence we needed for immigration. There are 2 cats and a dog on site, which of course aren't allowed in the rooms. They stay in the hotel lobby. For me this was a bonus because I got to play with them everytime I walked in and out of the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel, its a great base for exploring Chiang Mai and you'll be made to feel very welcome! We'll definitely stay here again if we're ever back in Chiang Mai.

Location was quite good but I think there are better locations even though it is in the old town city center. if you don’t like to walk you need to consider grab/tuck tuck to move around.

• Anna (10/5): Vibe of the family hotel and service of a 5* hotel - This place combines the vibe of the family hotel - super friendly people, cute pets walking around - and 5star hotel service. All the nitty-gritty details that create the feeling of comfort stay are there. Take this small detail: all the sharp edges of the furniture (table, for example) are covered with rubber. There is enough space for suitcases. The room was exceptionally clean and it was made every day. Besides, it was very quiet there. Super nice tiny garden outside. Free drinks and fruits in the lounge zone. Great location in the city center with nice cafes and massage places around. -
