Guest Reviews
- Joel (10/5): - Nice beach front view, quiet and staff are very friendly, very clean and big rooms and with included breakfast you can’t beat the price. The place is very close to the port and to El Nido center. If I go back to El Nido again I will book this again.
- DAEGYEONG (8/5): - 직원이 매우 친절하고 편안하고 여유로운 풍경
- Verified traveler (2/5): - No front desk, really filthy, terrible beds, and unattentive staff.
- Mercedes (2/5): - The worst hotel that I ever stayed
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent staff! So welcoming and kind. Went above and beyond
- Verified traveler (4/5): - That it’s very close to the beach and It’s walking distance to the shops and restaurant.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Location did not have a room for us available, tried to have us stay in a room-for-rent location next door that was small, had no towels/soap/etc, had ants all over the beds. We were forced to rebook a hotel at a different location. Provided a very difficult experience.
- Virginia (8/5): Just a place to stay in El Nido - My husband and I stayed in this pension place for 4 nights. Overall, good place - that if you are not a picky customer. We ordered most of our dinner here. Food was really good but very pricey (well, it is all over El Nido!). We had free breakfast. The best breakfast!
The ladies/crew cleaned up our room daily, which is nice.
The place needs updating especially the bathroom - we had hot/cold shower, though. We brought our own toiletries but you could always asked from then.
The best thing about this establishment is the superb views of the island. The picturesque views of sunrise and sunset, you can get it great here. It is right on the beach but there is no way one could swim in the filthy water (not the fault of the establishment). You pictures you take from this location/hotel are postcard perfect!
There is a tour agency right next to this hotel where you could book for island hopping tour.
Going to the hotel from the bus/van terminal - just take a trike, but you will not be taken all the way to this hotel. Not good if you carry too much luggage. Going back- they were very helpful taking our luggages up to the place where you can get a trike to the bus terminal.
- Peter (8/5): - Ñice staff but no housekeeping
You had to bucket water into the toilet cistern to flush it .The hotel is badly in need of an upgrade.
- Wayne (4/5): - Good location but no service.
- Verified traveler (2/5): very dirty, very noisy - Its very dirty ans very noisy because of the road for the scotter on front off thé hotel
- Verified traveler (6/5): Great view but... - No daily clean room service, no shampoo/soap. Bad to none internet, room need update (mosquito net, shower, closet, light bolts) No accesible to arrive (only walking)
No all negative: Superb view, good breakfast (but should serve earlier than 7:30 am since the time for tours are at 8:00 am
If you are K with a bit of discomfort to compensate with the view go for it
- Renata (8/5): Simple nice pension with a beautiful view! - It's a budget pension, everything very simple, but the bed was ok and the shower had hot water. The view is amazing and it's pretty close to the other restaurants and bars, and about 10 minutes walk from the port. They had American breakfast with fruits, one egg, bacon, bread, jam and coffee. Overall stay was good.
- Helen (6/5): Cheap option in El Nido - The view from my room was spectacular, this is the best thing about the resort. Also the breakfast was decent and the staff are very sweet. However the toilet didn't work, the shower was held together with tape, and there was no wifi. I'd suggest investing in a globe sim card and load it with data anyway in El Nido so you can use your own wifi, as even in other places it doesn't work well. The location was ok, despite being away from bars and restaurants the walls are paper thin so it is noisy as you can hear everyone around you. They didn't clean my room at all the whole time I was there.
- Eugenia (8/5): - Nice view, sunrise and sunset on the sea. With restaurant within, you don’t have to go far look for one, good food.
- Cal (8/5): Nice town, little bit noisy, good room - The Corner is pretty nice. El Nido is a cool little town that likes to party and so it's a bit noisy at night and whenever the dogs feel like it. Room is ok, upstairs is nicer than downstairs. Food is decent but better options in town especially off the beach. Internet sucks, but the internet sucks everywhere in El Nido so don't plan on it working at all ever. All in all pretty good spot.
- Christine (8/5): Budget friendly, close to restos, on the beach - Just keep in mind that this is a budget friendly hotel and you’ll be fine. There’s air conditioning and hot water and WiFi in the restaurant. The bathroom is a little rough if you’re used to staying at nicer places. The best part of this place was the very friendly owner who gave us great recommendations and the onsite restaurant and bar which was a lifesaver after a long day of tours. The food at the restaurant was great. There wasn’t anything we ordered that we didn’t like. The location is amazing. On the beach (although you can’t swim at this dog riddled beach) and close to tons of other restos, bars, and tour businesses. I loved being able to walk to the boats where our tours left from. Overall a good stay.
