• Aidhne (10/5): A beautiful apartment with everything you could need in a fantastic city. - It was perfect for our trip. It had absolutely everything we could need, we really appreciated the washing pods for the clothes. Not really something that wasn’t liked, but I personally would have liked shampoo and conditioner for the shower but that is the only small thing I could say.

• Michael (10/5): Luxury class, a clear recommendation - Own underground carpark with remote for the gate and more than enough room to park a larger SUV like BMW X1. Elevator directly to the apartment.

Location is good and there’s many restaurants nearby as well as a walking distance to the old town. The apartment itself was very spacious and clean, corresponds the pictures. The host was very helpful.

Apartment very clean, spacious and comfortable. 2 safety boxes provided for valuables, plenty of towels, kitchenware and large screen to in living room. Large seating area on balcony for afternoon sun and glass of wine after good day walking. 20 minute walk either side to both old and new town, not a problem for us, lovely stroll past port or top by casino and park. Small supermarket at top of road for any groceries or larger supermarket 10 minute walk to shopping centre with larger variety. Going home!

• Jue Xiang (10/5): Great stay - would totally book again if we revisit Madeira & will recommend to our friends! - Lovely flat: spacious feel, nicely decorated, comfy, with great amenities (fully equipped kitchen incl. coffee machine, fridge / freezer, laundry, etc). It's a 4th floor apartment (small elevator available). Marcos was super responsive, met us at the flat to hand over the keys, and since there were no other guests on our check-in/out day, also allowed us to check in early & check out late. The location is fantastic, you can see the sea from the balcony, have a small supermarket just a few steps away, lots of good restaurants down the road, a bus stop nearby, and you're essentially neighbours with CR7 ;). The Casino Park hotel next door also offers a decent breakfast buffet with a view for 16 EUR (for non-guests). - FYI, you'll need a bit of stamina as everywhere in Madeira given the surrounding streets have quite a bit of an incline! Minor: wifi is very weak in the en-suite bedroom (could not get signal on our phones, but ok on laptops). Works well in the living room where the router sits.
• Ieva (10/5): - Excellent location, spatious apartment with a great balcony with an ocean view. Small supermarket just across the street, many restaurants around. We did not use kitchen much, but there is everything you need. Loved that there is a washing machine with a washing liquid provided, very convenient with a young child! If you dont want to make your own breakfast, we can recommend breakfast at the Pestana Casino Park hotel that is 1min walking distance from the apartment and costs 16€. -

• Lorella (9/5): - The apartment was lovely and exactly as described. Its location is convenient and quiet, with all essential services nearby. The host was kind, helpful, and very attentive. During our stay, there were renovation works in the apartment downstair — noise could be heard, but only after 9 a.m. and always managed respectfully. Perhaps due to the works, there was a slight sewer smell but nothing that affected the overall quality of the stay. Therefore, a very positive experience and I would recommend it again.

• Jonny (10/5): Great apartment would recommend! - Great place to stay during our hiking trip. Well equipped kitchen that we used daily, nice balcony to eat on too. Very spacious apartment which was super clean. Private parking space in a locked garage on site was a big bonus so your car is very secure. Nothing!
• Monica (10/5): Superb, clean, bright and modern. - The apartment truly matched up to the photos. It was clean, bright, modern and spacious and very comfortable for my friend and I staying there for 13 nights. It is in a good position for a pleasant 30 minute walk along the sea front to explore Funchal or to catch buses to other parts of the island. Lots of little extras were provided, such as pods for the washing machine, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and plenty of cloths and tea towels. We were pleased to have tea, coffee and sugar provided as well as oil, vinegar etc for our cooking. The apartment was cleaned and towels and linen changed halfway through our stay. Marcos met us at the apartment when we first arrived. He is a very nice young man and he acted promptly when we had a water leak in the en suite shower room at the start of our holiday. Plenty of hot water and the showers were nice and powerful. The only problem we had, and that was our problem because we're both quite short in stature, the kitchen cupboards are high and we had difficulty reaching the crockery. I solved this by standing on a chair and moving enough crockery for our requirements to a lower cupboard for the duration of our holiday.

• Susan (10/5): We had a wonderful stay for two weeks and wished we could have stayed for longer. We highly recommend this apartment and - Centrally located between the Old Town and the newer hotel district. Easy walking distance to many restaurants and shops along the seafront or the main streets Estrada de Monumental and Avenida do Infante. Apartment is very spacious, modern and comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen supplied with unlimited tea, coffee, and basic cooking essentials (oil, salt, pepper, sugar etc). A spacious sunny balcony to relax on after a full-day of hiking/touring. Tours picked up just at the corner so very convenient. We did not drive but parking is available in the garage. Host, Marcos, was very kind, accommodating, accessible and always responsive thus ensured our stay was safe and enjoyable. We were two friends travelling together and enjoyed having our own bedroom and bathroom while having a huge living, dining and kitchen space to hang out together. Nothing at all.
• Trevor (10/5): Excellent and well presented apartment - Great location close to restaurants and bars as well as being easy walking distance to Funchal itself. Nice sea view from the balcony as well. Very well equipped throughout and provided lots of basics such as toilet rolls, cleaning equipment, washer tablets etc. Even coffee provided on your entry! Owner was very good with communication and we took up the offer of transfers to the airport which were bang on time both ways. Very enjoyable stay here!

• Trevor (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely spacious apartment, super clean and newly renovated. Comfy chairs and beds. We liked the location, just a couple of minutes downhill to see which cruise ships were in each morning. Short walk uphill to several bars and restaurants and a bit further to the main road to pick up a bus in either direction. We loved walking down to the old town to eat each evening and getting the bus back up the hill. Nice sunny balcony (hot in the afternoons), with views over to the sea on one side. Parking in the basement if you have a car, though we didn't. Great communication from Marcos who picked us up from the airport and and dropped us back off. Going home!
