• Carole (7/5): A nice place, but the lack of an elevator makes it certain we will not visit again. - The rooms and location were wonderful. There was no elevator, and for older guests, one with severe rheumatoid arthritis and one with severe back pain, it was not a good choice.

• Mario (4/5): Nicht zu empfehlen - Die Lage war gut. Das Zimmer in Größe und Ausstattung passt auf keinen Fall zum Preis. Der angegebene Schrank war nicht da, der Sanitärbereich ist durch eine absolut hellhörige Wand abgetrennt und den Wasserkocher haben wir durch Zufall auf dem Gang entdeckt.

• Jens (8/5): Es war eine sehr gute und freundliche Atmoshäre. - Sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und reichhaltig. Die Lage ist top, Parkhaus und Bahnhof schnell erreichbar. Die Zimmer waren zwar klein aber dafür sehr sauber. Das es nur eine Toilette und eine Dusche im Flur gab für mehrere Zimmer war in unseren Augen nicht optimal. Das Waschbecken im Zimmer war extrem niedrig und zur Körperpflege nicht optimal von der Höhe.

• Gabor (10/5): Affordable and comfortable hotel in the old town of Chur. - Very nice and comffortable hotel in the old part of Chur. I had a single room with one bed, bathtub, desk, chair, view on the other old houses. Hotels in Switzerland are super expensive, so I decided to take a room with shared bathroom and toilet, but both were super clean, and it seemed that I was the only one using them. The bathtub in the room was still a big plus. The room was relatively big, the bed was very comfortable, the view from the room was very nice. There is a bar on the ground floor, the hotel restaurant and the reception on the next floor and my room was on the floor above the restaurant. The communication was great, very friendyl service. The breakfast is basic, but fresh and enough and the coffee was very good. The location is fantastic in the heart of the old town. Chur is very nice.

Our room was in the 3rd floor and we had to carry our heavy luggage all the way up and down. The bathroom was very small, and it stank. The room was also not too big and the hotel looks very outdated.

• Tanya (8/5): Great location for old town - Location was amazing. 10 mins walk from the station in the old town. WiFi speed was incredible and beds ok and breakfast ok. I felt it was pricey for what it was but by Swiss standards it was probably fairly priced. Sloping roof in room made it hard for my husband to get in and out of bed on his side. There was also significant building works to a neighbouring building which I appreciate our host has no control over. No lift which was my bad as it did say and distinct lack of plugs in the room however the boat had provided a multiple port usb an and c plug board in an effort to compensate which was appreciated.

Das Frühstück war klein, aber fein. Das Abendessen war extrem lecker und man konnte auch zu einem vernünftigen Preis essen, die Karte war nicht riesig, aber es hat für alle etwas (Fleisch, Vegi und Vegan). Es war laut, man hörte alles vom Gang, aber da das Restaurant abends nicht ewig offen hatte, war es für mich absolut ok.

• Nat (8/5): A beautiful quaint hotel - A lovely comfortable basic room. The breakfast was so lovely with various options. The waiter was lovely & very accommodating. :) The room was clean, comfy and felt secure (female solo traveller). Location was great, once I found my bearings I walked around. A 10min (not even that)walk from Chur station or minutes from Chur Altstadt station. Chur is a beautiful little place with some beautiful sights. I would recommend this hotel such a hidden gem. A lovely relaxed stay, thanks. I did have a little trouble finding it. I didn't have a local sim so relied on other ppl trying to help/tell me. I did eventually find 'street' public wifi, as soon as I joined that, I found it, no problem.
