Guest Reviews
- Brad (5/5): Clean. Everything worked good - Clean and location was good The walls are paper thin and could hear the people in rooms next to us like they were in our room
- Amanda (10/5): The price reflects the value. The rooms have been taken excellent care of. That matters! - The rooms are spacious and smoke free!
- Mike (1/5): bring a tent - the grounds outside were clean and well maintained drains clogged. totally. dead bolt lock locked me in, could not release it. and above all, the heat didn't work. i legit tried to see if i could see my breathe in the morning. the thermostat did nothing

- Jon (8/5): Very relaxing - Very nice I like it there
- Jared (6/5): -
- Katrina-Rose (7/5): - Very easy to find , had everything I needed Everything was just alittle outdated but great for what I needed
- Myers (9/5): -
- Atia (9/5): Exceeded Expectations - The room was huge! She's a bit older but such a cute space. I loved the turn down service although I wish there was a sign to indicate I didn't need it so I didn't waste anyone's time. Key turn in is posted outside so I didn't even have to talk to anybody, everything was clean, the tv had multiple channels that all worked, and the Wi-Fi (although finicky during certain points of the day) was exactly what I stayed in the hotel for. My favorite part was how hot the shower got, it's rare that I find a place that gets as hot as I like it, haha. Overall I had a wonderful stay and hope to return again soon! Sign to indicate turndown service isnt needed/necessary; stocked body wash/shampoo/ conditioner would have been appreciated too 😊

- Angela (10/5): - So clean and spacious. Bathroom was tight, but that wasn't an issue.
- Jeffrey (6/5): Clean but worn. - About the only option. Room is very dated. Old furnishings. Bedding was minimal.
- Matthew (10/5): - Best hotel in Preston!
- Leslie (10/5): - Definitely older but cared for.
- David (10/5): - Friendly staff, nice facility, convenient location
- Jared (10/5): - Would stay here again
- Karen (8/5): -
- Phil (8/5): -
- Beverly (8/5): - My only complaint was the bed was EXTRAAAAAA squeaky. Other than that clean property, nice staff and conveniently located, although in Preston it's hard to not be close to everything. Motel was old but it seems my rooms was updated with laminate flooring which was nice. My other room had carpet. Would stay here again.
- Mel (10/5): - Good value for the money. Clean, quiet and very nice.
- Dawn (8/5): - I didnt care for the stinky room and crusty carpet
- Kiryl (10/5): -
- Kurt (8/5): - Basic old motel. It was clean and quiet. The room had a nice sized fridge.
- Kaubi (8/5): -
- Daniel (10/5): - Picnic area was great for our grandchildren
- Kevin (10/5): - We really liked this place. Kim was awesome checking us in. The room was rustic in a great way. It was clean. Bed was super comfy. Fridge was large with seperate freezer space. I would most definitely come back and stay here.
- Annie (10/5): - We always go here and love that its clean and quiet.
- John (10/5): - The hotel is obviously old, but it is clean and the staff is friendly. I’ve stayed here twice now and both times have been very pleasant.
- Stephen (10/5): - Great staff
- Jeffrey (10/5): - Easy access and parking. Good night's sleep.
- Garrhett (10/5): - Really loved the pillows, the room was super clean
- Camilla (7/5): Good -
- estrellita (8/5): - It was ok for a night’s stay. A little outdated but clean.
- Candace (10/5): - Great quick night for our family before a bike ride. Thanks!
- Krystal (9/5): Superb - Cozy interior decorating. Quiet. Spacious. If you’re not up by 9/930a you get a hard knock on your door. They asked if doing early checkout. (it was a Godsend for us, but for others..)
- Lorna (10/5): Convenient, safe and affordable. - The location was perfect for my destination. Easy to find and near some eateries and a grocery store. The room was clean and had everything I needed. The staff was very kind and helpful. Ample parking. I cannot think of anything that I would change.
- Jeff (8/5): Very good -
- Natalka (8/5): - Excellent place to stay but too far from our main road for us. Nice big room with excellent lighting. Great little coffee maker. Nice big fridge for people like us who travel with food from one home to another (snowbirds). Table and 2 nice chairs to have dinner and breakfastin in the room-which we do. Lots of counter space by the sink. Love the 2 black "makeup" facecloths which I also used to wash dishes and wipe up any spills on the floor.
Could be a bit cheaper and a low flush toilet should be installed to save our precious water.
- Jera (10/5): - I was on a personal trip to see a friend the hotel room and service was great i eould recommend it and stay there again
- Ronson (10/5): Exceptional -
- Molly Jo (10/5): - The classic Plaza proves itself the perfect local stay. Nostalgic, convenient to town, clean, easy check-in and courteous staff.
- Nancy (10/5): - Motel was clean
- Karl (9/5): Superb -
- James (9/5): Great stay, but still slightly pricey. - Room was clean, good shower, nice TV. Stayed for 3 nights and didn't have any issues. Over $100 a night for a motel in a small town feels like a bit of a high amount, especially when considering no breakfast. However it is the only hotel/motel in town and I refuse to use airbnbs or the like so Plaza Motel has the market.
- Crystal (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joelynn (8/5): Very good -
- Rhett (10/5): Exceptional - Very personal and inviting. Personable
Had grandkids and they enjoyed the stay.
- Colette (6/5): - This is the only hotel in Preston. The room was clean, bed comfortable, but room very dated, it's actually a little charming and retro. If you're just passing through, it's fine. Would stay there again.
- Natalka (8/5): - Nice big room. More attention needs to be paid to renos like new windows and I believe there needs to be more done to improve saving water, though I'm not positive if they had low flush toilets and shower and hot water on demand.
- Vickie (10/5): - I would definately stay here again!! From check-in to check-out the ladies were VERY nice. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and QUIET! We had a dog with us, there were dogs on both sides of us, and you couldnt even tell-not a peep. In fact, when i took a shower, my husband didnt even hear it! Very nice place!!
- Denise (9/5): The room was very cozy and it was a very nice stay. - It’s was easy to get to the room Housekeeping came early (well before check out time) and just opened the door.
- Amanda (10/5): - The property seemed well kept up overall and I was very satisfied with my stay!
- Ignacio (8/5): - The WIFI went out so the tv wouldn't work in the morning.
- Rebecca (10/5): It was a pleasant experience, as always. - The location was great, only 8 blocks from our son's house. We've stayed twice now and have liked the motel very much.
- Joe (4/5): Nicole spent hours on the TV, but sucked. I said just go home. - Cleanliness. TV did not work well
- Gersen (7/5): A comfortable, basic, no frills place to stay. - This is a basic 1960-70 motel... it could use a few more outlets give today's technology and the coffee/tea maker was a bit outdated but we've stayed her on several occasions and find that it meets our needs. As noted above, there could be more accessible outlets and plugs for phones and computers... and the coffee maker was deficient but operable. The lighting over the bathroom sink made shaving a bit of a challenge.
- Laurie (8/5): Very good - Clean and quiet. Mattresses need to be replaced.
- Mark (8/5): - Very clean. Very nice for an older motel. Well kept up and room and bed was nice. Really great place for the price.
- John (10/5): - Really clean and quiet. 1 story and parking right outside your room. No smoke smell.
- Jon (6/5): - Fairly clean motel in Preston. Great place to stay. Needs a little work, but mostly good.
- Allyson (10/5): - Nothing fancy but rooms were super clean, bed was comfy, area around was safe. Staff was super nice gave a great recommendation on a Pizza place. We will definitely stay here again.
- Christopher (3/5): Take a chance, you might get a good room. - Room was clean Ac didn't work. TV satellite didn't work. Coffee pot didn't work properly. Furniture is falling apart. Cut my hand on the nightstand due to the broken edge. Mattress needs to be replaced, sags in the middle. Stairs in desperate need of repair. Metal flaking off, landing on the sidewalk below. We asked for a partial refund because we had to stay (no other hotel in town). I never heard back from them.
- Jessica (10/5): - I always enjoy staying at the Plaza Inn.
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional - Staff went above and beyond to accommodate room request. Got us a ground floor and put friendly room.
- Rhonda (10/5): - Room was clean. Had microwave and refrigerator. Plenty of parking. Staff were all very nice.
- Jason (5/5): Meh - I woke up alive...twice. That made me happy. Waking up dead wouldn't make me happy, although my wife might be kinda happy because she'd be kinda rich because of my life insurance. (TMI). The staff was not like Californians, so that was a plus. They were HUMAN, and helpful. Breakfast? None...but it's a MOTEL, so that's to be expected. It was far cheaper than anything around Univ of Utah at Logan. I am dubious of how clean it was. I am itchy. I have no idea what bedbugs look like, so I can't say, but I am itchy.
- Jennifer (8/5): - This motel is very outdated but it looks like the're working on some upgrades. Despite this, it was decently clean from what I could tell but a little hard when everything was dark brown. The stairs up seemed a litte unsafe as they were rusty and sharp edges were sticking out. The front desk person was very nice but took a while getting checked in as the internet was down. All in all a good place to get some shut eye but nothing to write home about.
- Christopher (4/5): Think twice - House cleaning Staff were nice. Tv satellite didn't work. Coffee pot didn't work properly. Bed sags in the middle. NO AC. We were told ac would be replaced during our stay, Nope never happened. Owner said she figured we'd be fine with no AC because older people like their homes very warm, Not us. Don't assume. Furniture in Need of replacing due to broken pieces. We've stayed here several times over the years, but unfortunately, the place is falling apart due to disrepair. The stairs to the upper rooms are not safe to walk up, IMO. The rusted metal is flaking off to the lower level for people to get hit with or step on. We asked for a partial refund because we ended up staying, no other motel nearby, We've decided in the future to stay in another town even though we'll need to drive the extra 60 miles round trip
- Darrellyn (9/5): Superb -
- BRIAN (10/5): - Some of the best beds I've slept on in quite some time
- Stephen (10/5): - Great motel with great clean rooms
- David (10/5): - Easy check-in, convenient parking
- Jacob (8/5): - Clean, good a.c.
- Teresa (8/5): - Convince for what we were doing in Preston and we were able to check in early
- Tamber (10/5): - Very nice motel for an overnight stay green areas fairly comfortable beds clean bathroom
- ARIELLE (10/5): Clean, safe and comfy - The place is dated but so clean and comfy. Beds and pillows are 10/10!
Single female, stayed by myself, never felt unsafe and I was going and coming from Sandy's Haven (wildlife refuge, 8 mins away) at all odd hours of the night, zero issues.
It's next to the bowling alley from Napoleon Dynamite and a 7 min drive to the Napoleon Dynamite house too, so that was a fun find!
Room had a TV, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer, free wifi, iron and ironing board, plus there's a vending machine and ice machine on site.
Clean, safe, comfy stay.
- Karene (6/5): - Nice owners. They were helpful. Place was kinda dirty, or stained. Needs new carpet and paint...
- Sharon (10/5): - It’s an older motel, but it was clean and had everything we needed.
- Luzdivina (10/5): - Easy access in to town
- Angela (10/5): This was the most restful hotel stay that I have had in a very long time! - It is quaint and incredibly comfortable. I had all the amenities that I needed. The staff was very pleasant. Even when the train was going by, it was extremely quiet in the room. Highly recommend!! Nothing
- Janiel (6/5): - I stayed here just a few weeks ago. Not sure if I was more tired or the bed was more comfortable. Better night sleep the 2nd time around.
- Rachel (8/5): Very good -
- Brent (6/5): - The motel room is spacious and clean but very outdated.
- Linda (8/5): Very good - I was in town for a vet tech fast track lab at Sandy’s Haven. Plaza hotel was located very close and easy to get to Sandy’s Haven. The price was the cheaper or equal to air BnBs I had looked into. Room was clean, had a small fridge, microwave, plenty of clean towels and washcloths, directv, bed and pillows were comfortable, and there is a separate heat/ac/fan unit. I felt safe staying there as a female traveling alone. Plenty of charging options for phone and other electronics. Only small dislike is my room was right next to the staff cleaning/laundry area. So there was a lot of activity/noise/conversations happening right next to and in front of my room. But I realize the staff has a job to do. Overall I had a very nice stay.
- Robin (10/5): - A great place!! Very clean, friendly and easy to find!
- Uff (10/5): A great place!! - The bed was extremely comfortable; loved the different sizes of pillows.... even though decor was old, it was well kept!! Liked the 70's vibe!!
- Jon (6/5): Pleasant -
- Janiel (4/5): - Older motel that has had a few updates. Not overly sound proof, can hear voices from other rooms.
- sterling (10/5): - Convenient location.
- Shylow (10/5): Nice place to sleep. - Clean inexpensive hotel.
- Suzanne (6/5): - It was a great stay at the plaza.
- Charles (6/5): While it took a while to drive to Preston from I-15, I feel like it was worthwhile for the motel’s price point, comfort, - Less expensive than Pocatello or Ogden motels.
Quiet location. Could use some maintenance upgrades.
- David (8/5): - Older property in decent condition. Comfortable
- Jon (6/5): Pleasant -
