• ALESSANDRO (4/5): Soluzione deludente - Prezzo elevato - Host inadeguato - L'appartamento si trova al terzo piano sottotetto e l'ascensore era rotto, per nulla comodo con le borse. Non è presente una doccia ma una vasca che finge, male, di essere una doccia. Il riscaldamento è ad aria, ed emette piuttosto frequentemente uno sgradevole rumore, anche durante la notte. Il tavolo si accompagna a due sedie, che oltre a essere di rara bruttezza sono terribilmente scomode. Il tetto che incombe su tutto l'appartamento è colonizzato da decine di piccioni che oltre a essere molto rumorosi (il tetto evidentemente non è isolato) depositano i loro bisogni sul terrazzino frontistante. La parete che affaccia sul terrazzo è interamente vetrata ma le tende che dovrebbero garantire oscurità e privacy, per qualche oscura ragione, non sono continue, tanto da permettere ai vicini curiosi di sbirciare senza fatica all'interno. La colazione è molto essenziale e mi è stata portata da una signora che non ha avuto l'accortezza di proteggere la tazza con il cappuccino dalle intemperie della giornata, senza alcun riguardo all'igiene. La proprietà si è dimostrata molto poco propensa a soddisfare le mie lecite richieste. Sono infatti riuscito solo dopo numerosi tentativi a ottenere la ricevuta di quanto speso; peccato che fosse in parte illeggibile. Una delusione totale. Sconsiglio vivamente soprattutto in relazione al prezzo pagato.

• Sara (8/5): Charming stay in Crema - The welcoming was warm and friendly. The room was basically an apartment, so much space! I loved the common terrace where I could have breakfast. The location is right in the middle of Crema, so very convenient. The bedroom didn't have curtains. The location is right in front of a church and the bells ring around every 15 minutes. Having ear plugs as amenities would be a great addition. I would improve the quality of the mattress.

• Lee (8/5): Great place in the centre of a medium sized town perfect for couples or business trips - Rooms were very warm. You certainly would never be cold here. They brought us a nice little italian breakfast of pastries, yoghurt and fruit in the morning. Sofa bed I slept on was a little hard.

Highly recommend. - Loved it - rooms are huge, bathroom shower was very strong, lots of towels, comfy bed and pillows and they bring a breakfast to your room whenever you want! Really great service. We were there for a wedding and Vincent sorted us taxis with ease. Location is amazing - right in centre of Crema. Rooftop area is really cool - room to drink and eat outside if you fancy it. Nothing!

The lady who checked us in and served breakfast was extremely friendly and caring. Our apartment was not available because of a technical problem but she came up with a solution. The lift did not work It was noisy in the evening on the streets downstairs but we did not care much. The cleaning ladies who passed by were hostile. They did not greet and made a very grumpy face. Probably nothing to do with us but very unprofessional anyway. The plant tubs on the terrace would have to be disposed of. Not a pretty sight.

• World Traveler 66 (8/5): Cool hotel in a great location - Location was great, and the room was spacious. The lift was broken during my visit. The host was apologetic and kind, but my luggage was heavy and I recently hurt my back prior to my holiday.

• Matthew (10/5): Lovely but be proactive about how you check-in - Our room (Chicago) was a spacious, clean, and welcoming suite, overlooking the streets of Crema and facing a church (note: bells begin around 7am). The decor blends modern comfort with traditional Italian charm, highlighted by wooden beams and doors opening to a picturesque view. Do take care with rugs on wooden floors, as they can slip easily. Breakfast, delivered to the room, was excellent—a generous spread of fresh fruit, bread, croissants, jams, juices, tea, and coffee. B&B San Clemente is perfectly located in the heart of Crema, just steps from shops, restaurants, and historic landmarks. Fans of Call Me By Your Name will enjoy nearby filming locations, and the train station is only a 15-minute walk. Be aware: Access can be tricky if you arrive unannounced. Confirm your arrival time as instructed in your booking, as we still waited outside about 15 minutes despite doing so. Unlike hotels, you cannot simply walk in. Once checked in, the host was warm and welcoming. We were also given a different check-out time than listed on our Hotels.com confirmation. Overall, despite a couple of small points to improve, our stay was delightful. San Clemente is an excellent base for exploring Crema and a highly recommended choice.
• Nicola (2/5): Would not go again - The staff were friendly We booked the suite (the chicago) but got a double room (the marrakech) for a mother and teenage daughter this was far from ideal, and not what I had paid for! They did give a camp bed for my daughter and a free meal at a resteraunt (however this did not cover the price difference of the rooms) but there is no privacy for having a shower as that is in the room not the bathroom. They door on the shower did not close properly, resulting in a very wet floor right up to the bed. The air conditioning didn't work properly and the lift was also out of order. The room had a musty smell when entering, which must be from the flooding of the shower. Must also add despite many attempts of contacting booking.com about this I have received no communication from them. As they were the ones who I paid for the room, they should be compensating us for it. I won't be using them again nor will I be staying at San Clemente again.

It wasn’t an issue for us however there are quite a few stairs to get up to the apartment. There is a lift you can put your bags in but it is very slow - not accessible for older people or those with accessibility issues.

• Shhh (10/5): Wonderful. - The accomadation is in wonderful location, evertwhere is pretty much in walking distance, while the room is still spacious and quiet. Beware that the elevator in the accommodation is very slow. Honestly everything is great, except it is a bit low in the ceiling.

Unfortunately, we got stranded in Crema due to a national train strike, but the hotel owner was incredibly helpful and arranged a taxi for us to the airport, ensuring we got home safely. Thank you so much for everything! Oh, and the breakfast? That alone was worth five stars. "...Later!" Everything was perfect! The only thing that would have made it even better was a lighter to light all the candles that were thoughtfully prepared for us.

Breakfast is a plus, which is served in the room. if you travel to Crema by train, it takes about 20 minutes to walk to the apartment: the train station is located north of the city center, while the apartment is south of it, meaning you need to cross the old town to get there. It will be more convenient for those traveling by car, there is a big car park nearby. The setup feels like a hotel more than B&B, facilities are basic and somehow limited, only a kettle and some cups, no fridge and microwave. The shower experience: the hot water ran out in the halfway through my daughter's shower, and she had to finish with cold water, leaving her shivering (this was during winter). Additionally, the shower is in the bedroom with fully transparent glass and no curtains for privacy, which could be an issue if you're staying with children or friends. There was an unpleasant smell coming from the toilet or shower drain. The wifi connection is not stable and weak in the sleeping area, meaning that you can't use internet comfortably from the bed.

Obwohl in der ZTL (Einfahrtsverbot für Unbefugte) gelegen sind es nur 100m zum nächsten kostenpflichtigen Partkplatz, so dass wir unser Gepäck ohne Probleme in das Appartement bringen konnten. Unser Appartement war sehr groß, ordentlich eingerichtet und sauber. Das Bad war auch gut eingerichtet. Leider war während unseres Aufenthalts die Klimaanlage etwas überfordert, was keine wirkliche Kritik sein soll. Die Außentemperaturen waren extrem, daher hätten wir uns über einen kleinen Kühlschrank gefreut. Das Frühstück entsprach italienischem Standart (Croissant, Brötchen, Obst, Saft und Kaffee). Insgesamt war es für uns die beste Wahl, Crema zu erkunden.
• Allan (8/5): Dejlige Crema - Perfekt beliggende til at udforske Crema. Fantastisk hjælpsomme og søde mennesker vi var i kontakt med. Dejlig stor lejlighed. Parkering er 2-3 minutters gang væk og er offentlig, men gratis. Ekstra sengen var meget hård, der manglede noget komfort. Morgenmaden serveres på værelset, eller på tagterrassen. Desværre er den, for danske standarder, mangelfuld. Det er dog svært at have det som kritik punkt, da det nok er meget typisk for italienere. Vil dog stadig anbefale stedet til alle som skal udforske Crema. Til dem som kommer grundet filmen “Call me by your name”, så fik vi oplyst at castet havde boet i denne Bed & Breakfast.

The apartment was spotless. The breakfast A+ as judged by my dietitian wife! Nothing. One of the loveliest places my family has ever stayed in.

Beautiful large breakfast every morning on the rooftop terrace and they had options for different milks for coffees (I have soya). Great location in the town and close to the main sights. Beds were comfortable and excellent light in the rooms. plenty of room for 2 adults to move around without feeling cramped. The top room got quite hot in afternoon sun though, so be prepared for that. The breakfast in the mornings was truly a delight!! Great stay and great host!!! Room got hot in afternoon sun

The Appartment is looking right at the church and the balcony is just above the main street, i enjoyed it very much. Breakfast was delivered to the room at the time I wished and was more the enough.
