Guest Reviews
- Anthony (6/5): - Maintenance could be cleaner
- Leroy (10/5): - The room was clean. Parking was fine. Staff was very attentive.
- Ken (10/5): - The owners were so nice and accommodating. The breakfast was certainly more than we expected. The owners were so welcoming, gracious and provided lots of great dinner restaurant options. Definitely would visit again.
- Joan (10/5): - Peaceful. Had everything we needed. Host wonderful and her son.
- Kathleen (8/5): - The staff was very friendly. The room was clean but was not stocked well with essentials. I bar of soap for sink and then we had to use same bar for the shower. No tissues which I thought was odd. No blowdryer. The rooms have no soundproofing. Our room was at top of stairs and we could hear everything being said in other rooms and in stairwell. Someone was playing music till 1:30am which we could hear. People in room next to us had some strange noise happening at 6am which woke us up and then again at after 10pm when we returned to the room. I brought it to the attention of the gentleman working and he did come up to listen. He knocked on the door several times and no one answered. It might’ve been a c-pap machine or snoring but the fact that we could hear it was too much. It was very hard to get a good nights sleep.
- Daniel (10/5): - Parking easy and safe, Staff very accommodating, very clean room, comfortable
- Suzan (10/5): - The owner is very nice and the experience overall was great
- Allyson (10/5): - We arrived late and our hostess greeted us warmly. We just had a lovely breakfast.
Very warm place🌻
- Amberlee (10/5): - Such a cute little hotel with a lot of charm and the owner is so wonderful.I will definitely be back. You're in town for a concert. This is the place to go
- Diana (8/5): - A charming hotel with its own style: old-fashioned in a good way, yet offering modern comforts like air conditioning, excellent bathrooms, and good internet. Peaceful, clean, and cozy, with lovely outdoor seating by the firepit under the stars.
- John (10/5): - Clean and great
- mary beth (10/5): Will be back - We enjoyed our stay and will return for any concerts at Bethel Woods that we may attend. Very welcoming!
- Mary (10/5): Our stay - Our stay was wonderful, the owners and staff are so friendly and accommodating. Having the shuttle that takes you to Bethel Woods is such a wonderful perk! We were served a delicious hot breakfast before we checked out. We love the old charm the place has. This is our 2nd stay.
- Tara (8/5): - Friendly staff. Clean room and comfy bed :). Close to Bethel Woods concert venue.
- Donald (10/5): - The kenoza Lakeview Inn was simply charming! The guest lobby area felt very comfortable. We were greeted by the proprietor, any couldn't have been more helpful in giving us recommendations for good restaurants in the area. The room was clean and spacious. And in the morning, we were provided a homemade breakfast by America. Wonderful place to go.
- RICHARD (10/5): Calm and Peaceful - We enjoyed our time at the inn we went to the nearby Bethel Woods center to see a concert which we took the hotel shuttle for an excellent, plus the staff was both friendly and accommodating. The grounds are well kept even back into the woods. The trails were clear very easy to walk. The overall atmosphere is calm and peaceful.
- Roxanne (10/5): - We stayed at Kenoza Lake View Manor for one night as we were watching The Black Keys in Bethel.
The hotel is a beautiful, quaint place and the customer service is excellent!
There is a shuttle bus available to Bethel Arts Centre which we would recommend using. The staff did everything to make our stay comfortable and relaxed, even taking us to Monticello Bus Station to get back to New York the next day.
Thank you for a wonderful stay
- Kenneth (10/5): - Shower head water pressure on low side. Everything else was great.
- Ryan (10/5): - They have a complimentary breakfast, but nothing diabetic friendly available. They have a great list of nearby restaurants witch helped us choose a dinner option and breakfast spot.
Hight notes, beautifully decorated building, beautifal landscape. Fire pits for nighttime comfort. All in all loved every bit of it!!
- Violet (10/5): - What a unique experience. That staff was amazing. The building and ground were beautiful. We will definitely stay here agiain to go to the bethel woods concert venue.
- David (8/5): - Beautiful building that is well maintained. The lobby and breakfast areas are warm, inviting and practical. Our room on the third floor (no elevators) is small, but the bed is comfortable and conditions are spotless. Outside wood fire pits are a nice touch.
- Teresa (10/5): Fabulous Inn - Beautiful old Inn stayed for the Cindy lauper show in Bethel 12 mint away. Its absolutely beautiful up there its where the original WOODSTOCK WAS. There is a museum and a huge lake..
- Roderick (10/5): - Very welcoming upon our arrival. We took advantage of the shuttle to Bethel Woods for the concert....very convenient.....had a nice continental breakfast spread in the am.....had a great experience!
- Toni (8/5): - We stayed here before when they first opened I believe 5 years ago and it was great. It is an older hotel like really old but they decorated it with quirky cool furnishings it’s just old period. But cool…first time we stayed there was complimentary breakfast that was amazing I still raved about the eggs florentine and thought they would have it but unfortunately it was a continental breakfast which was disappointing. It’s a great place to stay for concerts at Bethel Woods just dont expect anything fancy and the rooms are very small but the beds are very comfortable. Family run business very nice people.
- Laura (8/5): - I would recommend it to anyone staying in the area.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - such sweet family
- MARIAH (10/5): A Pleasant Morsel in the Woods - The building is a charming and homey bed and breakfast. The staff are extremely welcoming and excited to have guests. The breakfast is available as quick, pre-packaged grabs, or as a sit-down hot meal. Our room had an extremely soft bed, and internet was easy to connect to; no hoops to jump through or portals to sign up for. Parking is free and first come-first served. I would reccomend this spot to friends and others. My only recomendation to the managment would be to increase eco-friendliness where able.
- Diane (8/5): Pleasantly surprised, perfectly adequate stay! - Stayed overnight after attending a concert in Bethel Woods, which is 7 miles away (10 minute ride.) Checked in an hour early.. very nice, helpful, informative staff member when we arrived. Bed was comfy and clean soft sheets.bathroom adequate although I thought walls and doors needed a thorough wash over. TV should have been mounted on wall due to the obstructive poster bed . Lol
After the concert, when we arrived after midnight both the fire pits with surrounding chairs were burning nicely which was a really nice surprise. Host opened the doors for us ( waiting up !) lol
Very quiet place- slept well !
Breakfast- self seating around large dining room table .OK selection of pastries, croissants, , yogurts , oatmeals ,juices ,
Coffee , creamers , tea available. Eggs and ham cheese tortilla is you ask !
Again very nice friendly host lady
Suggestion : it would be so much better if they placed all the breakfast food onto the large buffet table (which held knickknacks and photos )
Instead of cramming it all on one side of the dining room table !
The grounds around the place had lots of seating with fire pits, swings and a small pond and walking trail !
Enjoyed this hotel and would stay again!!
- CAROL (10/5): - Great breakfast. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff.
- James (10/5): - It was very nice. Comfortable and nice. She was so friendly.
- Raquel (8/5): - Second stay there - nostalgic local that is very convenient to Bethel Woods concert venue. Family owned by delightful people.
- Laura (10/5): - We really enjoyed our stay at Kenoza Lake View Manor. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of our room and the king size bed- super comfy! The area around the manor is beautiful- be prepared that it is in a very hilly, mountainous area. We were in town for a concert at nearby Bethel Woods and although the weather wasn't great, we had a great time. Be aware ride-share options aren't really a thing in the area, but the hotel actually offered a round-trip shuttle, which we didn't use but thought it was awesome they offered it. The complimentary breakfast was also great. Would absolutely stay here again, and plan on it.
- Chris (2/5): - My wife and I wanted to like this place, since the service was impeccable, and the manor was very charming. The reviews were at least 4 out of a 5 rating, but they were misleading. When we got to our room, the first thing I noticed were a few dead flies on the floor . We were on our way to a concert at Bethel Woods and had to grab a quick dinner, so I couldn’t really focus on it. The place itself is old, which I don’t have an issue with, but I noticed the window ledges were dusty and the air conditioner even looked dirty. There was also an eyelash in the sink, which kinda made me wonder if it had been cleaned. We went to dinner and the concert and came back around 11:00pm and it had rained all day and night and we were standing in mud so I wanted to take a shower when we got back. That’s when I noticed what poor shape the shower and bathroom in general was in. Cracking paint, dusty ledges, and the floor in the shower stall was dirty looking because it is an older fiberglass model. There was a missing spout in the shower with blue painters tape on it, and the cheap caulk between the tiles was coming off. My wife and I were tired so we decided to sleep there without using the shower and just wake up the next morning and leave early. We woke the next morning and used the sink and toilet and the plumbing sounds like it has seen better days. So, unfortunately, the pictures online are taken from a distance and are a bit fuzzy, so we didn’t notice that things were not kept up.
- Tom (10/5): - If you are looking for a fun and quirky place to stay this is the place. The owners are amazingly nice. The accommodations are great. Breakfast was great.
- David (10/5): - We had a wonderful 9th Anniversary Valentines Day weekend at the Manor. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated. Our host, America, was so friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our morning chats over a healthy breakfast. We will definitely be back!
- John (10/5): - This is a family business
They are so warm, and welcoming Great healthy breakfast.
Get the vegetable omelette
Fresh abundant trays of fruit
Great coffee
Beautiful grounds
The rooms are warm, comfortable and large.
Will definitely come back again
Close to Woodstock

- Cindy Long (10/5): - Lovely property and grounds! Will stay there again the next time we're in the area.
- Arad (10/5): - Second time and definitely coming back
They made sure I have hot coffee at 4:30 in the morning
- Raquel (10/5): - What a lovely find. Whether you’re planning a seasonal visit for outdoorsy activities or looking for a comfortable place to stay for an event (Bethel Woods is 15 mins away) this is a delightful and charming retreat. Well priced, and extremely welcoming. Looking forward to staying there again when we are in the area.

- Arad (10/5): - The place is quiet and clean
- Xavier (8/5): - Great place with very nice owners
- Alison (10/5): - The property was private and out of the way. We werent sure what to expect but it was such a beautiful little place to stay. staff was so welcoming and hospitable. The rooms were huge! Would definitely stay here again
- kathleen (4/5): - The women who owns it is lovely. The property needs a lot of updating.
- Adam (10/5): - My girlfriend thought it was the cutiest place ever! We had a wonderful stay. We would love to come back!
- Denis (10/5): - Nic place but it’s only a guesthouse. Don’t expect a refrigerator in your room or a restaurant on site. Beautiful location and the grounds are beautiful. The yelping turkey in the morning was funny
- Christine D (8/5): - .
- Nicholas (10/5): - Jordan was wonderful for our weekend stay! We came up for a concert at Bethel Woods, but we would go back just for a relaxing weekend trip here!
- Jerry (10/5): - Very nice Inn close to Bethel Woods
- Jake (10/5): Great Spot Highly Recommend - Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Jordan that worked the front desk was beyond accommodating, he gave us a ride to and back from the concert we went to. He also saved me as i was locked out of my room after 1am. If I am ever back in town, this will be where I stay!
- Jonathan (2/5): Do NOT be fooled by old ratings and pictures!!! - I chose this manor for an overnight stay when seeing a show. Pictures nice online, seemed to be a place that was well preserved, old-time feel. Existing ratings were what sold me to book. Upon arriving, we realized this was NOT the case. The exterior is a bit rundown, to be expected for an older building. The lobby was okay. When we arrived to our room, we immediately noticed the room itself was legitimately lopsided. It was disorienting that the floor was slanted. Wasn’t sure if we were just imagining it so we did a test and sure enough things rolled down the slant. The bathroom seemed like it had only been cleaned at the surface, there was a lot of dust, hard water buildup and stains. It looks like they rarely deep clean on these rooms. Of course, no one expects a full deep clean between EVERY guest, but I didn’t think it was appropriate to deem the buildup and grime as fit for a stay at price I paid. Toilet didn’t flush. We let them know and they came up to “fix” it, later the same night, the same thing. Shower was leaking, we figured it was old and we had just ran it so hopefully it’d stop by the morning but it only got worse. And not just a small trickle, it was quite a bit leaking out of it… plumbing does not seem to be their strong suit. Beds are uncomfortable, SO MUCH DUST. If you want to make a noise complaint, get your shoes on because walls are PAPER thin and no phone in room. We were hoping the breakfast would redeem them Just warm juice, yogurt, and OK muffins.
- Douglas (10/5): - What an absolutely lovely spot! The hosts are wonderful and very appreciative of all the guests. They really embraced their location near the Bethel Woods venue. Highly recommended!
- Sandy (10/5): - A nice adults only inn for a quiet night of relaxation.
- Kristen (10/5): - The Kenoza Lake View Manor was gorgeous, quaint, clean and the staff was so friendly. I will definitely be recommending this property to all my friends and family if they’re in the area. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
- Eve (8/5): - Another great stay for our trip…thank you!!!
- Dorota (6/5): - While the staff was super friendly and helpful, the property has seen better days. It needs a scrub down. STAT! The location to Bethel Woods is convenient, only 15 min away.
- Allison (10/5): - The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly and very accommodating.
- Yunsan (10/5): Staff are the best - Staff was amazing and really make the place feel like home. I loved Jordain’s food guide - it was so handy and he knows everything about the place! The staff really make this place a gem out there thank you for everything - Jon and Nancy
- Giorgio (10/5): - Very quant and wonderful people
- Ann (4/5): Bad hotel stay - From the photos when I booked, it online seemed very nice, but they didn’t show any photos of the room when I got there. It was a lovely place, but the room was dirty. The bed was super uncomfortable, very lumpy and it sunk in the middle and I didn’t feel like we received any decent service.
- Rich (10/5): - The proprietors of the manor couldn't have been nicer. They were very professional in all aspects in our deals. They were very helpful in navigating the area. If in the area again, we would definitely stay at the Manor.
- steve (10/5): - Older Victorian with piles of charm and quirks. Bed was awesome. Check-in was easy. Very convenient to Bethel Woods and concerts.
- patti (8/5): - nice big room with windows that open--very quiet which is what i needed the most.
- Laura (10/5): Feels like you’re at home. Comfy & cozy - We were greeted very nicely upon arrival. The young man ( Charlie ?) was very friendly, kind, knowledgeable & helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much. Felt like we were home. We even saw a family of deer. We would most definitely come back. It’s close to Bethel Wood where we had gone.
- Wayne (4/5): - The wifi did not work and no hot water! We had to walk up 3 flights if stairs.
- Louisa (10/5): - perfect place to stay when going to a show at Bethel Woods!

We would definitely recommend!
- Kara (10/5): - Stayed over for a concert at Bethel Woods. Close to the venue, staff were super friendly, helpful and accommodating. We will definitely visit again.
- Misha (10/5): - Kenoza Lake View Manor is a charming hotel! It's quaint and it's rare to find places like this. The surrounding area is absolutely gorgeous, and they have walking trails through the woods on their property. The owners are so warm and welcoming. I highly recommend staying here!
- Stanley (10/5): - Must reach out and give tons of kudos to America. She’s like family. Makes you feel right at home. You get what you paid for. No bells and whistles. Just a very unique weekend getaway from the city. Will be doing this again.
- Sabino (6/5): - Overall a nice stay. Very friendly people but overpriced.
- EVA (8/5): - Nice older property with lots of character. Owners very accommodating
- robert (8/5): - Nice family that operates property however they need make improvements repaint interior/exterior however it was close to to the wedding venue
- Edward (10/5): Wonderful little inn, perfect for weekend getaway - What a wonderful little gem of an inn - located in a beautiful part of NYS! The family that runs the Kenoza Manor are simply the best - so friendly, accommodating and welcoming. Location is perfect for a show at Bethel and they even offer shuttle service to and fro if you ask. Highly recommend this place. Can't wait to return when we can spend more time (we were there for music festival). Can't even imagine how gorgeous it must be in the fall.
- Debbie (10/5): - Charming Inn, great location, & wonderful family
Breakfast was delicious & we really appreciated the shuttle to Bethel. We will definitely be back!
- Eve (8/5): - Welcoming staff and grounds; enjoyed the visit!
- Ryszard (10/5): - Super friendly staff
- FRANK (10/5): - Relaxing, safe, quiet location with amazing, service oriented owners.
- Jeffrey (6/5): Wonderful staff/people. Rooms need major updating. - The staff on this site helped make the stay nice by their accommodating nature and friendly service. They made the stay comfortable by going above and beyond. The breakfast was delicious and the shuttle service was an added bonus.
While we understand that the building itself is old, the rooms really need some updating. There were electrical safety concerns including the air conditioner being plugged into 2 connecting extension cords and an adapter. The extension cords were not appropriate for operating an AC. The tv was plugged in by running wires into the bathroom and plugging it into the outlet in there. We were seriously worried about plugging any of our own items in due to fear of tripping a breaker or starting a fire. The room was small and basic. A bed, closet, tv, and bathroom.
However, the age of this building adds to the charm. The location is beautiful and the grounds are stunning. Upon returning from the concert they had fires lit out side and plenty of seating in the form of chairs, gliders and outdoor swings.
The staff appears to genuinely care about the comfort and happiness of their guests. They are incredibly kind, happy and welcoming people.
- BRUCE (10/5): - outstanding
- Diana (10/5): - The owners were wonderful. The breakfast choices were either continental style or made to order eggs by the owner’s Mom. This B&B is in a pre-renovation state. We still enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.
- MARK (10/5): - The whole staff was so accommodating and friendly. An authentic family-like atmosphere with exceptional service. This is a great place to stay if you are going to a concert, they even have a shuttle service we were offered. My wife and I will definitely go back again to stay for our next concert.
- Darrin (10/5): - Ok
- Kevin (10/5): Top Notch Service at Country Hotel - This country hotel was charming and WELL run by a family that was on point with guest interaction and service to the nearby Bethel Woods concert Amphitheater. All involved from father, mother, and brothers who care about the guest experience.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - This is a nice place with a staff that is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. The place is dated and walls are thin. I could hear conversations in adjoining rooms. It is a real nice setting and I would stay there again if going to that area.
- Catherine (10/5): - Fantastic owners! Friendly, helpful, excellent accommodations.
