The location is very convenient to do biking, - the property is located in a convenient location the room is spacious, very clean but very basic the check-in time is a little late, but since the property made it cleat at the time of booking, there is not much I can say about this!

The other room on each of the floors has ZERO windows but is offered at even higher price than the front room because of an extra bed We had to change rooms because of a bad smell

• Tracey (8/5): Nice large room, bit over priced - Large room located very close to the Shuishe pier Reception only open 4-7 no-one available if you want to drop your bags early. Patio overlooks car park
• May (7/5): Fine but more of a Hotel than a "B&B" - The room was incredibly spacious with big windows bringing in a lot of natural light. The bed was comfortable. The sign outside the hotel makes it easy to find on a bust, centrally located street. The staff were very rarely present and overall the B&B felt cold and sterile. (I tried to check in late, the day after around 2pm and no one was there -- the hotel looked closed.) The wifi was more often than not out of service, which was frustrating. That meant I did not get a lot of work done, but also the work station faces a dark wall, whereas there is a big window in the bathroom that looks right into the street from the shower. I think the room could have been designed more thoughtfully. Over all I found this part of Sun Moon Lake very mid. I really disliked the bike hawkers outside incesssently asking if I was interested everytime I passed, sometimes 2-3 times from the same person in a 10-minute period, even when I had a full load of luggage with me??!?! (Not the hotel's fault, of course...) I would not stay in this part of Sun Moon Lake again, it felt souless, which is the only time I've ever felt that way in Taiwan.
• Sabrina (6/5): Pleasant - Location is good. Room had the essentials we needed. There's not always staff when you want to ask questions or need help. She tried to make us pay with cash, first refusing to accept card.
• George (8/5): Great stay - if you get a front facing room - Spotlessly clean. Quiet. Excellent location 2 minutes from shuttle bus station and 2 minutes the other way to the pier. Room #1 was spacious, had a balcony with a view to the mountains (beyond the parking lot). If you get a front facing room it's terrific value for money. 4 pm check-in is firm. No one is there before 4 pm. Leave your bags in the locker at the info centre/bus station. Room #2 was at the back. The small window faced into the next building a meter away. Smaller room, especially if four people were there. If you get a rear room expect a clean, basic room at an okay price.
• Brie (7/5): Good location, uncomfortable pillows, “view” is of the parking lot, strange room design where the light from the bathroo - The location, price, and staff was friendly. The “view” we booked was of the parking lot, not of the lake or nature like we assumed. The design of the room: if someone is using the bathroom, the light is so bright into the room. The pillows were very uncomfortable. Maybe provide more than 1 per person.
