We just needed a bed for the night and it was a good size and comfortable and pretty good value for Clifton/Bristol. Deserves a much higher rating, sorry, but I had to score the whole experience and I was enraged by the damage to my car. Our stay was coloured by our car getting keyed in the 'private' parking across the road arranged by the apartment. Clearly not a safe spot and an expensive mistake. Galling when there were many free spaces behind a security barrier on the grounds of the property which were not offered as an option. I know parking is always at your own risk but it's the first time this has ever happened at any property.

Unfortunately, it doesn't have an elevator. Interior of the foyer was welcoming and pretty. It's a bit unfortunate if you have heavy luggage and you are on the top floor.

Compact, but well furnished bathroom with quality toiletries. Location was quiet. Excellent cafe (Starling) within easy walking. Great online guide to apartment and Bristol. Excellent value. Bed was in a bit of an alcove with only room for one bedside cabinet, so not the best. Location is on the edge of Clifton, which is very uphill from the city centre. We walked it no problem, but others may find it a challenge. Buses and taxis are obviously available

The only drawback was that the building is located close to busy roads, so there was noticeable traffic noise, which could be disruptive overnight.

The appeal for us is that it was near our daughter's university accommodation. We were allowed to park before check in time which was a Godsend as all parking in Bristol seems to be permit holders only. There was no instructions for anything so it took a while to work out how the shower switched on and we weren't sure whether we had actually switched the heating off; it was very warm in the apartment. Some instructions would just save guests time and frustration fiddling around with appliances

Warm, comfortable and stylishly appointed. However some aspects were not satisfactory given the price being charged. Check in is late at 4pm and there was no facility for leaving luggage ahead of that. Very inconvenient if you’ve travelled by public transport and plan on a shopping day! Although the apartment was smartly appointed there were various details which were poor. Namely, torn curtains, stained carpet , mold in the shower, dust is some areas such as the chandelier and shelf under the dining table (which was unstable) and a very stingy amount of milk for hot drinks. Also communication is only during office hours which can make any last minute queries tricky!

When we booked, they were very fast to answer our questions, get our info and take our payment for the hotel and the car park which we had to book. If it was somwthing they needed, they responded pretty fast. However after the 1st night we messaged them (via the same messaging system on the booking) because the extractor in the bathroom would not turn off and was very loud (bathroom being right by the bed) and we never got a response back. So we spent 2 nights with very poor sleep and are still waiting on an answer. We also asked to get the towel rack dryer checked as it wasn't working, no response. We booked for 2 people but only got robes for 1. Quite disappointing when you are coming to stay somewhere to rest but can't and on top of that get ignored

- donita rose (10/5): Cozy ang Elegant - Our stay at beech house was incredible. The facilities are great and I can cook my own meals because they have very nice kitchen layout. There was only 1 pair of slippers available and none for my partner. I hope next time they will provide
- JM Theo Packer (6/5): Great stay but could use work. - I liked that they had a washing machine, and the view was amazing. The bed was comfy could have stayed in it all day. The variety on the tea bags. The building was secure. Love the choices you could make the tea. Bathroom and room is an amazing size The tv was on the wall in the wrong position, i wanted to watch tv in bed, Shower was difficult to turn on but once had going it was great. Need a shower door water on the floor is not okay! Black out curtain would have been better. You cant contol the heating. Was freezing all night. Winter is coming upon us. Not being able to park on the area. I would have paid more to be able to park outside.

- Yolanda (9/5): Love this place - This was our second time at Beech house and this time we stayed in the studio apartment. Very nice modern kitchen and bathroom. The washing machine is a bonus We stayed for 7 nights and halfway during our stay, somebody came to clean our room and refill the coffee, tea and toilet paper. Thank you so much. We could not get the heated towel rail to work

- Ian (8/5): Nice apartment in Clifton for short stay - Location convenient for shops and Everyman cinema as well as centre of Bristol. TV or broadband froze part way through streaming films. Limited cooking implements.
- song (8/5): Overall, the studio felt cozy, practical, and very well thought out. - I had a very pleasant stay at Beech House in Bristol. The apartment really stood out with all the thoughtful details. The check-in information was sent promptly before arrival, so the process went smoothly. The facilities were excellent: a washing machine and dryer with laundry pods, an iron, a coffee machine with plenty of capsules, and even delicious biscuits. The kitchen was very well equipped with pots, pans, and tableware, and the stove was easy to use. I stayed in a studio, and the bathroom was surprisingly spacious. The bedding was very comfortable, and I particularly appreciated that the pillows were the perfect height. The bedside table had charging outlets, which was very convenient. Overall, the studio felt cozy, practical, and very well thought out. The location was also quiet, which made the stay more relaxing. When I extended my stay, the team replied quickly and even offered me a discount, which I really appreciated. The only downside was that my studio was on the top floor. Carrying heavy luggage up the stairs was not very convenient. Apart from that, everything was excellent.
