Guest Reviews
- Miguel (10/5): - Great price
- Robert (10/5): - .
- Isaiah (2/5): - terrible. sheets not washed with hair still on the bed, nasty yellow build up on the walls and terrible smell. was not able to stay the 2 nights like i wanted and left almost immidietly because i was in fear for my familys safety if we were to stay in the room.
- carlos (10/5): - Rooms need more cleaning, could use better towels.
- Michael (8/5): - .
- Thomas (10/5): - Nice quiet little place. Friendly staff. Nice restaurant. Clean rooms. Smoking rooms and truck parking!
- Ann (10/5): Perfect overnight stop - The place was conveniently located just off the 10 yet quiet. There was a restaurant in walking distance as well as a gas station and store. It was a bit old but very clean and comfortable. Great value.
- Crystal (6/5): - M
- CRAIG (10/5): - Rooms appeared to have been recently refurbished. Staff was courteous and friendly. Parking right in front of the room. Easy access to the interstate. No amenities pool jacuzzi etc. But a good economical choice for a comfortable place to stay while in the area.
- MICHAEL (8/5): Excellent value - Very decent motel, especially considering the price. Plenty of room as there was only one queen bed. Room was clean and quiet. With the A/C fan running to provide white noise, I had no trouble sleeping. There were no amenities, but there is a restaurant right next door (I didn't try it). There is also a Mexican restaurant across the street, which I did try and enjoy.
- Leon (8/5): - Nothing fancy but very clean , could walk across the road for a nice meal. Would stay there again.
- Asuncion (8/5): - Very nice overall
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It's a very basic motel. You get a bed with clean linens, towels, a table, chairs, a working mini fridge, hot water in the shower. It ain't glamorous, but what you want for well under $100?
- Cynthia (10/5): - We stay here everytime we come through. It's very easy and comfortable here. It's an older model and we like it here. The man at check in is very friendly.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Clean, convenient, food and store easily within a short walking distance.
- Jennifer (6/5): - The man at the front desk was super nice. I had a non smoking room that smelled of smoke when we came in. And the day of checkout, at 10:30 AM, a female knocks on our door saying “checkout”……ok
But I mean, you can clearly see us loading our car up. Then after that, proceeds to wait around and watch us, and occasionally walk back and forth where our room was at. THEN, unlocks another room that is facing a clear view of us, opens the curtains, looks, then comes out the room and proceeds to sit on the chair across from us. It was so uncomfortable. I’ve never had someone behave like that before.
- Lorenzo (6/5): - Very affordable
- Paula (10/5): - The staff was kind, courteous and warm. The room was clean and pleasant. The parking was convenient. The location of the Inn what is conveniently close to the highway. It was a lovely place with lots of character.
- John (2/5): - Run do not check in
- luzviminda j (8/5): - Good
- John (10/5): - Clean reasonable prices
- Hector (2/5): - Terrible .
- WILLIAM (6/5): - It was clean and quiet
- Charles (4/5): - Even at $75.00 a night, I expected a clean room. Mold all around top of shower tile, places throughout the room that hadn't a dusting in ages and to top it all off, no coffee in the rooms!
- LINDA (8/5): - Quaint, old school property. Will stay again. No frills but clean and safe.
- Cynthia (10/5): - Little gem of a place! Plain and simple with a good bed.
- Nicholas (10/5): Clean amd quiet. - Nice, clean and quiet. Check-in was quick and easy. Strict no pet policy enforced
- Daniel (8/5): - Quiet simple
- carlo (10/5): Chilly - Great staff. Room was very cold AC
- DQuincey (10/5): - Rundown looking restaurant is a must go cause the food is excellent. Nice rooms, quiet enough. Expedia only reserves so payment must be at motel. Could use more towels.
- Verified traveler (6/5): One night stay hotel - This is more of a stop and go, if you gonna stay for more than two days then I wouldn’t recommend it. Wi-Fi is not reliable at all even though it says I’m connected still my browser and every was super slow. On my last day of stay I was fixing my bed and found a dead bug deep down inside. The guy at the front freak was the housekeeper as well so if you need something in the morning be ready to wait or go find him cleaning a room.
- Saul (10/5): - They have what you need to rest a night.
- Manuel (2/5): - We never stayed at the hotel we cancelled and both the hotel and expedia never refunded us. The staff at the hotel very rude. I don’t think I will use Expedia anymore.
- Javier (8/5): - we liked as we were welcome with a smile !!!!
- Verified traveler (4/5): - They wouldn’t clean room or make bed
- ALFRED (10/5): GOOD FOR OVERNIGHT STAY. - PRETTY CLEAN MOTEL. NICE PLACE TO STAY FOR OVERNIGHT. ROOM HAS BEEN REMODELED.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - We had been on the road all day and needed a place in a pinch, so this place worked great. I was nervous about it being near a truck stop, because I felt like that would make it very noisy, but it was a quiet place to stop and the staff made us feel very welcome too. This is a great place for anyone just passing through the area!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This is a roadside motel, it’s an older motel but very clean and everything was in very good condition. We stayed 1 night and it was $69 with taxes/fees. Had 2 queen beds, a full size mini fridge and a microwave. Lots of parking and parking right in front of your room so easy access to your car. The room was very clean and well kept. Standard motel room size with a little table and 2 chairs, a full length dresser, flat screen TV with great channels for the kids, bathtub/shower combo and toilet room separate from sink and a Small closet. It was perfect for our needs. Beds were firm and clean. Had an AC unit that we didn’t really use cuz it was cold during our stay, just used the fan feature. Free work. Overall a great motel, would def stay again.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - When I checked in clerk said my charge card was rejected and took cash, When I called my charge company they said there wasn't anything wrong with my card, my credit was perfect, not near my credit limit, and there was no record of a rejected transaction.
The website said a restaurant was on site but did not say they were closed on weekend.
When I tried to access internet, instructions on the wall didn't work. From now on I will stick with the major chain motels. As the saying goes "you get what you paid for". I'm on a cross country journey and will use "major chain" motels. Last evening we stayed in a Holiday Inn Express.Excellent facilities and I slept much better than Adobe Inn.
- DaDude (4/5): - Place is more than a little run down, some of which you expect for the price paid, but something as simple as using some air freshener in the room would help. I woke up about 9:30 am, and there was NO WATER. Mgr said it was "the city", so not his fault, very sorry, etc. But the city usually sends out letters saying when the water will be turned off. Mgr could have told guests to shower before 8 am because city will turn off water, but he said nothing about this to me at check in.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Had a good night sleep - Clean, basic and just what I was looking for
- J (6/5): Basic No Frills - Adequate for a place to sleep & watching tv but no breakfast & no coffee maker.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Good Value. Clean, staff was assessable, Restaurant next store.
- Michael (2/5): - Well, what do you really expect for $45? Many small motels have thin walls and this one was no exception. Our room was spartan but clean and we walked across the street for a pizza at the truck plaza. Back to the thin walls—we settled in with no problems and we heard people checking in the next room—after some gaity in Spanish, things calmed down and then a lady started moaning and we thought, ok we have been in places like this before and it should be over soon—and it was for about 20 minutes when it started again—ok—some time passed and the cycle repeated. My wife said, I think she’s in labor and after a few hours I agreed and we starting thinking about the baby being born and if there were complications—needless to say we didn’t get a great nights sleep. The people next door left at about 5 am and we debate still what happened next door. I’m not putting down the management of the hotel wish they could have given them a room not next door to us as the motel was far from full. For the money it is ok, but not for us that night.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Verry erratic WiFi. Microwave did not work.
The room is clean. The environment is quiet.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Only thing I like about the property that it had truck parking, thats it! Its alot i didnt like about the property beds are old and cheap walls were filthy, shower curtain was dirty, worse of all the had a strong cigarette smell, smelled like a smoke room.
- Michael (2/5): You get what you pay for - We had no option of smoking or non smoking, but we had a room that reeked of cigarette smoke. It appeared to be what looked like blood stains by the bed and table. Not saying that's what it was but it's what it looked like. Bed were stiff and uncomfortable. We decided to not stay there at night but I took a shower around 7pm and left. When I left I had the air on and left a towel on the sink. I went back in the morning 7 am and the air was off, the bed was made, and the towel was gone. Seemed somebody had already gone in there between 7pm and 7am. Feel like that's kinda sketchy. The staff was ok I wouldn't say they were friendly.
- David (6/5): - Just average 1970's refit motel build around interstate highway. Quite area room air conditioner nosie but cold for 90's plus temperature outside. Dining was close with two restaurants with 350 feet and Express truck stop with several fast food Subway Taco Burritos and beer. Cotton Joe Restaurant next door opens at 6:00 am breakfast !
- Janet (10/5): - This Inn is fairly new compared to most of the others.
It is clean, roomy, comfortable bed , microwave & fridge available plus fast free wifi .
It is exceptionally quiet as well.
Very reasonable rate.
I highly recommend this.
Only probably is my old GPS I had problem locating it.
For those who have the same problem...
The driveway of this inn is directly opposite:
XPRESS FUEL IN CLINT, TX
& near COTTON EYED JOE’S RESTAURANT
- Nancy (4/5): Filthy, You get what you pay for, don't go there!! - Well, we read the reviews and thought we would try it. The front desk was not welcoming as everything was handed through a window . I felt like they did not trust anyone. The room was very sparsely furnished, towels tiny and washed out. The light fixture above the sink had spots for 3 light bulbs, but there was only one! Now the shower was nasty. Mildewed shower curtain from top to bottom. The shower rings were mildewed and layered with some kind of brown crud.We closed our eyes to shower. The bed was fine, but no extra pillows, and did not want to ask. Refrigerator was clean until going to the freezer. The freezer needed defrosting and foods of all sorts were frozen in the ice. Only one lock on the door and if you went out it would lock behind you. Therefore locking you out if you did not have your key.
- Teresa (10/5): Adobe Inn - Room was exceptionally clean and comfy. Even extended our stay.
- Natalia (10/5): - The people working in the reception were very friendly, the room was clean, and it was comfortable. Very nice price as well!
