- lottie suzanne (10/5): Excellent customer care!! - Clean Parking was a little expensive
- Kimberly (4/5): Will not return. - I DID NOT like this property. Upon arrival, we discovered or tv didn’t work. Tries to use the room phone to call down to ask for maintenance or another room. Discovered the phone in our room didn’t work either. It was a very old phone from the looks of it. Went to front desk and was told you have to turn on tv manually and then sometimes the remote doesn’t work. Went back up ( to 5th floor) and turned tv on but no signal. Since I couldn’t call back down, went to lobby again and was told yeah, that’s happening in a lot of rooms and it was the cable service. Despite the tvs all working in the lobby area. When I asked for another room, I was promptly told there weren’t any.
I am thankful I was only there for one night.
Will not return or likely book with a Hyatt again. All
Of the above
- Cheryl (10/5): Perfect place for concert stay - The location was great for walking to restaurants and the concert venue. Staff was friendly and helpful. Accommodations were comfortable. Our blackout curtain needed repair, but we did not address it during our stay.
- Matthew (4/5): - Staff, and room Pool wasn’t open, coffee was weak, breakfast wasn’t very good, parking was expensive
- Diana (7/5): -
- Compass28830536492 (10/5): Great Parking Staff !!!! - I had an amazing experience, especially from the valet staff. They were very helpful, expedient, and professional. People that I would like to highlight are Bryce, Austin, Andrew, and Lo.
- tannah2026 (10/5): Amazing valet! - Valet was great! Super easy to deal with!
- 150marjorief (2/5): Great Trip! Good experience overall. - Great Location to Bricktown area. Nice atmosphere with the staff and hotel. Room was very nice and better then expected. Great water pressure. Good value with amount of people in area for numerous events. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
Only information that I have is use the valet. Difference of cost between valet and self-park is $5.
- moonraven24 (6/5): Nice hotel, great location, terrible parking situation - The good: Hotel is nice, room clean, as expected for Hyatt. They have mandatory quiet hours at night, so guests won't be disturbed. They have a great social area with a fire pit and seats, it was nice. Location was perfect for us, as we were attending an event in Bricktown, and it was walking distance (3-5 minutes, max) to the venue, and to a bunch of good restaurants, bars, and clubs. It's next to the police substation as well, so it felt pretty safe/secure.
The not so good: Be aware, parking for the hotel is not free, you must check in, then use your room key to enter the parking lot, which then charges $33 per overnight parking if you self park, $43 per night if the valet drives it 25 feet across the street into the lot. And there's no where to park when you go to check in, or any other parking options provided.
- Venture60142186213 (2/5): Do Not stay - dirty and rude staff - Upon arrival, I was assigned a room with visibly stained bedding, which is unacceptable and should have been identified prior to check-in. As a result, I requested a resolution so my children and I could settle into a clean and appropriate room.
While I understand operational challenges, the handling of this situation was unnecessarily difficult. A simple room move could have been executed efficiently, especially given that guests were still actively checking in, despite being told the property was at full capacity.
More concerning was the conduct of the front desk associate. I experienced unprofessional communication, including being spoken about in front of others and in front of my children in a manner that was inappropriate and disrespectful. This significantly escalated what should have been a straightforward service recovery.
I want to be clear that I did not request compensation at the time. My expectation was simply a clean room and professional, respectful service.
Instead, the experience caused unnecessary stress and discomfort for both myself and my children.
Bed dirty. Showers moldy. Previous guest hairs, urine and else in the room. Many maintenance issues too.
- 577debh (6/5): Great location in Bricktown - Great location and quality hotel. Furniture in room was a little worn, but was fine. We didn't try breakfast, so not sure on that. Was a value hotel.
- U750SMkellyg (10/5): Great staff and location! - Great location! Great staff! We stayed for 5 days and it was an overall great stay. Breakfast was always good. The valet drivers were super fast and always friendly. Front desk was very helpful!
- Daniela (10/5): - Everything was amazing No housekeeping clean the room
- Flax (10/5): -
- daniellewF647CE (8/5): Great stay - Great time, great location! And Lo and Bryce were awesome at valet!
- Sightsee34304386164 (10/5): Plan to Return - Stayed one night at Hyatt Place Oklahoma City/Bricktown and it delivered exactly what we needed. Check-in was quick, the room was clean and quiet, and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was solid—good variety, fresh, and easy to grab and go. The pool area was well kept and a nice way to unwind, and the bar/lounge was relaxed with friendly service and plenty of seating. Great location for Bricktown, and a dependable choice.
- paigebB4438ZI (10/5): Great stay! - Nice hotel. Valet was awesome - Brice was so helpful and kind. Great stay. Good value.
- J5147MTloris (10/5): Sleep deprived Grandma - Let me start by saying, I once vowed never to stay at a Hyatt again after a bad experience in Houston.
Due to a medical emergency with my granddaughter, I drove up to Oklahoma and stayed here due to the location and price. Plus, it was just ONE night and after spending the prior 36 hours in the hospital, I just wanted a few hours' sleep on a bed and a shower!!!
During my sleep deprivation state, I booked a one-night stay and then called the hotel to see if I could get an early check in time.
Aqueelah answered phone and she told me that any time after noon I could check in and there would not be a charge. (That was a nice surprise!)
She also mentioned that she did not see my reservation.
Since I made it with Expedia, I just assumed they had not sent it over yet and did not think it was an issue.
I got there about 1pm and Aqueelah was behind the desk. She greeted me with a friendly smile and started to check me in. She then told me she still did not see my reservation.
Confused, I showed her my confirmation from Expedia. Well, apparently sleep deprived, I made the reservation for a totally different date 3 weeks in the future.
Aqueelah assured me we could get it resolved but I would have to call Expedia.
When I called Expedia, they said I had booked a non-refundable rate, and the hotel would have to approve the change and/or refund.
Well, Aqueelah was more than happy to assist me, and we also figured out it was even cheaper to just cancel that reservation rather than change it, and to just get a room directly with the hotel. She also graciously comped my parking for the few hours I was there.
The room was nice and I enjoyed my brief stay.
With such a positive experience, I will revoke my vow and will continue to give HYATT other tries. All thanks to Aqueelah's help and generosity to a sleep deprived Grandma!
- Happiness27866690059 (2/5): They just didn’t care - Checking took 25 minutes, no benefits offered for guest of honor, was not even recognized. Breakfast ended early causing us to not have time to eat before our flight :( promised point to be added to account which never happened
- alrichbert (4/5): Oscar the manager at this Hyatt Place singled handily lost our business by refusing us a couple bottles of water - Oscar the evening manager refused a couple of bottles of water for Hyatt Place members when we checked in. He was actually rude about it saying we weren't globalist members (Say What???). It wasn't so much the money $113 per night plus taxes plus the $30+ parking cost/night. He was definitely the worst Hyatt Place front desk manager that my wife and I ever encountered. By refusing us the bottled water, he single handily lost long term HP customers for good. The room was nice and so were the parking attendants. The breakfast there was poor. The oranges and bananas were in horrible condition. The scrambled eggs were not hot. The bacon was horrible compared with any bacon I've had at a Hyatt Place. The reason I stay at HP is the quality of breakfast. This breakfast was far from quality. Hyatt Place Top management needs to address these issues, especially with the worst mgr.ever, Oscar!!! I'll be giving my business to a better hotel chain for now on.
- Hal (7/5): Not a good experience! - The room I booked was not available, and they downgraded me without lowering the price. They closed the breakfast at 9am! There are other hotels close by that i will book next time.
- Jennifer (8/5): Good stay. - Spacious room I was under the impression breakfast was included. That was a disappointment. Also, the hallway had a strong presence of marijuana. My room smelled fine but when I walked out in the hall it the smell took my breath away.
- Jonathan (5/5): - The location was fine for what we were there for. The water pressure in the shower was good. The room temperature was very hard to regulate. The TV didn't work and we got no assistance when asking for help. Also, a group was sitting in the outside seating area and they were being extremely loud and kept us awake well past 10:00 p.m. If the pool has to be vacated by a certain time, you would think outside courtyards in close proximity to people's rooms would have the same expectation.
- delisan2026 (10/5): Amazing - Absolutely the Best Stay we have had. We were very impressed with the Valet, Ivan P husted every single time. He was friendly and efficient
- Kendra (10/5): - Front desk staff and valet staff were great!
The free breakfast and bar took it up a notch. Great location. Nice pool. Comfortable room and bed. Prices in the bar/restaurant/ grab and go
- AGreatAdventure (2/5): Well Below Hyatt Standards - I travel often and rely upon Hyatt brands for maintaining a higher bar of service than average, but my stay at the Hyatt Place Oklahoma City / Bricktown was one I will not forget soon. Starting with parking; fees were high and the gate was broken, although I was assured that because it's located near a police station, it's secure? Next morning, I discovered the soap dispenser in the shower was empty. Then off to breakfast where I found my juice glass to be chipped and severely cracked and the coffee pot was empty. Is anyone in charge here?
- rmunozsanroman (10/5): One of the best options in OK city - The hotel is not only very close to several points of interest, like the baseball stadium, restaurants, and hunting & fishing stores, but also has plenty of nearby dining options. The area is safe, and the staff’s service is incredible. They not only gave me great tips, but their attention was so good that I wouldn’t hesitate to return.
The breakfasts, while simple, offer more than other hotels with the same “included breakfast” benefit. The rooms are clean and comfortable, in a quiet, family-friendly area. You can walk to downtown in about 6–7 blocks, and it’s close to the city’s best museums.
Although the hotel doesn’t have its own parking, there’s a lot in front where you can pay per day to leave your car.
- wildcats12181 (4/5): Run down, bathrooms need remodeled - We stayed in this hotel in January and I never got around to writing a review but after staying in another Hyatt in Omaha, Nebraska, I had to share my experience. Hyatt needs to get with the program on updating their hotels!
Our room looked like people had a raging party in it and no one cared to clean it up. The walls were scuffed and peeling. The bathroom had mold and the grout was disgusting. The elevators were gross. Outside the hotel stunk all 3 nights we were there.
The only positives were the front desk staff and the ease to walk to restaurants downtown.
- Pascal (7/5): -
- J1035KOlanam (10/5): Great Place. - The ladies at the front desk were very welcoming and I loved the inside of the hotel. The Valet guy Nicholas was awesome as well. 10/10 would recommend.
- Alyshi (10/5): - Everything was great
- Roland (9/5): -
- Kara (10/5): Beautiful, very clean very friendly staff! - There was an outdoor seating area around a fireplace that was Beautiful, restraunts within walking distance and the breakfast was Amazing! Bricktown was lit up for Christmas and I stopped by on my walk back from dinner. There was free street parking from 6pm-6am, I paid $1/hour for the extra 2 hours I needed.
- GlobeTrotting783758 (10/5): Great Experience and Friendly Staff - This is my first time stayed at Hyatt Place Oklahoma City/ Bricktown, everything is over expected except the parking fee but totally understand the hotel is located at Downtown, just the charge is a little high. Other than that, I completely satisfy this hotel, friendly staff, clean room and have a nice bar and breakfast. Highly recommended and thank you!!!
- Sonia (8/5): Overall, the stay was good except the microwave issue. - The staff was nice and the location was really good. I did not like the misrepresentation of saying online that there are microwaves in the rooms because that's not true. The microwaves are in the hallway which is very inconvenient.
- Jaime (10/5): I would definitely stay at the hotel again. I have recommended it to other co-workers. - The room was very clean. The staff was professional and informative. N/A
- natalie (9/5): Overall it was very comfortable nice staff room was clean great for the price - Location was perfect to The Criterion and restaurants and entertainment The only complaint was we were on the third floor and we could hear everything going on outside people walking and talking cars driving by it was like the window was open :( the bar across the street we could hear the base and music inside
The pull out bed the mattress was very thin and sleeping on springs very bad
- glenwU4540EN (10/5): Great service - Cole was amazing he was a very hard worker and got my car to keep in a timely manner couldn’t ask for better sevice
- Eric (10/5): A Short But Very Pleasant Stay in Downtown OKC. - Perfect location for activities in and around Bricktown, an entertainment district in Oklahoma City. Paid parking, my pet peeve when it comes to hotels.
- Lakee J Howell (9/5): Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and a great value, and I would recommend it to others. - The property was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout our stay. The location was convenient and made it easy to get around and enjoy nearby attractions. The staff was friendly and responsive, which made the experience even better. Some areas could use minor updates to feel a bit more modern. There were also occasional noises at night, but nothing that significantly affected our stay.
- Arlene (8/5): -
- Eddy (8/5): -
- Kyler (10/5): -
- Martin (5/5): - The room was clean and comfortable and the shower was excellent! I normally don't stay at Hyatt but am glad I did! The pool felt amazing after traveling all day and the patio with the firepit was a nice surprise because I am a smoker! I would have given it 5 stars had we not had problems BOTH days with the young lady at the front desk! I had gone thru Booking.com to reserve a room for New Year's Eve n New Year n had everything paid for n taken care of, including my service dog, so all we had to do was check in after traveling ALL day! The young lady behind the counter was rude from the get go and it got worse the following day! I retired as a CSR(customer service rep) after 42 yrs and I don't think I've EVER come across someone so rude and unprofessional. She actually told me it "wasn't her problem " at one point..I was livid! Evidently she didn't start at the bottom (scrubbing toilets) like I did because she surely doesn't appreciate her job OR the customers. Hell..it doesn't cost ANYTHING to be nice. Other than that though..we had a wonderful time and will probably go back again
- Aisha (10/5): -

- williams (10/5): When I travel I stay at the Hyatt Place or Hyatt House. Always, no exceptions. -
- Natalie (6/5): It was alright, the staff was very nice, room could’ve been cleaner! - Location There was rips in the bedding, a pile of hair in the trash can, hair around the sink. I didn’t like that I could not park my car before checking in, due to needing a room key to access the self pay parking lot
- Elliany (5/5): -
- 80237travel (2/5): Mold and Maintenance Issues — Not Hyatt Quality - I stayed at the Hyatt Place in the Bricktown area of downtown Oklahoma City.
This is a franchised Hyatt Place owned by Summit Hotel Properties and operated by Aimbridge Hospitality.
While the front desk staff — youngish but polite and well-intended — did their best, the property itself fell far short of Hyatt’s basic brand standards. Either the owner doesn't invest or the management is disengaged.
Valet parking is outsourced to a third-party contractor and the process is unnecessarily complicated, relying on text messaging with inconsistent responsiveness depending on who is working. Some attendants were better than others. For what it’s worth, if valet is included in your nightly rate, it’s a better value than paying for self-parking.
The room I received was not in good condition. The shower had extensive mold on the sliding doors, grout, and tile surfaces. This wasn’t a minor housekeeping lapse. It was a pervasive sanitation failure that clearly resulted from prolonged, routine neglect.
Unfortunately, this was not the only issue.
In the lobby-level men’s restroom, the divider separating the urinals had been detached and was simply propped against a wall. Its condition suggested it had been this way for some time, without any effort to repair or remove it from guest view. One of the elevators was also missing a panel from the control section, leaving components exposed and adding to an overall sense of poor maintenance.
These issues collectively indicate a disregard for Hyatt’s cleanliness, maintenance, and safety standards. While this is a franchised property, guests have every right to expect Hyatt’s minimum standards to be consistently upheld. Here, they clearly were not.
There were additional shortcomings with basic Hyatt amenities. No lotion was provided in the bathroom. When I requested mouthwash at the front desk, I was told none was available. A simple request noted on my reservation — a daily newspaper — went entirely unfulfilled. The lobby had no newspapers or even Oklahoma City tourism magazines.
After my stay, I raised these issues both by email to management and through the post-stay survey sent by Hyatt. The only response I received was a generic, seemingly AI-generated message that failed to address any of the specifics.
All things considered, there are numerous other hotels in Bricktown and the greater downtown Oklahoma City area. The only reason to stay here is if you value Hyatt points. Otherwise, the experience itself does not justify the choice.
- Sandi (10/5): I felt comfortable, rested and happy. - Clean, friendly staff, delicious food, beautiful, affordable No area to wash clothes
- M2675ADjacquelineh (10/5): Fantastic Experience - The Hyatt was great! Smooth check-in and the room was clean. The hotel is in a nice location and within walking distance to many activities and restaurants. They do have a valet and they took good care of my car. Blaine and Kash were working the valet and they gave fantastic restaurant recommendations!
- 706clayt (4/5): Scam- Don't stay - Do not stay here unless you want mystery charges charged to your credit card. Then a complete hassle to get it refunded. Charges appeared, called. Refund was promised, but instead I was charged again. When I called to inquire what the charges were actually for, I got some Hyatt jargon instead of an explanation, hoping I would just go away.
- lorenaf523 (10/5): Great hotel - Great hotel, great location. Staff was friendly. Valet team was amazing, Bryce went above and beyond. The rooms are spacious and clean
- 896carib (10/5): Great Value, except... - Reasonable rate and GREAT VIEW on the upper floor. Room was very clean and spacious. Sadly, guests must pay for parking and breakfast.
- debers1974 (6/5): Nice stay; skip the costly breakfast - The hotel was located well for our needs. However, we were not expecting to be charged for breakfast as that is gratis at most hotels. I was very surprised to find the charge on my bill. And it was expensive.
- Cortney (10/5): -
- Kyle (10/5): -
- 515kaylinr (10/5): Valet - My visit was amazing Morgan in valet was extremely helpful and an amazing gentleman. I was very confused and he was helpful.
- John (8/5): - Location Had to pay extra for parking
- 103cedricd (10/5): Best location to stay in Bricktown - Great location in Bricktown! Friendly staff with a safe parking area. I really enjoyed the room, comfort and cleanliness of the room. Highly recommend this location!
- Jessica (9/5): -
- Alphonzo (9/5): - The location Nothing
- Sommer (10/5): - Such a clean place with incredibly friendly staff. Definitely will come back again.
- Chelsea (10/5): I would stay here again! - I’ve never been to OKC before so wasn’t sure where to stay. This place is very centrally located, the room was spacious/clean, the girl at the front desk was very hospitable. I would stay here again. I don’t have any complaints about this property.
- Pacheco (8/5): -
- Tara (10/5): -
- Cindy (10/5): - Hotel in great location. Safe neighborhood. Front desk staff so helpful, especially
- Stephanie (10/5): - The room was clean and the staff was incredibly friendly!
- Jamie (10/5): Front desk staff was excellent - Clean with many amenities Nothing at all
- Alexander (8/5): Sehr gut -
- Kelly (8/5): -
- Kayla (10/5): - Second time here. Love the area. Staff are amazing and attentive.
- Stephenie (10/5): - New hotel with good beds and quiet area in a very busy area of town
- Misha (10/5): - Great
- Tinner (10/5): -
- Joan (10/5): - Very comfortable room. Close to local restaurants and bars.
- Eloy (10/5): - It was dirty and hair on the bathroom floor and the receptionist was on her private phone, and was trying not to acknowledge me. Won't stay there again
- Mary (9/5): -
- James (10/5): - The hotel was conveniently located in Bricktown and many of the local attractions were in easy walking distance. The staff were great and the room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.
- Presley (10/5): - The room was so very nice and the view of brick town was great from the room we had! Only a 5 minute walk from everywhere we wanted to go.
- Sheyla (9/5): -
- Monica (10/5): - Would stay again
- Olivia (10/5): - Everyone was so nice. They loved on us and our dog.
- Glaser (10/5): I had an early appointment at Martin Bionics. So we wanted to stay close to the appointment. - Everything!!! Nothing
- Frieder (6/5): Nice location but unfair conditions - The room was nice and clean and the beds were comfortable. However the TV just worked at the check in day, but didn’t in the morning. Tried to call front desk but the phone in the room didn’t work either.
Most disappointing thing was that we had to pay $ 75 for overnight parking!! That’s ridiculous.
- Amanda (4/5): - Charge on credit card for dining downstairs which we never did. Have called multiple times and keep being told I have to speak to the manager who’s never there.
- Leenochka (10/5): - Very good in general
- Antonietta (2/5): - I wanted to share my experience from my recent stay. Unfortunately, the condition of the room was quite disappointing. The room was noticeably dirty—there was dust on the walls, the carpets were stained and sticky in some areas, and the fixtures appeared not to have been cleaned in some time. The fire alarm was located directly over the bed and flashed bright lights all night, making it very difficult to sleep. Additionally, there was a large lamp in the room that contained a significant number of dead bugs on the underside, which was unpleasant to see.
The hallways outside of the first floor were extremely hot and did not appear to be temperature controlled, which made moving between spaces uncomfortable. In addition, the listing stated there would be paid parking, but that was not available, and overall amenities were sparse compared to expectations.
I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as there is room for improvement to ensure future guests have a more comfortable and clean stay.
- Alberto (10/5): - Clean friendly staff great breakfast.
- Cheyanne (1/5): - Bed was comfortable and location was great Our air wasn’t working tv wasn’t working and phone didn’t work in room told front desk showed me 2 other rooms and air wasn’t working in those either I was told that I had 30 min to contact booking.com to get a refund and stay somewhere else if I didn’t want to stay their because of all the issues. Which wasn’t an option because everywhere else was booked up so we had to stay their with the air still not working properly or the tv. Oscar at front desk did not want to upgrade or anything was no help claimed they were booked up which I later found out was a lie he just didn’t want to deal with the issue.
- Kimberly (4/5): Uptight - I have a ESA bird that I bring everywhere with me. He stays in a small cage and they would not allow it. I called and left a message with the manager with no response.
The staff was very very strict. They seemed more like police officers than customers service based staff. They warned us about our beers and Yeti cups filled with water, that those weren’t allowed in the outside patio area. We put the beers away and ordered from the lobby bar but the staff still came out and walked around us as if they were monitoring us. Very uncomfortable.
The parking was the same. We used our key to self park and they would run out to the parking lot and tell us to leave our cars they would take care of it which made us feel obligated to tip them every time. Which parking was very expensive to park directly across the street uncovered . Valet $32 and $29 to self park but always gave tips.
As I was using the elevators and walking around the hotel in general, I over heard other guests experiencing the same issues.
- Isis (8/5): - Loud at night, everything else was good
