• Anna (9/5): Old style charm, served with peace and tranquility - It was the most amazing experience to stay in an old plantation house in the middle of a plantation. Old style charm and beauty The sad thing was it was taking your life in your hands if you want to walk to near by town due to lack of pavements. It wasn’t a problem as we could easily order a cab and it was cheep and quick also the hotel had a huge good car park.

Un bâtiment ,(hacienda) avec une histoire, un des plus ancien bâtiment de l ile.Facile d'accès avec un grand parking disponible. Bien situé pour visiter toute l île. Personnel très agréable et serviable. Repas du soir où l on a pu goûter des aliments et recettes locales. Déjeuner en extérieur possible en cas de belle météo. • Renske (9/5): Heerlijke oase tussen de bananenbomen - De ligging is echt geweldig en het is een mooi, goed onderhouden koloniaal huis. Het zwembad was verwarmd en heerlijk. Tussen de bananenplantage, palmen en heel veel paarse bomen, die je veel ziet op Gran Canaria. Heerlijk rustig. Het personeel was heel vriendelijk. Wij hadden half pension. Je had elke avond andere keuzes. Het eten was lokaal, eenvoudig, maar heerlijk. De kamers kunnen wel een vernieuwing gebruiken. Maar op zich was het wel goed.

• Christopher (9/5): An amazing friendly place to stay to unwind, recharge and forge the world. - Ample breakfast with lots of choice. The location was amazing - not for everyone i know but a perfect place to relax, unwind and forget the real world. Evening meals were more than enough. All staff were super friendly & helpful. The step into the bath/shower could be a challenge for some people and sadly the walls between the rooms are a little thin. Overnight nosies ranged from those snoring from and one side and those showing affection for each other on the other ....
• Simon (4/5): Hotel nicht für einen erholsamen Urlaub geeignet… - - Die Außenanlagen waren sehr schön und haben einen Wohlfühlfaktor vermittelt. - Pool ist sehr schön und auch beheizt. Jedoch konnten wir ihn leider nicht ausgiebig nutzen, da das Wetter leider nicht so mitgespielt hat. (kann aber die Unterkunft nichts dafür) - Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, um schnell zu Ausflugszielen zu gelangen. - Personal war freundlich und bemüht. - Frühstück war ganz gut, aber es fehlt (da sind wir aber auch etwas verwöhnt) an Weißmehlalternativen. - Die Zimmer waren extrem hellhörig. Man konnte jedes Wort hören. Schlafmangel ist somit vorprogrammiert - vor allem wenn andere Gäste meinen, sie sind alleine im Hotel. Konnten dankenswerterweise das Zimmer tauschen (sonst hätten wir an dem Tag ausgeheckt), aber die neuen Zimmernachbarn mussten auch bis 3 Uhr in der Nacht telefonieren. Gott sei Dank waren es dann nur noch 2 Nächte! - Die Zimmer sind extrem abgewohnt und auf Grund von fehlenden Fliegengittern sind die Wände mit Fliegen-/Stechmückenleichen übersäht. - Die Badezimmer sind mit Badewanne und integrierter Dusche ausgestattet. Für uns jetzt kein Problem, aber für ältere oder eingeschränkte Personen schwierig. Zudem war die Badewanne undicht und hat das Bad geflutet. Abschließend ist zu erwähnen, dass das Hotel wirklich viel Potenzial hat, welches derzeit nicht genutzt wird. Wir mussten Zuhause erstmal unseren Schlaf nachholen.

Das Badezimmer vorallem die Dusche sollte begehbar sein und nicht über eine Stufe in die ovale Badewanne zu steigen. Kühlschrank zu laut!! Und die Wand neben der Tür und Kühlschrank sollte gestrichen werden, sah aus als hätte vorher ein Möbelstück gestanden, da nähe Boden alles grau-scharz war.

• Caroline (9/5): Great rural hotel - The hotel is located in a lovely location surrounded by banana plantations. Rural area, lovely well maintained gardens, wonderful aspect, the ambience, the vibe. Leo is so friendly and a real asset to the team, and I want to say thank you for making us feel so welcome. The weather, but the hotel has no control over that!

• Judith (8/5): Entspannend - Unglaublich nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Wir haben uns wunderbar umsorgt und willkommen gefühlt. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist außerdem sehr vielfältig und reichhaltig. Und die Lage war sehr ruhig und angenehm, perfekt für etwas Entspannung.

Unser Zimmer lag tiefer als das Bodenniveau der Hacienda, die Fenster waren hoch oben und nur mit einer Leiter zu öffnen. Dementsprechend war das Zimmer ohne Aussicht, dunkel und kühl.

The room was spacious and very authentic. We also had dinner both evenings taking the chef menu and chef dish and it was a great experience! The location is superb, with 8 min drive to the ocean and 5 min drive to nearby town. N/a

• Heike (9/5): Übernachten in einem älteren, historischen Gebäude. - Freundliches Personal, mitten in einer Bananen-Plantage in einer älteren Hacienda gelegen. Unkomplizierter Aufenthalt, Frühsctücksbuffett ausreichend mit teilweise kanarischen Spezialitäten. Auch wurden an mehreren Stellen Bananen ausgelegt, von denen man sich kostenlos bedienen konnte. Das Bad ist nutzbar, aber in die Jahre gekommen und renovierungsbedürftig.

An excellent breakfast was included in the room price, which was not bad. Well kept lawns with palm trees surrounded the hacienda. Will come back some time.

Bijna zonnebril nodig in resto door het felle licht. Restaurant was beneden alle peil. Bijna alle groenten uit blik en smaakloos. Ontbijt was wel goed.

• Héctor (7/5): Bien, un lugar tranquilo - La tranquilidad del lugar. El desayuno, que es obligatorio pagar, me parece que no está en consonancia con este tipo de alojamiento. Desde mi punto de vista, debería ser un poco más elaborado dado que hay cocina. Un bizcocho casero, un queso del país, zumo de naranja natural, una tortilla hecha en la cocina. No es cuestión de comprar en el super, abrir y servir. Reconozco que es lo más fácil pero hay que estar en consonancia con el lugar y ofrecer un menú más artesanal, como si estuvieses en una Hacienda. El alojamiento bien, se descansa muy bien y quizás el mantenimiento de las instalaciones debería dársele una vuelta.
• Alexander (9/5): - Sehr schön gelegenes Hotel mit viel Flair. Schöne gediegene Ausstattung. Da geht einem das Herz auf was man sieht und erlebt in Mitten der Bananenplantage. Ganz anderer Urlaub als in einer Hotelburg in Maspalomas. Total entschleunigt. Der Hahn kräht. Die Pfauen rufen vom nahe gelegenen Garten/Park. Die Vögel singen. Die Zimmerausstattung wie im Film. Bequeme Betten. Sehr freundliche Menschen. Beim Empfang, Frühstück und Abendessen. Das Abendessen müssen sie wählen. Leckere canariasche/spanische Küche. 4 Gänge Menü. Arucas auch zu Fuß erreichbar bei 30 minütigen Spaziergang. Beim Jardin de la Marquesa den die letzten 15 Minuten den Berg hinauf. Die wollen 12 EUR. War uns zu teuer. Die Arehucas Bodega für 9 EUR ist ihr Geld wert. Achtung, bei soviel Raumverkostung wird Autofahren schwierig ) Alles schön

• Axel (5/5): Extrem hellhörig - Das Personal war sehr nett und hat sich bemüht. Frühstück war wirklich OK. Die Zimmer (Junior Suites) sind einfach sehr dunkel, ungemütlich und extrem hellhörig. Den letzten Punkt hatten wir in den anderen Bewertungen gelesen, aber nicht ernst genommen, da wir normalerweise nicht empfindlich sind. In diesem Hotel sind wir nachts ständig aufgewacht, weil unser Zimmernachbar geschnarcht und geröchelt hat. Wir mussten vorzeitig abreisen, da das Hotel ausgebucht und ein Zimmerwechsel nicht möglich war.

Almost paper walls: the room is not soundproof at all,we could hear anything from anyone (literally anything). Cleaning could've been better. Also when we woke up, it was raining outside, and in our room as well.

• Marie (7/5): - Bra frukost, tillmötesgående personal Förväntar mig lite bättre ”finish” på ett 4-stjärnigt hotell som galgar på en tom garderobsstång, shampoo, balsam eller duschgel. Hål i väggen där det en gång funnits krokar, skohylla till tv-bänk osv… Väldigt lyhört och vi vaknade till dunsar och smällar kl 06 då personalen började sitt pass. Små saker men nog så irriterande för det pris vi betalade för något skulle bli ett avslappnande dygn.

• ALEXANDRA (1/5): NEFASTO - ABSOLUTAMENTE NADA No hay intimidad. Se escuchan todas las conversaciones tanto de las habitaciones de al lado como las de arriba y todas las pisadas de tal forma que ni se puede entablar una conversación en tu propia habitación porque no te escuchas escuchando los ruidos de al rededor. No funciona el ventilador, te dejan la ventana de la habitación abierta que da al patio común donde pasa todo el mundo. Te dicen desde recepción que se han cancelado todos los ventiladores porque los clientes se quejaban todos porque hacían mucho ruido. No hay más alternativas así que asate de calor. La nevera NO enfría. Con placas de hielo. Le faltaban piezas por lo que se veían hasta los propios cables de la nevera y con placas de MOHO...un asco completo. Desde recepción no te dan más alternativas....es lo que hay. Se pidió una hoja de reclamaciones que al principio se negó la recepcionista a dar olas hasta que le dije que era obligatorio tenerla. No te devuelven el dinero. Ni te buscan una solución. Las instalaciones exteriores deterioradas, muchas falta de mantenimiento. Nos fuimos nada más llegar....y tuvimos que buscar otro hotel sobre la marcha con lo que ellos implica a ultima hora. No lo recomiendo jamás.

• Novella (8/5): Bel contesto ma necessita una ristrutturazione - La piscina a disposizione e la vasca idromassaggio gratuita su prenotazione. Il letto era comodo. . La camera (junior suite) è un po' antica. Non si poteva aprire la porta finestra che dava su un mini terrazzino perché bloccata e deteriorata. La colazione di qualità ok ma non top. L' alloggio ha un costo sopravvalutato rispetto alla qualità (struttura un po' vecchiotta).

Alles sehr ruhig und sauber Das Zimmer war leider Souterrain. Kein Blick aus dem Fenster ohne Leiter möglich. Fernsehen funktioniert nur bedingt. Für Duschen reicht der Wasserstrahl leider nur unzureichend aus. Wlan funktioniert nur nach mehrmaligen einloggen. Frühstück Qualität gut, jedoch nach 9:30 nur noch begrenzt verfügbar.
• John (8/5): Mooie locatie maar helaas erg koud - De ligging en het eten De kou. Het was er behoorlijk fris en er was geen verwarming op de kamer en in de eetzaal. Gasten aten allemaal met de jas aan. Ook was er niet veel te doen: geen bar of een gezellige ruimte. Er was wel een ruimte, maar ook daar was het ijskoud en de open haard was niet aan.

• Aleksander (3/5): We left after one night. - Outside view The service was not professional, the reception was often empty as they were helping in the restaurant. The jacuzzi water was like a fog in the Gran Canaria. The rooms smell mold and you can clearly hear the neighbors conversations.
