Tanner (1/5): - I was told I was renting a beachfront house and it ended up being something across the Street I will need a beachfront house and from what I was told on the phone that's what I was renting My daughter was looking and looked up the address and found out that it was across the street it was not beachfront and I absolutely wanted beachfront and then when I cancel the reservation and when I reserved it they wanted me to go ahead and pay for it so it did and I canceled my vacation to their place and did I get a refund no I did not not even a penny refund and I paid them around $2,000 of my hard-earned money

There wasn't any bath soap available or hand soap in the bathroom or kitchen so we had to leave and go buy some. There was a small bottle of shampoo & conditioner for one use. But most people would bring their own I would think? Besides that everything was great. It's an Airbnb so we brought food.

We expected to have a bungalow on the beach as advertised, but the bungalows were destroyed by Hurricane. That was not mentioned in the information. However the overall facility was beautiful.

After a day of plane delays, we arrived in the middle of the night. The owner made the entire process so user friendly. It is absolutely beautiful. The apartment was immaculate. The view was inspiring. I would recommend Bungalow Beach Resort. It was amazing!

Wonderful living space and beautiful view. In a perfect location and a unique experience that was enjoyable. The elevator was a nice touch to the unique character of the space. Very happy they offered a 1 night stay without a minimum of 2 or more. very helpful and accommodating. It was pricey for 1 night, but I am grateful they allowed a 1 night rental. It was worth it!

Eschborn (10/5): Unbeatable location, beautiful beach, quaint rooms & friendly staff! - We had the best stay at Bungalow Beach Resort! Jason and staff were super friendly and answered any and all questions that we had. The location was unbeatable and the bungalow itself was so charming. They had beach chairs and umbrellas for use, and some inflatables for guests to use in the ocean. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to check out this area and have a nice, quaint stay! We did have to move our car one morning in the small lot due to pool / tree-trimming maintenance, but luckily we were close by and it was a quick need.
shar0nk159 (10/5): Complete Reaxation at Bungalow Beach Resort - This charming resort was all I had hoped for when planning a trip to Florida. Our room was clean and fit our needs completely. I loved stepping our the sliding glass door directly onto the beach. The lounge chairs were comfortable and staff put up the umbrellas each day. I loved the housekeeping system where guests put any dirty towels, etc in a basket and they were replaced along with other items such as coffee. I hope to get back there again soon.
Jillybooboo (10/5): If you prefer bungalow over condo it is perfect. - The perfect beach bungalow right on the beach. Our room was comfy and cozy with everything we needed. It was small but ample space for 2 people. In our room there was a luggage rack for one suitcase, floor space for beach bags and a small rack for hanging. Every room has a porch to stash your beach items and even go so far as to provide a dish pan to wash your sandy feet! The bed was great, pillows ok but loved the monogrammed towels and linen. Could have used a little heavier curtain to block some of the light from the sliding glass door next to the bed. The TV was streaming only so don't forget your passwords, I never did figure out how to get the local networks for weather and news. If you have limited mobility, need to roll your luggage or don't like sand in your shoes this might not be the place for you, the paths between cottages and out to the beach are beautiful deep white sand and some are narrow multi level wooden walk ways just adding to the charm. If you prefer quaint over contemporary this is the place for you.
N9799MCphilipk (10/5): Loved our Bungalow Beach vacation. - We stayed a week in mid April and it was a wonderful experience. Possibly the most relaxed vacation experience we've ever had. Our cabana was on the sand facing the ocean. It was amazing to wake up in our comfy king bed to the sounds of the ocean and seabirds. The view was incredible with the white sand beach and blue sky in the background. And the beach is nice and wide, not crowded at all, with convenient beach chairs and towels provided. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The cabana was clean and quaint, just our style. 5 star all the way.
Griffl02 (10/5): Perfect - Love this resort. This was our 5th visit and hopefully won't be the last. We had bungalow 112, perfect for couples or families. Great location. Very clean and friendly staff. There is a car park. We usually leave our car there and use the trolley bus.
stephaniemL5123ZF (8/5): Adorable, affordable, close to the beach. - This bungalow resort was perfect and absolutely adorable. So convenient to the beach. Close parking. I can't say enough good things about this place. We stayed in the Pineapple Bungalow. i would say that if anybody is overweight, it might be hard to fit in the bathroom or shower. It was a tight fit for me and I'm a size women's 10/12.

FlashBack351 (10/5): Beautiful place - 2024 Trip...our second stay here. Another fantastic stay at the Bungalow Beach Resort...such a cool place amongst all the concrete "resorts". We love the more old school places and BBR is one of them. Right on the beach and not too far from anything you want to do. Nice clean bungalows, helpful staff, quiet and relaxing. Awesome place for sunsets...can't say enough good things about our stays there. We'll be back!!

Colleen (3/5): Poor - Nice beach with beautiful white sand Room was cold and the heater was an air conditioner that would blow hot air and trigger the over head fan to blow cold air while sleeping. TV was broken for 2 days and spoke to manager about the problem, but had no answers. The bathroom was the smallest ever! I’m 5”1 and weigh 120 and had trouble fitting in the bathroom! The door to the room was warped and wouldn’t close properly.

The access to the beach will so convenient and this particular stretch of beach is so user friendly. It was a wonderful stay. I will stay there again.
Tour127871 (4/5): Property needs updated - First- the positive was the view, quiet atmosphere, comfortable bed. But to be transparent- we were disappointed in the room & the property. We have stayed at many older, beach properties but this was just old & tired. Not maintained- the room or the grounds- expected more especially with rates of almost $500. We love Anna Maria & will return- just not here.

akikol2017 (10/5): Great Couple’s Getaways - My husband and I got married on the beach at Anna Maria, so we booked Bungalow Beach Resort to celebrate our 10th year wedding anniversary. Enjoyed walking distance to the restaurants on the beach, collecting sea shells on the way and back. Enjoyed gorgeous sunset from the patio every day. Drove short distance to the beach market at Coquina Beach and purchased fresh pastries for our breakfast. The room was spacious for two of us, great privacy, and very cozy. It may looks outdated, but it adds to the character and cuteness. The place is a hidden gem and highly recommended for a couple’s getaway!!!

Ceceila (6/5): Not worth the money we paid. - I liked how close our room was to the beach The air conditioning consisted of loud wall units. There were multiple levels and ceiling heights in the unit. The bathroom shower floors looked like squares had been shodily replaced due to mold and hidden by bath mats. The engineered hard wood floors looked like they had been water damaged. The door to the unit had broken blinds. The smaller bedroom smelled like water damage.
Triznizzles (10/5): Best Beach Holiday .. - We were looking for a relaxing vacation where we can grab a cup of coffee while rolling out of bed and on to the sand to watch the sunrise. Well this was it!! The bungalows are adorable, clean, well kept with comfy beds. There’s a refreshing pool for those who don’t enjoy the sand in their toes. In the evenings after watching the sun go down you can enjoy some music while sitting by the fire pit. The bungalows are equipped with the basics (coffee pot, fridge & microwave) for an enjoyable holiday. In town we hit a few restaurants, for breakfast Mademoiselle Paris crepes were delicious and you must try the Lamb appetizer at The Porch. All in all it was one of our best beach trips. We just booked again for my bday in Nov .. Come join us 😎✌🏼
Amelia (10/5): Exceptional - Cute Bunagalow, great location. Coffee maker broke and within minutes had a new one with zero issues. Would definitely stay here again. The comforter on the bed felt like a towel. Also the bathroom didn't have a wall to ceiling enclosure, which we could tell by the pictures before booking.
JudithS291 (10/5): Old Florida At It’s Best - The perfect place to get away from it all. This beautiful resort is tiny and is Old Florida at its best. The beachfront cottages are situated literally in the sand. There is a pool, a large outdoor chess/checkerboard, and barbeque grills. The room in which we stayed had a gulf view, a full kitchen, queen size bed, a porch, and plenty of ambience. There are televisions in the rooms, but they are not necessary. Wi-Fi is available, but it’s best to just stash your phone and enjoy. Although several good restaurants, some beachside, are close by, we never left the premises, and ordered out for meals. I highly recommend the Bungalow Beach Resort, and would stay again in a heartbeat!

karenbV683IC (10/5): MUST VISIT THIS GEM - We had a wonderful time at your cozy little resort. Location could not be any better!! The checkin was quick and informative. The free postcards and mailing service was a really nice touch. We stayed in bungalow 108 and it was perfect for my family of 3. All units have two separate entrance with private deck, just steps to the most amazing beach. WOW was that beach stunning. We had everything... grills, fire-pit, beach loungers, giant chess, and pool. We loved it!!! The bed was super comfortable and the pull out couch was perfect for my son. Kitchen had everything we needed Including coffee. The bathroom was surprisingly spacious and the jacuzzi tub was a bonus for mom

Little buckets outside door to put water and rinse feet before entering bungalow. Area to grill. Floats available for water. Friendly staff. Parking lot was small. Makes you want to take the only place you cannot (handicap)

Adam (9/5): Quaint, quiet beach resort - Great location, with easy access to the bridges, trolleys, and lots of restaurants. The beach was not too crowded. The bungalow itself was small, but cozy. The staff was very friendly and communication was great leading up to the trip and while there. The front desk was only open from 9am-6pm, but that wasn't a problem for us. The bathrooms in the bungalows were not very private, with no ceiling and only a sliding accordion-style door to separate it from the bedroom. The shower was incredibly small, and made it hard to move (especially for someone over 6 feet tall). It was a little pricey, but everything these days is.
Christopher (8/5): Relaxing getaway at a world class beach with stunning water. Simple and classic for a calming time. - Great for a couples getaway. Location was excellent and right on the beach. Rooms were cozy and cute and had all appliances and utensils. Beach chairs were comfortable and separate from the other beach goers. Central location and easy to get to Ana Maria main shopping drag. Made getting beach towels easy with their basket method. Staff were kind and welcoming. AC units were noisy but worked well. There were no bath toiletries beyond soap so come prepared. No coffee cafes close. At least we couldn’t find one until we got back up to Ana Maria shopping district. No hoses to wash off feet, using the foot-baths were ok but not super effective.

WinterandHope (10/5): Cute and Cozy Bungalow - Best part of my vacation - the cute bungalow that I stayed in during my vacation on Annia Maria Island! I did not want a hotel with a marble lobby...I wanted to walk in the sand and out to beach each morning with my coffee immediately after awakening! I interacted with a total of three staff members in the office - all very friendly and each made me feel welcome... The Coquina Bungalow had everything that I needed - kitchen stove, refrigerator, and utensils. Located near Dolan Park and trolley ride away to Leffis Key Nature Preserve - also, not too far from Grassy Point Preserve...All nice places for photography... I will not rent a bike next time / I will walk or take the trolley everywhere - the bike paths can be very narrow and close to traffic at times, but the trolley runs very frequently and is so convenient...trolley app was helpful. I had to get a driver to take me to Robinson Preserver which was worth the trip! I will return - a vacation that I will never forget! I miss the dolphins already...
Robert (6/5): it was nice to walk right out of the bungalow unto the beach. - the location was great. facility to park, however, busy street to exit from parking lot. in unit 105 noisy a/c wall unit. foul smell coming from water in bathroom toilet and sink. we also stayed in unit 103 and found neither one of those issues.

tanyav702 (10/5): Relaxing Beach Resort - Bungalow Beach Resort was exactly as described and met our expectations for a relaxing beach vacation. We stayed across the road from the main resort in #115. Even though we had to cross the road to get to the beach and did not have a view of the gulf, the accommodations were very comfortable and met our needs. The bungalow had two bedrooms, which allowed us to have our son and his girlfriend visit for part of our trip. The bungalow was very clean and had all the necessities, including a fully stocked kitchen. The beds were probably the most comfortable I have experienced away from home! The staff were super friendly and responsive from the time we booked and throughout our stay. The beach by the resort is very quiet and provides a nice place to relax away from the other busy areas of the beaches we observed on the Island. The only downfall was having to carry chairs down to the beach. We would recommend Bungalow Beach Resort if you are looking for a low-key relaxing vacation.

Irene (5/5): The rooms need to be updated, especially bathrooms. - Difficult to pull out from parking lot onto the road with the sharp bend and bushes causing blind spot. The beds were very comfortable. The pool is very nice. The bathrooms were in terrible shape.
