The unit we rented needs some attention (fireplace didn’t work, balcony door wouldn’t lock, smoke detectors chirped all night and we had trouble with temperature control) but overall it’s a beautiful property and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful.
• Teddy (8/5): Beautiful - Zalanta was ver nice! Beautiful and clean! Location is great for walking to restaurants, shopping, casinos. Spacious and the staff was helpful! We had a problem with not having hot water in our unit and the fireplace did not work. Zalanta moved us to a different unit. The fireplace worked but still no hot water. We could not shower. That is the only negative. Very nice place… beautiful and clean.

• Cheryl (8/5): - The room was absolutely amazing. The only gripe I had wsa that the mattresses seem to be extra firm, as do the pillows. Other than that, the view, the fireplace, the kitchen - all amazing! The staff was also very knowledgeable and helpful. Wonderful job.

The staff was extremely helpful, seriously offered the kindest gestures the entire stay. We enjoyed the Mountain View room, spend a little extra more to reserve the room with the view you will not be disappointed. Can’t wait to stay here again!

Everything is close by so you can easily walk to whatever you want to do eat or have fun at the beach or the mountain. Our room was fantastic everything was state of the art and in new condition. The pool and the fitness center were also well maintained and great to use. We will be back for sure.

Staff was very friendly & accommodating. 2 bedroom condo was spacious & had everything we needed for our stay. The location of the resort was perfect… walking distance to shopping, restaurants & a block away from all the stateline casinos.

Hiking within walking distance. Easy walk to the lake, nice views. Everything maintained well, easy parking on-site. Modern mountain interior, large walk-in shower, well suited kitchen.

• Robert (4/5): - The Wi-Fi internet doesn’t really work and only sometimes barely works. We’ve stayed here 5 times and the resort is beautiful but this is the second trip this has happened. Wi-Fi in rooms is so weak you essentially can’t use it (cuts out every 5 minutes or so). For a 4 star place and this price you think they would figure it out by now.

• Jason (8/5): Minor glitches - Overall exceptional, but some negatives: Sinks in one bathroom- the J-traps were clogged so after shaving took lots of time to clear hairs. TV wall mounts were weak- in one room partially falling off (photo) and precariously hanging. Kitchen stocked, but no spatula and no bowl. Why important? Was making pancakes and can’t do without bowl & something to flip with- bought both and donated. Many positives, but if going to command $1200-$2000 a night it needs to be perfect and was not perfect.

There are plenty seating: high chairs at the kitchen, dining set, couch in the living area and in the balcony. Utensils and appliances are plenty. The swimming pool has the deep side which is great for laps. Staff are responsive. However, maintenance is minimum.

• Cassi (8/5): - I’ve been eyeing this property since it was being built and am so glad we finally got a chance to stay here. We had a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom unit and felt completely at home. It was decorated beautifully and stocked well. For the prices you pay I was a little disappointed the ceiling fans were grimy and the dishwasher wasn’t unloaded. We also didn’t get a chance to use most of the amenities due to covid restrictions which was unfortunate. Otherwise, the staff was absolutely lovely! They had plenty of parking in a lot in the back. They are located directly across the street from heavenly village which was great for grabbing takeout. I would highly recommend Zalanta!

• Rachel (10/5): Our Anniversary trip to Tahoe - We arrived late night and were greeted with two very happy and thoughtful people named Nick and Melissa. The next day, we met bubbly Katy, Sydney and eventually Emily. We greeted each of them every time we passed through the lobby and we exchanged great communication on all things Tahoe. They were always readily available to provide anything that we needed from a small repair to the blinds, extra pillows and towels to sightseeing and dining ideas. We truly felt very well attended to on this visit! Our only major disappointment was that the hot tub was closed due to COVID restrictions - a big bummer for us, especially since so few people were there. Overall, this was a wonderful place to stay in a super convenient location. We WILL be back!!!
• Tim C. (10/5): We loved this condo at Zalanta! - We had a wonderful trip to Zalanta. The layout and space is beautiful, the staff was very attentive and accommodating. Great views and surroundings. It is located right across the street from the gondola to heavenly ski area Right in the center of all the action near the casinos etc, so if that's what you're looking for it is ideal. Not too far from the lake which of course is always beautiful and there is a private beach that you get free admission to.

• Lorne (4/5): - Very disappointed in this property. Unit was poorly stocked. Had to ask for basic items such as trash cans for the bathroom, kitchen towels , detergent and the list goes on . Felt like we were living in a fish bowl . The window of the master bed looked right out on the deck of the next unit. Area was very loud and we had to complain about the noise from a party below us. Did not meet my expectations for a high end property. Way over priced for what we got . Would never stay here again.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Beautiful property. Incredible location! - LOVED staying at Zalanta. We stayed in a 3 bedroom with 6 people and it was more than comfortable. The room, the property, & the pool was all amazing (couldn’t use the gym or spa, unfortunately, due to Covid-19) but I think the best thing about the property was the location. You really can’t beat it. We will definitely be back!

Having access to good internet (25mb/s), full kitchen, private laundry, and plenty of space and bathrooms for everyone... there really was nothing to complain about here. Great central location, close to plenty of shopping and dining, there's no real downside here minus the presence of an actual lake view, but it is a close walk. Definitely so much to like here and we definitely plan to return in the near future!

It felt like home away from home. The only thing we forgot was to bring some groceries to make use of the full kitchen however that was fine because the resort was so close to everything and we ate out most of the time. Definitely enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back again.

It is right across the street from Heavenly and within walking distance to Lake Tahoe. Because the place is new, they are still working on providing the level of ”service” that equals the price.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Prime Location - The property and room were beautiful! Centrally located in South Lake Tahoe-right across the street from Heavenly Village and the gondola! The building consists of privately-owned condos, so you don't really get all the amenities of a full hotel. Room was clean and spacious. Beds were very uncomfortable though...super hard and the sheets were also quite stiff and scratchy. Not entirely safe for children. We had two toddlers and they immediately found all the safety hazards they shouldn't touch like the stove knobs for the gas range, the cords on the lamps, and the door to the room can be opened easily with no secondary locking system.
