They were great. - Owners had done all they could to make an old building refreshed and comfortable. For the price, the room was clean, soft towels, comfy beds, microwave, coffee machine,etc.was good. Right alongside the harbour. Given limited food options off-season, maybe some bread for toast would have been handy.

Rooms are warm and inviting , with most equipment you would desire i,e, toaster, microwave. coffee machine and all the other things required. Unfortunately, our only disappointment was that the 'Fish & Chip' shop was closed on Sunday night and we had to go to Alberton for dinner - and it was also closed on Mondays.
- Hutchinson (8/5): Lovely quiet place to stay, with thoughtful provisions for visitors, but could do with some TLC - Pt Albert is a lovely quiet little town, full of history and charm. I imagine that it is very popular in the summer given it's waterfront and safe waterways for sailing. The room at the motel was quite large but needed a bit of TLC. The floor of the shower needs a refresh or a thorough clean. The plumbing made some alarming noises at times too, but not all the time. The photos of the accommodation didn't quite reflect the actual location.

- Russell (5/5): Ok but it was an old motel and could have been better. - Good comfortable bed. Lighting good. Internal furniture: no bench or place to prepare a meal apart from dining table. The top of the thin high cupboard was home to the jug and the toaster. Microwave balanced on top of the fridge. The fridge was crowded with minibar drinks which took up a lot of room - they had to be removed to fit our food in and the minibar items took up rare space on top of the tall thin cupboard. Only sink was in the bathroom . A white bucket was provided for washing up and water was heated in the jug. The bbq was located in an old shed about 50 m from the units. It was old but worked ok, but some old rubbish was in plastic boxes there.

- Peter (8/5): Good base for stay in Port Albert - Our room was equipped for a semi-self catering stay and suited us perfectly. A few nice touches like butter and jam as well as milk, and some minibar items in the fridge. Unfortunately the weather was awful during our stay and this probably contributed to the WiFi dropping out but it was ok after being reset. The mobile phone signal wasn’t good either.

At least an offer to service the rooms when staying more than one night should be expected instead of simply not doing this. Poor wifi connection, but probabl;y to do with the location. Thin walls meant a deal of noises from neighbouring rooms such as TV and talk (not undertandable).
