Daniel (8/5): Hôtel haut de gamme mais très abordable financièrement, et avec un personnel très professionnel - L'hôtel est de grand standing, le personnel est très poli et particulièrement serviable. Les chambres sont très confortables, bien équipées, la vue sur le parc géniale. Bref un excellent séjour. Le petit déjeuner est très abondant mais pas assez renouvelé surtout pour un séjour de +5j, toujours les mêmes plats et cependant pas vraiment de proposition pour un petit déjeuner continental bien que l’hôtel se dise HOTEL INTERNATIONNAL. Et enfin, le niveau d’anglais est très décevant, oblige d’utiliser le traducteur, là aussi pour ce niveau de prestations, les employé/es réception devraient parler anglais.

At first glance it is the typical Chinese upscale hotel covered in way too much marble, but unlike so many of those I have experienced over the years, the beds were comfortable, not rock hard; the breakfast buffet had both western and Chinese options; the rooms were spacious and well appointed; and the bathrooms were spacious and practical. I was glad for the comfort of the stay and wouldn't mind returning.

Andrea (8/5): Great Birthday Stay 💕 - I stayed during my birthday weekend and on the morning of my birthday, the staff brought me a very beautiful cake with candles and spoons and plates. It was a beautiful gesture and great way to start my birthday. They also spoke English which was a pleasant surprise. The hotel is rather far from downtown so travelling to get anywhere be it by car or metro, you have to travel for at least an hour. It is a bit inconvenient.

bryonyb856 (8/5): Nice, clean hotel - Stayed here on a group tour holiday, a lovely clean hotel, there is a bar in the lobby, a shop, a gym, games rooms and also a pool. We didn’t use the facilities much. The metro is about 15 mins from the hotel and it takes around 40 mins on the metro to get to Chengdu. The location of this hotel is not good for getting food, it is very local and no one speaks English, as fairly robust travellers, we really struggled to get anything in the area so spent a couple of hours a day travelling in and out of Chengdu.

doreed2018 (10/5): Incredible customer service - Hi stayed at Felton Gloria after my flight was unexpectedly cancelled and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The hotel amenities are equivalent to any high end luxury hotel, but what really stood out was the customer service. From the very beginning, I felt like I was taken care of by the friendly and helpful staff. Such a positive experience, do yourself a favor and stay here!
Timaeee (10/5): The perfect relaxing spot with perfect service - I was in Chengdu for almost two weeks for business reasons and enjoyed my Stay at this hotel very much thought as an English-speaking person in China often it’s not so easy but the service in this hotel was just amazing. In all Hotel areas most of the people are speaking English or can reach out to someone who does. I felt always welcome whether it was in the restaurant, the pool area or just for a stay in the hotel lobby. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. I don’t know what to say better about a hotels service. The rooms, in my case a king size bedroom (business room) was clean with a high level of equipment. There are also some English tv channels like BBC and HBO besides the standard Chinese channels. The pool is clean and not very crowded. The breakfast was of good quality, also several western gimmicks like croissants etc. The hotel is located near a nice park and also only a few hundred meters from the next metro station which drives directly into Chengdu downtown and is very affordable. I would totally recommend the hotel and come here for future Chengdu trips as well.
ILOVETHEWORLD6 (8/5): Great Hotel, great Staff - We stayed at this wonderful hotel for 3 nights. The higher up, the better. Our room was on the 9th floor and I wish we could have been higher up. The rooms were great. Clean and spacious. The staff, reception, restaurant etc were great they helped me when aIinjured myself and when we couldn't figure out how things worked or if we needed sth - all very patient and friendly. It was not easy communicating though, since most of the staff only spoke chines, but we managed anyway. Food was good - great breakfast and dinner as buffet or in the other restaurant. The subway brings you into town faster than a cab - it`s a bit far from the city center, but there`s a lovely little park just next door.

lynn53cats (8/5): Nice hotel - The room was a decent size and the bathroom well equipped The restaurant had an international buffet which was not cheap and not international! There were no vegetarian options at all apart from salad. We asked for a vegetarian pizza which took half an hour and was completely uncooked with the base still stone cold but the top burnt black! However staff were very kind even giving our daughter a little panda teddy.

I found it's extremely pleasant to stay there, all the staff were very friendly, the services and rooms were superb. After one week travel in Chengdu, my son said that the best food was breakfast buffet in this hotel, quite a surprise for me since we had gone to a lot of nice restaurants in the city, which is renowned for delicious food. jeffreyr718 (10/5): Very impressed! - I have been very impressed by this hotel. The rooms are beautiful and the hotel is very well kept. I enjoyed using the gym and pool in the recreation area. The breakfast was excellent (both Chinese and western options). The staff is friendly and very responsive. I had a problem with my in room safe and it was fixed in 20 minutes of the time I asked them to look into it. A really great hotel if you are visiting the Wenjiang part of Chengdu and working with colleagues at a local university like SWUFE. I highly recommend it.
KCLizard (10/5): Beautiful hotel - The lobby is spacious and nicely decorated, the meeting spaces are nice, and the rooms are good. The room had a nice view, a good TV, and a comfortable bed. The staff was very helpful, and they took good care of us during our conference there. It is in a suburb so it is a bit of a drive downtown, but it is near the Southwest University of Finance and Economics and not too far from Mt. Qingcheng.
julieking15 (10/5): Excellent hotel - I travelled to China in July with my sister and young daughter. Our 1st stop was Chengdu (population 10 million) where we stayed at the Felton Gloria Grand hotel for 2 nights. This is a fantastic 5* hotel. The rooms were clean, spacious and had everything that you would expect from a 5*. The pool area and spa are lovely I must admit the water was a bit too cool for my liking (this seems the norm in hotel pools in China. We chose to eat lunch and dinner there both days. The buffet, if you are a big eater or like to try everything is the best option. There is so much selection, you could be there for days and the food tastes delicious. There is a courtyard/seating area outside at the back of the hotel, make sure you put on mosquito repellent there are quite a few gnats about. Dont have a clue where we actually were in relation to the actual city centre, think we were in the centre but as Chengdu is so vast and not many people speak English we only ventured out by taxi. Taxi to panda base takes about 40 min. Jinli Street about 25 min.
MariaWei (10/5): The hotel is very good - I stayed at the Felton Gloria with my mom and younger brother for ten days. I am eleven years old. I think this is one of the best hotels I've stayed in. Almost everything in it has good quality. The food in it is very good. I only got to eat at the buffet restaurant for breakfast, but it tastes great. It has a western style breakfast and a Chinese style breakfast so you have a lot of choices for what to eat. There are also restaurants right across the street which are cheap but good tasting. For the first night in Felton Gloria, we slept in a room which had a big window, but 3/4 of it was blocked by some sort of wall. We moved to a different room after one night, and it was much better. The beds are very comfortable, but some of the pillows are a little hard to sleep on. The bathrooms were fine, but the door to the bathroom was a sliding door and it did not lock. The light switch to the bathroom was positioned very close to the 'Please Clean Up The Room' button, and my brother and I pushed it by accident multiple times, so I suggest to be very careful with the light switches. I went to the pool in the hotel to swim, and the pool was very good. There was a four feet deep pool used for swimming, and two hot tubs. They also gave out some towels to us. There was also a place to play table tennis, which was fun, but it is not free. The staff was VERY friendly and all of them could speak English. They also can call taxis and negotiate prices for you. This hotel is very good and me and my brother hope to come again next time we visit China.
