- Annika (6/5): Hyvä hinta-laatusuhde. - Paikka oli todella siisti ja hyvin organisoitu. Myös paloturvallisuus oli hyvin huomioitu. Majapaikassa on todella tiukat säännöt -mm., että ruokaa ei saa syödä huoneissa vaan ainoastaan yhteisessä ruokasalissa, ja humalassa ei saa olla majatalossa. Toisaalta nämä säännöt varmasti takaavat rauhallisen ja sujuvan majoittumisen kaikille.

- Taina (8/5): Erittäin rauhallinen sijainti ja hyvät pysäköintitilat - Huoneissa kivasti tilaa ja reilunkokoiset vaatekaapit, huonekohtaiset jääkaapit hyvät. Vessoja oli useita niin ei tullut jonoja. Suihkusysteemi hankala ja suihkutila kolkko. Piha oli hoitamaton ja pihakalusteet ränsistyneet. Keittiö sulkeutui liian aikaisin (klo 22). Sisätiloissa vanhainkotimainen sisustus.

Tilat ovat arveluttavassa kunnossa ja tarvitsevat varmaankin hieman remonttia. Vessoissa ei bideetä. Huono äänieristys, naapurien askeleet ja äänet ulkoa häiritsivät yöunia.

We liked rest area and dinning room. Very simple room. There is no fresh air in the room, we couldn’t open a window. Little bit problems with a locker.

It is advertised as a guesthouse, it was not a building more like some barrack and the inside had a number of rooms in a line. The official website even has a logo on the left saying Kotka Hotel very misleading. For 5 nights we did not see a single other female. All tradesmen or workmen stay in this place but live in Helsinki and go home on weekends.No daily cleaner for kitchen cleaning n bin removal This place does not seem at all like a guesthouse.

Vessanpönttö vuoti hieman vettä lattialle, siitä miinusta. Tärkeät infot kolmella kielellä. Huone oli sopivan kokoinen kahdelle ihmiselle. Voisimme majoittua uudestaankin.
- Andrea (10/5): Exceptional - It was very clean, the fridge in my room was a huge plus! Kitchen was comfortable, had everything I needed. I had the best goodnight sleep there, it was so quiet in the morning! One day some guests arrived with small children, I know it is not the place's fault, but they were extremelly loud, running around screaming all evening. Also, as far as I could see there was information at the front door only in Russian, and no phone number was indicated just in case. Location was a bit out of the center but it was ok.

- Artis (9/5): Very pleasant stay. - Compact but comfortable. Had our own fridge in the room. Nice communal space to hang out. Enough toilets for everybody. Very good value for the price. Could have been a couple more showers installed. Not a problem if the place is not fully packed though.
- Arindam (8/5): Quiet stay in Kotka - The guesthouse is in a quiet neighbourhood a bit before the Kotka centre. No interaction between check-in and check-out is possible. Each room shares a toilet with another room but the showers are common for the entire guest house. If you are travelling with a cycle, you can keep it safely in the backyard. There is a grocery store within walking distance of the guesthouse. As I entered the room, it had a peculiar smell probably due to a certain disinfectant. Something similar to hospitals. Or maybe it was just due to teh old structure of the building.

- Emilia (10/5): Viihtyisä ja kodikas majapaikka - Erittäin hyvä majapaikka niin hinnaltaan kuin sijainniltaan. Keskusta kävelymatkan päässä. Huoneissa omat jääkaapit josta plussaa. Työntekijät olivat mukavia ja asiallisia :) Avaimet olivat helppo noutaa ja jättää vaikkapa majapaikalle jos ei halua kantaa avaimia mukanaan. Suosittelen!

- Pasca21 (10/5): Perfect ! - Excellent place to stay to visit the surroundings and hike . The room are of a decent size . There is one toilet for two room which is quite nice . The shower are shared , but quite clean. There is a big kitchen and living room to cook meals which is super convenient. The staff is very helpful. And the price is very cheap per night . The curtains are not very good and you will have some lights in the room at night .

Lisätyynyjä oli kaapissa, mutta niille ei ollut tyynyliinoja – olisi ehkä saanut kysymällä. Yhteiskeittiössä käytettävissä liesi, uuni, mikro ja astioita. Pyykinpesukone maksaa erikseen. Aamiaispuuro koronan takia annospussina. Ystävällinen palvelu, vaikkakin englanniksi.

- Kari (6/5): Paikka nukkumiseen mutta vain yhdeksi yöksi. - Aina auki oleva vastaanotto oli helpotus kun minun piti nopeasti perjantai-iltana löytää edullinen yöpymispaikka. Sellaisen löysinkin, sopii yöpymiseen muttei ole kovin viihtyisä oleskeluun, liian pelkistetty tyyli, vanha rakennus. Autoilijalle ilmainen suojaisa parkkipaikka.
