• Guest (6/5): It was a great location but could do with some tlc and room amenities thought about. - Bed was a great size and comfy. Pillows were great. Location was ideal for me. Pool was great being open at 7am meant I could head up there and it was very peaceful. Room was mouldy when I arrived. So I asked to change and I was moved to a different room. Second room was a connecting door so loud noises meaning I made a complaint. There was no bottled water as a gesture and the price paid I think there should be as I don’t drink coffee!! It’s a shame there was no breakfast options in the hotel. There wasn’t always pool towels available.
• Alexey (6/5): - Perfect location! Parked in a public parking lot just 1 block away for only $16 overnight. Great park for kids, great places to eat in a 5-minute radius. We booked for 4 people - 2 adults and 2 kids. Found only 2 midsize bath towels for the whole family. When contacted the host, they responded that it will be resolved within 12 hours! What? We checked in around 10 pm and checked out around 11 am the next day. Guess what? Still waiting for those towels. Also, when taking a shower, expect half of the water to end up on the bathroom floor because the shower door is not properly installed.
• Adrianna (6/5): No amenities - I liked the location and comfort of the property. My room was always quiet you could barely hear your neighbors. The staff were kind. My balcony view was beautiful. The room was affordable. It was freezing especially at night we needed bought another blanket, the fridge is tiny. There was no microwave there used to be one in the lobby. Ice machine was broken on most floors including mine had to find a floor where it worked. No soap in my room had to buy some. And another guest also asked me for soap and shampoo. I asked the front desk they said it would be delivered to my room and they never did it. They tvs had no streaming services only cable and you used to be able to use a fire stick but they programmed it so that you can't for some reason so we couldn't use the tv. 30$ a day for parking even on the street now they made the meters expensive. I've stayed here before many times and you could at least find free street parking now the free parking is intentionally 3 blocks away and hard to find.

• Marvin (8/5): Very few details that made it feel it has the potential to be a great property. - The location and the great service from Julio. He is kind and polite. I asked for a fork at the restaurant and the waitress answer was "we don't have any". Definitely a gesture that provoked me from not consuming any services in it. You need to be careful on how you treat guests as we are evaluating the kindness of the staff to decide where to eat. There are so many options around that the true differentiating factor is the politeness and efficient service of the people who run it. Without that you may not compete. Overall good, but if you know there are two guests in the room for 5 nights, you need to leave at least 4 bath towels so you don't have to come down stairs to ask for them, there was only one bath towel at arrival. Lastly, housekeeping only once during your stay is not enough for 5 nights. additionally having to request it 24 hours in advance causes issues for us as travelers as I asked for it the night before and was told it couldn't be done the following morning around 11:00 AM as it was not requested with sufficient time to schedule it.

• Guest (5/5): It’s a luxurious room at a low price if you are OK with valet, and don’t need a sub 70 AC. - The rooms are very nice. They’re decorated. They look good. They look and feel luxurious Staff stated they’d cancel because I found out there was $100~ in valet fees on arrival that I didn’t know. Staff didn’t then denied cancellation request and then booking.com then refused to accept paid cancellation for a fee. The AC didn’t work very well either. I stayed at 4 different hotels this week, a Hilton, Best Western, Uptown, and this Marriott. This Marriot felt like they cheaped out on the basics and then presented itself as luxurious with hidden fees. It was my least favorite, and the failed cancellation process felt hostile.

It's always so easy to check in and I love the view from the balcony I had no table to eat in my room this time. The elevator key pad was malfunctioning so I couldn't tap my key, which was a hassle. Also, they only give 1 towel and 1 wash cloth..I had to wait extremely long for more. If it was stocked prior, I wouldn't have had to ask.

If multiple people enter the elevator and then someone calls the elevator from another from another it slips the floor pressed since it takes a while for everyone to enter the code. Honestly, this is the only negative part of the hotel and it’s a very strange and inefficient system for the elevator.

I called to upgrade my room prior to the check in date, they let me know everything was done and my card will be charged the difference but that NEVER happened. I ended up with a king size room with a small balcony. I specifically wanted that room to celebrate my boyfriend 35th bday. Very disappointing.

Vários restaurantes na orla e fim de tarde fica bem movimentado. Minha dica é: se você pretende ficar mais na praia, pegue um hotel lá próximo. Não há limpeza e trocas de toalha de banho. Por um lado é bom, porque não entram no quarto (caso você vá pra compras). Frigobar não gelava muito.
• Phillip (6/5): - The pre-check-in registration is a pain and must be done for every visit. The room was prepaid by my company, but they required a credit card as part of registration, and they charged my card again for the room as well, and said it was just a hold. The room was not clean when I checked in. This is as contactless as possible. Daily room cleaning is not included in the room fee. The mobile key app is very convenient. The restaurant and the rooftop bar, which are not part of the hotel, are very nice with very good food and service, and the rooftop bar has the same menu as the restaurant, as well as spectacular views of Downtown Hollywood. The area around the hotel is very walkable with many dining options, including Greek, Indian, Indonesian, Thai, Sushi, and Colombian. If it was not for an aggravating registration process, the credit hold on a prepaid stay, and the lack of a proper cleaning before I checked in this would be a 4 star review but those 3 things drops it down to a 2 star review and after staying at the Circ for the third time for a week in three months I will not be staying there again even though it is not even a 5 minute walk to my office in Hollywood.
• Nancy (10/5): - I loved the hotel itself and a nearby downtown “Main Street” area with numerous little shops, restaurants and cafes. But don’t go West of the hotel - it looks like a sketchy neighborhood. Ask where Chocolata Cafe is - that’s the district that’s safe and has everything.
• Holly (8/5): - Check in was super easy, but be sure you download the app to use for the elevator and doors! Otherwise you’ll have a long code to put in each time. Our room number was wrong on the email so it took a while to figure out where we were going, but once we did it was easy going. Nice lobby, and we were able to put our luggage in holding and walk over to Publix.

• pamela (2/5): - I stayed at this hotel several times but this time I did not enjoy my stay. The pool area is not as pictured nor kept clean. The hotel always has a shortage of towels and the bathroom door was so hard to open and close that I left it open mostly. The bathroom in the lobby was out of order the entire time. Valet charge $30 a day for parking when you can park on the street free

• Filippo (6/5): Convenient but dated and privacy-invasive - Old and dated property, conveniently located if you have business (or pleasure) in Hollywood, but otherwise, not particularly impressive. The Sonder "experience" where you have to check-in multiple times, take selfies, etc. is a brutal (and unnecessary) invasion of privacy.

• Ashley (6/5): - Have such mixed feelings about this stay. The good: room was mostly as described. The location is excellent. The people at the desk I interacted with were pleasant. The views of young circle and the guitar hotel were great. The bad: I had to do the ID verification 3x. Each time it said it was approved and then I’d get another email to do it again. Code was supposed to come 3 days before. When it didn’t and I called they said it had been changed to 24hrs before. room was mostly good but the duvet was crazy lumpy and the balcony was sooo small and not worth paying extra for. After 2 days of being there I got a bill for $90 with no details, just a link to pay it. I emailed asking what it was for and was told it was for an unpaid portion of my stay- I had paid in full via Expedia. They said it was and error and they’d get rid of it. The next day I received the same bill. I did not pay it. The pool are was okay but could definitely be better maintained. There were never any pool towels, as advertised. The chairs were all stained. The water was not entirely clear. A few days in I realized my CC had been charged $700. It took 4 days of back and forth before they reversed the charge, again saying it was an unpaid portion of my bill. I wouldn’t stay again simply for the headaches.
