Good restaurant and lovely menu Room was very cold on entry
Chefs have produced a lovely menu but were unable to successfully toast bread for breakfast .
- Adele (10/5): - Fab place to stay with fab hosts and staff!
- David (9/5): -
- Glen (4/5): Room stunk like cheese. - Friendly Staff Smelled like a rotten Camembert had been hidden in the room.
- Heather (9/5): A few days away. - Staff friendly, clean. Good location for airport. A little expensive.

- Patricia (8/5): Convenient dog-friendly stay and had a very good meal. - Well-located for a stopover when travelling along the M6 and completely dog-friendly. Rooms are spacious and very well equipped, all on ground floor level. We were very pleased with the menu choices in the restaurant which went beyond the standard 'pub grub' and were very well presented and tasty, especially the starters. We enjoyed some nice wines too.
We liked the varied choices on the breakfast menu though felt that tea and coffee could have been included for residents (as we already had the option to make our own in the room that is what we did). The first room we were shown to had a bad smell but we were moved to another room without fuss.
We had a slight criticism of the restaurant (though not of the food which was excellent). There had been families eating there earlier in the evening and there was a lot of mess under our table and even on the seats.
The wines were surprisingly good. It would be nice to have more detail on the wine list to help us choose as we felt they were slightly 'undersold'.
- Louise (10/5): A super short stay. - Great location for our needs. Excellent service & very friendly staff. The rooms were fabulous, well presented & spacious. Nice tea/coffee facilities & toiletries.

- Ros (10/5): Very comfortable and highly recommended - We loved our stay at the Partridge. We were made to feel very welcome, including our dog! We had a fabulous large room with a big shower room. Very comfortable. Very minor point but no longer walks straight from the door because of motorway and main roads but grounds to wander around in.

- Jay (9/5): Perfectly comfortable - Nice room spacious and modern No Christmas service cleaning etc
- Deborah (10/5): Couldn't fault this hotel or the staff. - The property was to a high standard. The staff were tentative and nothing was too much. Food was amazing. We had the Christmas meal and it was excellent. Nothing
- mandy (10/5): A place to return to and recommend to friends. - We wanted somewhere to stay after watching football at Old Trafford.

- Malcolm (8/5): -
- Georgina (8/5): An excellent place to stay for work. The staff are the real stars, even when the restaurant was packed they were polite - Beautifully converted Georgian House with accommodation behind.
Conveniently situated very close to the motorway and Manchester Airport
Well designed bedrooms and bathrooms.
The restaurant was well laid out too allowing the restaurant not to feel cramped, even when very busy Around the back door, corridor and internal entrance there was a very strong smell of drains
- Jacqueline (9/5): -
- Leigh (10/5): -
- Carol (10/5): -
- C (9/5): Pleasant and comfortable stay with a good staffing team. - Easy and friendly check-in process. Easy access from motorway. Comfy dining experience. Minor cosmetics in room such as very small hand basin in the bathroom. This made filling the kettle awkward. Wobbly toilet roll holder and toilet flush not efficient.
- Patricia (5/5): Disappointing execution of good facilities - The size of the room and the location.
The breakfast choices and price No non slip mat for shower. Bedside light broken and staff unwilling to replace bulb. Bathroom sink did not hold water as plug leaked.
Bill claimed at end of stay incorrect but no apology when proved wrong.
- Leigh (10/5): - Great place, decorated beautifully, fabulous place to stay.
- Fiona (10/5): -
- Brian (9/5): -
- David (10/5): A very friendly, very well kept and comfortable place to stay in a very convenient location - Welcoming, immaculately clean and very good size room and bathroom. Good food.
- John (10/5): Beautiful building and location, food and drink excellent, friendly staff who loved dogs and fantastic value for money. - We linked everything about the property Nothing we did not like
- Heather (9/5): - Warm greeting and hospitable manager.
Room lovely, warm and cosy.
Great WiFi. Meal choices fine but core ingredients had "run out" which limited my meal choice at breakfast and dinner. The options I did pick were nice enough!
- Julie-Anne (9/5): - Absolutely beautiful building and our room was gorgeous, with separate access and right next to the parking area. Room was very clean (apart from stray cobwebs too high to reach on the woodbeams) and comfortable. Nice tea/coffee making area. Lovely staff and great food (dinner and breakfast) As the room had a vaulted ceiling it was hard to keep warm during the evening.
- Clare (10/5): -
- Elizabeth (10/5): A lovely stay - Our room was spacious, light and clean. The bed was very comfortable and our breakfast was excellent value. The staff were friendly and obliging. Would love to revisit. Thank you so much. Nothing to dislike...

- Susan (8/5): Good food and easy check in with nice rooms and in room facilities. - Spacious rooms and flexible accommodation.
Easy to come and go. A bit rural with no where to go for a walk nearby.
- John (10/5): - Great friendly staff, wide selection of beers, wine & spirits. Ample parking and EV charging available. Food is a very high standard and great choice.
- sally (10/5): Great food - and spacious, clean and well appointed rooms - Very clean and modern room. Great food and restaurant area. Will come back again.
- Fiona (10/5): Superb rooms offering excellent value for money. Very friendly and welcoming. - Wow! We stayed for Friday and Sunday nights (couldn’t get in on the Saturday unfortunately) and had two different rooms, both of which were superb. Very spacious which was great as we had big bags with us plus 2 labradors! The rooms are on the ground floor making getting in and out with dogs and luggage very easy. You can control the temperature in your room to your liking. The staff were all very friendly and efficient, and extremely welcoming to the dogs. We had dinner on the Sunday evening which was great value for money. We would 100% recommend The Partridge and hope to go back.
- Chris (10/5): -
- Janet (9/5): - Breakfast not included in the price which made the stay expensive
- Brett (8/5): -
- Rob (10/5): -
- Wanda (10/5): -
- Taggart (8/5): Lovely accommodation - Very cosy, lovely, good sized room, nicely decorated, quiet, comfortable, spotlessly clean. Friendly, attentive, welcoming staff. Set in nice grounds. Would definitely stay again. I think it is dog friendly as well, as l saw other customers walking their dogs around the gardens. Had the vegan breakfast option, which was nice enough. Can't comment on the food there really, as l only had breakfast, but would like to go back and have a meal there. Nothing at all to dislike about the pub or the room. Just would have liked to have gone for a nice walk, but only the busy main road to walk along from what l could find.
- Mike (10/5): - Fabulous welcome wonderful staff, excellent food and an amazing luxurious bedroom. Will be returning most definitely.
