- Melissa (9/5): Great place, be prepared to not have parking available - The rooms were terrific and loved the whole feel of the hotel. I really enjoyed the daily juice, pastry, wine and cheese. It added a very nice touch. The parking is problematic. It states they have parking but they were always full. The answer to staff was just go find something on the street... It took 45 minutes and we almost got stuck in a ditch. My husband who travels all the time and never gets angry was very frustrated. Also, there was construction happening and it began very early in the morning. Unfortunately our room was very close to the work.
- Sarah (7/5): - Cute little perks at night, face masks and sleep tea! As well as morning juice and nibbles at reception were a really nice touch. Rooms are stunning (ours was very small). There is currently construction (which they don’t tell you)! We got woken up before 7am with drilling then again just after 7 so just be aware if you don’t want disruption from noice or scaffolding as part of your view!

- Alex (9/5): Definitely will return, great location and comfortable with extra touches. - Loved the decor and style, doesn’t feel like a standard hotel. Loved the complimentary wine/cheese and baked pastries in the mornings. Staff were super friendly! Our room didn’t get cleaned on the first day (even after asking for it to when we went back out for dinner) and I was charged an extra charge when checking out, but they apologised for the cleaning and refunded me straight away for the charge - happy with their service.

- tan14 (10/5): Absolutely perfect, we will be back! - Room had a amazing view, it was a good size, bed was comfortable and it even had a doona insert that was in it's cover, not just folded between the sheets! Bathroom and shower are one of the best we have stayed in, it was roomy and had lots of places to store your belongings. It was a really great location, nice and quiet for a good night sleep yet close enough to walk to the QT wharf. That is all a 10 in itself!....but wait there is more. All the little extra's, the surprises that made our stay absolutely awesome. In the lobby, they have complimentary FRESH brekky juice and pastries in the morning, cheese, crackers and wine in the afternoon and whiskey and chocolate after dinner. Room service delivers something extra and complimentary every night, from sweet treats, to fresh milk and melty chocolates to lavender sprays for your pillows. It was genuinely a wonderful stay and we will certainly only ever be staying here for our future stays in Queenstown. Couldn't get any better!

- yanjun (9/5): The hotel's location is perfect and the lake view room was absolutely stunning. - I had a wonderful stay in beautiful Queenstown, and the service was excellent - the daily turndown service and the complimentary birthday champagne were lovely touches. However, I was slightly disappointed that there wasn't a small birthday cake as I had expected. Additionally, the ongoing renovations made getting in and out of the hotel a bit inconvenient. Overall, a very happy stay despite the minor construction hurdles! 一定要选湖景房，绝了~ 夜床服务很不错 酒店不同时段在前台还会提供果汁 小食 晚上还会有酒。 My only minor complaint is that decorative pillows I left on the floor were placed back on the bed, which felt a bit unhygienic.
- TC (9/5): Refreshing and enjoyable - The location is great, so near to the city centre, lovely stretch of beach. The decor in the foyer was pretty and welcoming. The bedroom was lovely, large and spacious especially as I was alone in a bedroom meant for more than one person. Didn’t try any of liquor but the coffee machine, and cookies etc were a lovely touch . Good food at the conference . Great views. Warm. Lovely staff both front and cleaners. Love the fruit drinks, pastries and cheese and wine. I was on the third floor, there was a foul odour in the corridor which was highly unpleasant. Unfortunately, it was like walking through a sewer .. and I was way down the corridor . Also, I found the conference dinner very minimalist a piece of salmon, leek sauce and a charred one inch thick leek .. then I was unwell and vomited it all out at 0400.

- Rajani (9/5): Overall, the stay was excellent. The complimentary breakfast and daily drinks were such a lovely touch, and I truly felt - I loved how clean and spacious everything was! What stood out most was the thoughtful touch of the room being cleaned so well every day, along with little treats left behind like face masks, cookies, and pillow sprays. The only downside was that my room was on the ground floor, so I couldn’t properly enjoy the lake view. I had specifically booked the room hoping for a clear view of the lake.

- Lindsay (9/5): A wonderful stay with exceptional service, comfortable rooms, and thoughtful touches that made the experience both relax - What we liked most about the property was the exceptional staff, who were welcoming, attentive, and always willing to help. The rooms were very comfortable, clean, and well-appointed, making our stay relaxing and enjoyable. We also really appreciated the complimentary snacks and beverages available throughout the day in the lobby which was a thoughtful and generous touch. The property could benefit from having a full à la carte restaurant rather than a menu focused mostly on share plates.

- Rowena (6/5): - The furnishings and added extras like juice and pastries in the foyer were nice. Airport bus appreciated. I was really disappointed to find scaffolding, construction and workers right outside/below the windows of my room. The main reason I booked the QT was to have a view of the lake and relaxing stay. I felt like I had to keep the sheer curtains closed all the time and keep checking to see if there were construction workers on the roof of the scaffolding before I changed clothes. Also, the fire alarm was set off at 4am on my first night/morning there. As the hotel is split, many guests piled out to the street from the fire exit at the back of the hotel on level 6 and stood around for a good 10-15 minutes. There seemed to be no staff around? Only 1 person running past telling us it was due to a toaster. I'm glad it wasn't a real fire emergency. And then, by 7.30am the construction workers arrived to start work. I felt like I was paying a high price per night for this experience.

Only issue was having the need to contact reception to ensure connection through to watch movies. Found remote confusing. We felt having instructions written somewhere might help. Enjoyed the excellent breakfasts amazing selection and staff friendly helpful welcoming. As above.

- conor (8/5): The staff were very chatty, which I loved. The room was very pretty and the view from the room was stunning. - Location is amazing! And the room we stayed in was very spacious. Additionally every morning, mid day and evening they provided free local produce for guests at reception. Juice, chocolate, whiskey, wine, etc. Construction sight.. amenities where closed and there was a fire alarm that was largely not spoken about on our last night at 3:45am with no apologies of the sort.

- Samantha (9/5): - Absolutely loved the room, the balcony and view were perfect. Bed was super comfortable and staff were so friendly. Definitely would stay at QT Queenstown again. I was aware that the restaurant was not open at the time of my stay and there was ongoing construction outside the Hotel. A little bit of noise during the day but didn't bother me too much.

- Kerry (3/5): Not what we expected from a top rated hotel. - Beautiful location however our room looked on to a road and not the lake. No indication in the booking about this. Very disappointing stay. The hotel is busy doing major renovations to which we were not alerted. Noisy and an eye sore. Rooms are tired and we had a huge crack in the basin.
- karen (5/5): Substantial Construction work not anticipated due to advertising.Breakfast also unreliable - The young staff were exceptional. Very professional to make up for the construction work and lack of advertised facilities ie pool, wellness centre expected, work people passing by our balconies I was escaping building work at my home and when I saw the building work as I arrived I was surprised. We had no knowledge of the substantial work being done but keep our minds open. My first request was I would not be next to the construction. We were room 109- the first room next to the construction work..workers walked by our room building and placing furniture. Our blinds were open and there was no privacy whatsoever. It was uncomfortable for them and us. We were woken by drills and loud building work early morning each day but Sunday. Building finishes were being completed as we walked in. Scaffolding obscured view which were the reason we treated ourselves over our budget.

Extremely friendly and generous hotel. Greeted at the beautiful new reception with pastries and juice while waiting to check in. PM, there was free champagne and cheese and even a whisky and chocolates on our return at night after being out. incredible!!
- Supakorn R (9/5): QT Queenstown is the BEST in Queenstown! - Since the hotel was newly opened on the day we arrived, the brand new lobby with complimentary food and drink all day. I was satisfied. The room I stayed faced the lake view and in-room facilities were fully equipped, they have Dyson hair dryer for the guest rooms. Overall was great and I realized the room rate was valued of money, I will definitely be back again if I visit Queenstown. The check out time was a bit early for me BUT the hotel staff was generously allow me to late check out.

- Duane (10/5): A truly Wonderful and Memorable experience! - The breakfast every morning was exceptional as the young men at the omelet station made some of the best omelets that I have ever eaten! The room was very clean and well organized! I can't think of anything negative about my stay at the QT Queenstwon!

- FarAwayCA (8/5): Beautiful views - Impressive head on lake view from our Remarkables Lake View King room that steals the show. The hotel is currently being combined with the former Rydges property just below the QT, so there is presently scaffolding visible, construction noise during breakfast (and in general), and the bar was closed. The walk from town to the hotel involves an uphill section that is quite steep but one could presume that once the renovations are complete, access will be from the Esplanade below. Some service lapses such as no hot water for one evening, but the friendly staff was, at the very least, empathetic and helpful. All in all, a quiet hotel with beautiful views that will be a superb Queenstown stay once construction is complete.
- Sinead (9/5): Beautiful views and amazing staff made up for construction inconvenience - Our room had beautiful views which is what we were looking forward to. There was some construction going on at the property and scaffolding visible from our room. We also had a big hill to walk back up to get to reception. Kyle the onsite manager really handled our disappointment well and made our stay as enjoyable as possible during this time, the restaurant was also not finished so no breakfast was an option.

- 480bradleyd (8/5): Renovations underway - The hotel is very nice but was undergoing some major renovations when we were there - this was often noisy especially in the morning during breakfast. The breakfast was very good and the room we stayed in was very nice. The bottom of the Hotel was closed for the renovation- so we didn’t not get to see the whole complex. The hotel sits on a fairly significant hill so if walking to town be prepared. It’s a significant climb back up the hotel. Ubers into town were plentiful and inexpensive (about 10NZD). They offer laundry and dry cleaning with a short turnover. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. AC was good. Rooms had hairdryers.

- Raymond (9/5): This was one of the best stays we have enjoyed at a hotel. - Large room with great bathroom. Did not have a view but not a major concern for us. Breakfast options were affordable. Loved the coffee/dinks/snack bar at the entrance, this was an unexpected bonus and a great initiative, so well done. The $ saving option assoc with room cleaning was also good The bathroom lighting was very good however found the room lighting to be a bit dim. While we didn't look forward to walking up the hill, we did feel good after doing it.

On arrival we were offered a small red wine and a savoury filled croissant…. Nice touch As we checked out next day, free coffee available as well. Free shuttle out to next accomodation in Arrowtown. Very very impressed Nothing!

- Nina (9/5): - Great location! Very comfortable. Currently under expansion, but construction noise was not an issue. We look forward to the expanded version and visiting again. As others have mentioned, it is a very short walk into the center, but a steep uphill on the return.
- CotswoldIzzy (8/5): Nice room, disappointing facilities - Nice hotel in good position about 10 mins walk downhill to the town, but currently undergoing a major construction project. Lovely big room with views over Lake Wakatipu. Comfortable bed and separate seating area. Really nice bathroom with large shower & separate bath. They have acquired a property on the lake front right in front of the QT which is currently under renovation/construction. As a result, the pool wasn’t available which was disappointing (and we weren’t advised in advance). It was also not possible to walk down the stairs to the lakeside. We had breakfast included which was, for the standard and price of the hotel, disappointing. Buffet style with hot choices available to order, but limited buffet offerings. After the first day we chose to breakfast elsewhere & didn’t eat lunch or dinner in the hotel. There are plenty of restaurants in Queenstown so this wasn’t a problem. Staff were lovely and welcoming.

Also breakfast menu needed a pancake/ fruity option. And scaffolding and workman everywhere,, a bit meh

- Gerry (7/5): Overly expensive hotel in Queenstown. - The view was spectacular. Beds comfortable and rooms spacious. Bed linen too small for the bed and continuously got tangled up. The water supply was cut off for 5 hours on two days. No Compensation was offered. We had to approach the staff and they did give us a free car park space. The restaurant was closed for a wedding function so no food or drinks could be purchased on one evening.
- Climber06725769634 (10/5): All Round Excellence - We loved our stay here, 3 nights in early February, lake view room, great staff, 5 mins walk from central town and wharf activities, delicious breakfast in spacious dining space, had dinner once as well. The hotel is shortly expanding from 69 rooms to more then 200 over the next few months. I hope they will find a way to preserve the personal and caring atmosphere.
- KiwiNingy (4/5): Worst value for money - We have stayed in a number of QT’s in Australia so we’re looking forward to staying at QT in Queenstown. At $1,000 per night -we would NOT recommend and will not come back. The location is good - walking distance to town plus the option of a shuttle The view is nice albeit the hotel in front is being renovated so scaffolds and construction noise Check in - excellent! Anthony was professional, friendly and helpful ( especially as I had mucked up the dates of my booking) The room : spacious but when you pay $1000 per night you expect everything to be too notch. Cracked sink, rusty drinks tray and no replenishing of toiletry items was disappointing. Having stayed at QT Sydney and Melbourne we expected the rooms to be more stylish / themed etc - our room could’ve been any hotel room in the world. Restaurant - we only had breakfast and both mornings found the service & food average. Our wait staff did not have a good understanding of English so we had to explain what ‘trim / non fat milk’ was, and we had to explain what ‘well done eggs’ were. The house beans were delicious but both days - they were lukewarm. In short - wouldn’t come again

It’s a reported 5 star hotel but due to renovations there were NO amenities available ie not pool. gyms etc and only 1 restaurant was open and there was a function in that venue for one night of our stay. Had to pay separately for parking.

The layout of hotel is chopped up in different levels and is not as desirable. - sizable room, clean bathroom Bed is not firm enough, no chest of drawers to put t-shirts, socks etc. Also it would have been great if there is a guest lounge with good views that friends can chat and relax in.
- M9044PEjennyd (10/5): Undoubtedly the best place to stay in Queenstown. - This is definitely the best place to stay in town. Undergoing refurbishment at the moment might have been a worry but not so as the level of service and welcome we received was outstanding. A big shout out to Anthony and Caitlin who couldn’t have done more to make us feel valued guests. We stayed one night then went to Milford Sound and returned for two more nights to. Lovely welcome back note. The attention to detail in this hotel is incredible with high end design which is not style over substance but instead adds to the experience and is to be admired. Nice touches include a complimentary afternoon welcome drink and morning coffee and pastry station at the hotel’s entrance. The town is busy but the hotel is ideally situated at the edge of town with unspoilt views of the lake but still close enough to walk to restaurants and bars. Also the Real NZ office where many of the tours depart from is just at the bottom of the hill. Highly recommend for your stay in Queenstown!
