Pricing was also reasonable. Location is both good and bad. I like the fact the hotel is not on the main road like Holidau Inn Express, but behind Spencer's. But there is no where to walk once you come out but the dirty roads of Kolkata.Nothing that Howard Johnson can do if the road outside is managed badly brother govt. authorities

Clean bedsheets and clean pillow cover are basic for any hotel. The only thing I liked was breakfast! Staffs are good.
- Mehboob (3/5): Very poor customer service - Overall in my opinion from last year gone down When you order breakfast with the staff there is a communication barrier. ie when you order 1 fried egg they bring 2 instead. My friend wanted some tea in the evening but kettle was not working. So we contacted receptionist and the kettle came the next morning between 6am-7am
- Gurpreet (6/5): Really not happy. - Already stayed in this property many times Paid for smoking premium room. But when we got the room at evening. It was really bad. We requested give us other room then the staff shifted us to other room. It was delux and non smoking. Again we asked the staff that we need a smoking room and he said give us time till 7pm we will arrange. But when i called at reception some lady staff picked up and said we are telling you in 15 min. After that there was no update from there side, after a long day we needed to rest and take bath but we were waiting for room change after no update we just let it go. As my husband walks with stick a, as he undergone thigh bone surgery , we requested the staff in the morning to give us room , he said you booked premium room and that is still not vacant and we only give you delux room , i told him i paid higher price for smoking premium room , and requested him that we only need room so that my husband can use the washroom and change clothes and we can leave for our work, and hotel can give us our room at evening when we come back. but staff said NO we cannot give you room if you change to premium one. If tou want room now we can give you delux and you cannot change it later. Very bad. They even not considered our problem then my husband used the common washroom and changed clothes standing that was very risky for his leg. As he can’t put weight on his leg.

- Soumen (1/5): Not recommended - Nothing positive It’s very difficult to find out the hotel location. Very untidy and smelly of cigarettes.
- Pushpraj (7/5): Good option for stay close to airport. But don't expect anything fancy. - Short car taxi ride to the airport. Felt safe. Staff were helpful and service was quick. Breakfast was good. The room was reasonably clean. Late check-in post midnight was not an issue. Initially we were being provided a room with twin beds despite booking for a double bed. After mentioning the same, a double bed room was provided. Carpets in the hallways stink. Room smelt of stale smoke. Room was like in the pictures but everything was a little older. Would only consider the place again if there is a need to stay close to the airport. Some aspects of the place felt like that of a 3-star hotel.

- Vishnu Rajan (8/5): Decent property, reasonably priced - The staff were very helpful and were cooperative with our requests. The rooms were small but appropriately priced. The breakfast and restaurant were fine. Taxi bookings were a bit messy. The coordination with third party providers can be a bit more streamlined.
- Eugenio (5/5): - Location is great (20 min Uber from the airport) and the room was rather quiet Only smoker room was available although I'm pretty sure I booked a non smoking room. Air conditioning smelled really badly (mould) and I had to turned it off, which partially solved the problem but the room kept a pretty bad smell throughout the night.

No control on people smoking in the rooms. The rooms especially the bathroom stinks of cigarette smell. Not good for people not used to cigarette smell or the ones suffering from Asthma.
