Wir haben sehr lange gebraucht, um im Strassenlabyrinth von Noto den Parkplatz zu finden. Es gibt viele Einbahnstrassen. Als wir den Parkplatz gefunden haben, hat uns jemand vom Hotel mit dem Gepäck geholfen. Alle sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

- Ebrahim (5/5): - Some parts of the stay were excellent - the morning breakfast, the kitchen staff, the location, were all exceptional. This is listed as a 5 star hotel, but the service and amenities available at this hotel do not match that description. We were repeatedly asked about our arrival time by phone and email, and interrogated as to why we would not arrive on a certain schedule. Once we arrived, the receptionist watched me walk up while holding a baby and a bag, but did not move to open the door or assist in any way. Another major issue we experienced - pest control must be implemented. We had quite a nasty experience with a cockroach underneath a pillow when we turned back the sheets. Due to the hour of 10pm, there was no no staff on site to assist with getting us a new room or even fresh linens.

The hotel suite was gorgeous, sparkling clean and very comfortable. Perfect location, steps from shops, restaurants etc. Noto is so beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed watching excellent musical performances while sitting on the steps of the beautiful church. We highly recommend San Carlo Suites.

Very nice products in the bathroom from Ortigia brand, nice bed linen. Sound insulation problems, perhaps dimmer light at night in the corridor, the light was coming through the gaps in the door, that was rattling every time someone came in to the building.

Front desk unattended half the time so you can’t check in or leave bags whenever you want - very frustrating at the price point and rating. Dropping bags from a car a nightmare as is parking would never stay here if self driving. Room is nothing like pictured, smaller worse lighting.

- samia (10/5): - San Carlo suites is so beautiful THe attention to every detail in this hotel is amazing. I loved the room and the amenities and it is right on the main street in Noto (with the famous Cafe Sicilia right below). The staff are incredibly helpful and the breakfast is 10/10! It's lovely having the breakfast out on the balcony. The bathroom is stock with Oritigia products from Siciliy and everything in Noto is accessible by foot. The only issue was the live band at night that played at a downstairs bar until 12:30AM when I was there. The windows are "sound proof" but the band was right below so the music was very loud. Despite this, I am still giving the hotel 5 stars because the facilities and staff were amazing.

Nothing, but if we were to give some constructive feedback, it’s that there needs to be a soundproof door separating the living area of the room (where the sofa bed is set up) from the rooftop terrace. Those birds and the street noise carries through - but if you’re sleeping in the main bedroom nothing can be heard.

We did several day trips to surrounding areas. The breakfast was plentiful and exceeded expectations. I highly recommend using Noto as a central location and San Carlo Suites as the perfect accommodation. The closest public parking spot was full between 4-8pm. We learned to get back from our outings before 4 or after 8 unless we wanted to park further away.

The staff is professional and they give you privacy as well. The Breakfast is great too, making eggs like you want them. - Salvador (9/5): Unforgettable as Noto is! - The best location in Noto, we know that cars are a problem when you visit this smaller cities with narrow and congested streets, however that would no deter us again in staying at San Carlo Suites. We loved the linen bed sheets. No complains whatsoever. The reception was punctual, the place clean, the room ample and well appointed and the included breakfast was good enough to keep us going before lunch.

- Alan (10/5): Great place, location, and service - You cannot find a more central location right in the middle of everything Noto has to offer. It is a little difficult to find the door because there is a cafe right outside with tables so just be aware. We had no problem with parking and there were no meters/cost right now. Not sure if that is always the case and parking is limited so could be a concern. The room was fantastic and had many extras to make us more comfortable with all of our luggage and bags(we travel heavy). The breakfast was plentiful and had a great variety. I cannot say enough about the host Andrea. He went to our car and helped us unload and load all of our bags. He went above and beyond to suggest and schedule great restaurants for us, schedule COVID tests(no longer needed), and also scheduled massages for my wife and I. He was a great help as I could text the number which was always forwarded to him so he responded immediately. Andrea really made us feel at home and would definitely love to stay here again.
