A única coisa menos boa, para nós Portugueses, foi o pequeno almoço, porque era um pequeno almoço mais turco, então só tinhamos pão e bolo. Mas passavamos bem na mesma!

- Agnieszka (10/5): Amazing and cozy! - Everything was as described, we arrived with bad weather late at night but the staff made sure our room was nice and warm for when we arrived, breakfast was included with the room and we really enjoyed it, we felt really welcomed by all the staff and they were extremely helpful with booking other activities. We had a few days cancellation with the weather and flying the balloons but the owner made sure we flew on the only day we could out of 5 days by constantly speaking to multiple companies and arranging everything for us so we are extremely grateful for that! Nothing everything was great

We had a small balcony which was great for watching the balloons in the morning and the lights at night. It was an easy walk into the centre of town. Unfortunately the pillows were very lumpy and the room was on the small side.

The staff which I believe are family were very friendly and accommodating. They helped with setting up tours and transportation at costs far lower than other hotels or tour companies.

The housekeeping service was outstanding, with fresh towels and everything else taken care of daily. We were especially impressed by the kindness and professionalism of the staff, from the reception team to the kitchen staff. We truly enjoyed our stay and would be more than happy to come back again. They made sure you had everything you needed and also helped to arrange balloon tours and airport shuttles. Very kind and I felt right at home. The location is excellent, you can watch the balloons from the terrace. Breakfast was also great, and you can have it in a cosy room or outside overlooking the city. Good value for money, would stay there again!
- Thomas (10/5): Helpful staff, best Turkish breakfast and great views - We had an amazing stay here for our first time in Cappadocia in this once in a lifetime cave hotel and hot air balloon ride. The boss (Can) and his brother was super helpful with booking tours, providing information about Goreme and giving us good food recommendations. One tip for hot air balloons is that its dynamic pricing. Changes per the time of the day, time of the month, season and how many balloons fly the day before. We booked online and paid double in price. And trust me when I’ve checked every website provider out there from GYG, Klook, direct We were also super lucky to fly on the first morning we arrived. 6 days prior, it was all cancelled due to weather. We were here for 4 days and 2/4 days were flying So just leave it to the hotel to help you book, they can always get a good price. In March, price can range from 60 euros to 150 Amazing breakfast with tasty home made food with great terrace views We also did Green tour + ATV + horse riding = all booked with hotel Nothing. Everything was amazing. Note there is no air con or exhaust fan in the room but it was fine for us in spring

Le personnel est très aimable et à l’écoute de vos besoins. Nous avons adoré le petit-déjeuner, très copieux. L’atout de l’hôtel est sa terrasse sur le toit, qui offre une vue panoramique sur toute la ville, et bien sûr, le matin, sur les montgolfières. C’est sûr, nous reviendrons !

- Tristin Jahaira (10/5): A cosy cave stay with warm hospitality, great location, and unforgettable rooftop balloon views. - We loved everything about Avlu Cave House! The owner was incredibly accommodating and friendly, and the room was clean, cosy, and warm even in winter. The cave-style interior gave us the exact experience we wanted in Cappadocia. Breakfast was great, the rooftop had an amazing view of the hot air balloons, and the hotel is pet-friendly — Patron the cat made our stay even better! The location is perfect, right in the center of town, so we could easily walk to restaurants, cafes, and shops. They also arranged some of our tours and our airport transfer, which made everything so convenient. For what they offer, the price is such a bargain. Honestly nothing — everything met or exceeded our expectations.

- Arda (10/5): - We had an amazing stay at Avlu Cave House! We arrived 7th november and leave the avlu cave house 9th november.The room was beautifully designed, clean, and very comfortable. The cave atmosphere made the experience truly unique. The breakfast was delicious, with lots of local options and a lovely view. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful — they made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cappadocia! Nothing to say everything was amazing

- Irina (10/5): Отель в настоящей пещере! - Очень атмосферный отель. Жили в номере без окон, но какие окна могут быть в пещере☺️. С террасы вид на шары и горы. Завтрак отличный. Расположение хорошее. Персонал супер! Не хватало свежего воздуха ночью, а спать с открытой дверью страшно.
- LIPING (5/5): Overall, not value for the money we paid - Location is good, easy to explore Goreme and surrouding area; Breakfast is ok Bathroom is very damp, had to request heater on, but only heated for two nights(we stayed for 4 nights); Main bedroom is on groud floor, whilst the bathroom is on first floor, we had to walk up and down during the night, and the steps are irregular. Double bed bedding is the same size as the bed/or smaller than the bed frame, we had to cuddle together when sleep to get both of us covered. Reception staff recommended hot air ballon trip with Euro 225/person on the arrival check in, we rejected and he ignored us after that.(we guests said hello each other in the morning breakfast, but he's never say anything!)

- Oscar (9/5): Excelente Vista y Ubicación - Tiene una excelente ubicación, lo que permite movilizarse al centro de Goreme caminando, tiene una excelente vista y puedes ver los globos volando en las mañanas. Tienen una bonita terraza y miradores. Estuvieron pendientes para que estemos cómodos, mantenían la habitación con la calefacción encendida para que cuando llegues este agradable. Nos ayudaron con buenas recomendaciones para cenar y también para hacer visitas a algunos lugares, lo que nos ahorró costos evitando pagar tours innecesarios. Si no tienes planes, te pueden ayudar a coordinar. todo estuvo bien.

- Fatima (10/5): - Avlu Cave House was a wonderful property to stay at. The hosts were very kind and welcoming and helped us with arranging activities, including the hot air balloons. The hotel rooftop has a beautiful view of the town and the hot air balloons can be watched from there. The beds were comfortable to sleep in. The breakfast every morning was very delicious, with a large variety, which we all enjoyed very much. The location of the hotel within Goreme is also very central, it was a short walk into the town area. We would highly recommend Avlu to anyone who is visiting Goreme.

Breakfast were all delicious, great variety, well thought with their diversed customers. Location very convenient, very close to Goreme town center. Great and superb view for air balloon flying above the terrace and terrace has a nice setup to watch flying air balloons. Our stay exceeded our expectation. Highly recommended. It fit all our needs so nothing that we don’t like.
- Selina (10/5): Prefect stay in the heart of Kapadokya - Great family style hotel in the heart of Goreme. Only a quiet street just around the corner from the main drag. We had the balcony room and it was fantastic to have our own private space to look over the town. Caught the morning balloons on the rooftop. Staff are lovely and helpful. Also - best Turkish breakfast we have had in all of Türkiye!
- Andreia G. (7/5): Good but expensive for the real experience - Only a few min from the town, staff was very approachable and friendly. Tv with many connections failures; Poor replacement towels only when we asked, no daily cleaning. Breakfast was very very limited ( no fruit, no toast, no hot milk, only warm tea or coffee). Terrace didn't meet the expectations ,only a few pillows, and the floor without decoration compared with the photos on the website. For the price we were expected more.

- Laura (7/5): Una experiencia agradable - El personal es muy amable y te dan todas las facilidades y te intentan orientar y ayudar con todo. La ubicación es buena y el desayuno muy completo. Una terraza preciosa en la que puedes ver los globos muy cerca. Y puedes dejar el equipaje el tiempo que necesites al check out, incluso te prestan sus instalaciones, baño etc si lo necesitas. El check in fue a la 1pm muy tarde, contando con que veníamos de un vuelo de madrugada. La habitación estándar es muy muy pequeña, con un precio bastante elevado (80euros en sept 2025) para lo que ofrece, con un baño también muy muy pequeño. Pasamos frío durante la noche y fue un poco decepcionante, nuestro alojamiento más caro de todo el viaje para vivir la experiencia de dormir en una habitación cueva y…no fue lo que esperábamos .
