• Whayne (8/5): Spacious, modern, well equipped and great location at good price. - Excellent location with views over the lake and only 5-10 minute walk to the shops and the lakeside board walk. Although older apartments they had been extensively renovated and were very modern inside. Value was exceptional as we had a two story apartment to ourselves and it was very spacious. Kitchen was fully equipped with every thing you needed and they had washing machine and external clothesline. The bathroom was spacious and they had additional toilet on top floor. Hard to fault given the price. Would highly recommend to anyone. Bed was a bit too firm for me but that's about all I could fault.

• Ellis (9/5): A very nice stay overall, will definitely come back again. - Comfort and location were very pleasing/just a short walk to shops and restaurants. We found the beds were very comfy. The pool was very satisfying, also the views were very nice from the upstairs balcony. Although not overly challenging the uphill walk to the property was at times testing after walking around and doing some sightseeing. Where we found that the people and the shop staff were very friendly.

It’s the kind of place where you can just relax in the house and do nothing, a real holiday. The house is lovely, though it’s a little older and could use a bit of a tidy-up to make it even more comfortable.

We appreciated the washing machine and clothes drying options. Great to find a lovely apartment that is dog friendly. A few basics like salt and pepper provided. Only just enough crockery. Had to run dishwasher between each meal . Hard to find replacement bin liners. Found one underneath the liner in the toilet as we were leaving. very few dishwasher tablets.

• Heather (4/5): Disappointing - Good location, great view. Alot of things needed fixing in unit 6. Sliding door was hard to open. Couldn't access the wardrobe in main bedroom as tv was blocking. Couldn't work tv channels. And other problems. I sent a list of things to be fixed and the manager said she would organise to get fixed.

Bed was very comfortable, outlook was great, very peaceful location Furniture was adequate Greater number of plates, bowls, cutlery would have been good to avoid using the dish washer so often. 1 small good non stick frypan, 1 encrusted with burnt food and large one totally unusable (dirty, unsafe non stick) Mugs were badly stained (very off putting)and needed creme cleanser, which wasn’t available

No coffee machine but when I booked said there was one. Aircon unit was falling apart and tapped together. Couch armchair discusting and dirty. Large Picture frame in main bedroom fell off the wall and just missed us in bed.

• Deanna (4/5): Wouldn't stay here or recommend it. - The Linen and Location The mould in the glass salad, the horrible dust in the carpet, blinds/ sheers and under the vanity, The used bandaid in the kids room the toilet roll behind the main TV , the cobwebs everywhere inside and on the balconies, the balcony floor is revolting, windows were dirty and when it rained it rained through the bathroom window that could not be closed as the ceilings are 12 foot or more. I would never recommend this to anyone the place needs to cleaned extremely well and carpets either steam cleaned or replaced my.son struggled the entire time there with Asthma.

• Austin (9/5): Great location and views - The location is great...just a few minutes walk from the main shopping strip with great views over the lake towards the sea. Perfect view for the New Years fireworks. The kids loved having access to the pool. The apartment is spacious with decent facilities. Check in process was a breeze. Pet friendly!! The apartment could do with a deep clean and some furniture is a bit tired but neither really affected our stay (and understandable in pet friendly accommodation). Some of the car spaces are on pretty steep angles which can be an issue for those with mobility issues and for kids opening heavy doors.

This was the third time we - The view, the pool, the cleanliness of the property and the location As a mature visitor we found the stairs a challenge but I guess you can’t have such a wonderful view without some stairs

• Marina (9/5): Was fun filled, while still relaxing - It has a fantastic view, from the main room, and the main bedroom. The flow of water from the shower goes out into the rest of the room, it didn’t drain too well in the shower drain.

Kitchen and laundry facilities were great. The carpet on front doorstep was torn and a trip hazard plus looked bad. some of the windows were not clean, the one in the laundry had a spider and cobwebs which looked like it had been there a while.

• Julie (9/5): Great location , very clean and well equipped property. - Location was great. Could walk to shops, pubs and clubs for dinner too. Nice views from balcony and near the water. My friend found it had too many stairs and when we arrived the outside lights weren’t on and it was dark, he fell over as he couldn’t see very well in the dark. The car park is very uneven and it wouldn’t be great for people who have trouble with mobility. No heater upstairs so a bit cold at times.
