- mayrirose (10/5): - I love the breakfast The room is very clean
- Sandra (8/5): Convenient to university. - Clean and convenient to the university. Nice breakfast and overall good. Convenient parking. Well…I know it was graduation weekend, but the nightly rate was slightly obscene. We booked over a year in advance and paid more for three nights than a week in most hotels. I know it is the norm, so nothing to be done. But really.
- Kathleen (2/5): -
- Walter (8/5): - Nice upscale facility! Guy who checked us in needs a job that he enjoys. Obviously this one isn’t.
- Kevin (9/5): Very nice. - Nice layout and clean.

- Michelle (9/5): Easy process - Close to campus
Clean and has breakfast Nothing
- Peyman (7/5): -
- Staelens (8/5): - Clean
- Maria (4/5): Clean and nice facility. - Clean and convenient Our room door broke. They had to place us in another room. Multiple issues with the door keys as well.
- Maria (10/5): - We loved our stay. It was clean, free breakfast, pool, and my favorite... a later check out then most hotels. Short 7/8 min drive to UofM stadium and many restraunts. Loud AC unit, but i feel most are.
- Kim (9/5): Comfortable and safe - I loved the decor in the rooms and lobby area as well as outside the elevators. Very nice and the lobby and food area was very inviting. The parking lot was small.
- Sidena (10/5): The bed was beautiful. The breakfast was great. Everything was phenomenal there. The host people at the check-in stand w - It was nice and quiet area. Right outside of the campus boundaries for hash bash event. Very small parking lot
- Odette (9/5): We had a great stay, the room was spacious and comfortable, the location was just what we needed. We were very impressed - I loved the size of the 2 king with sofa bed room. We’re a family of 5 with 2 dogs and the space was perfect for the value. Would have loved to have microwaves closer since we were on the 5th floor and I would have loved to have coffee available all day but those aren’t issues overall. We had an amazing stay and said we would come back for our next visit!
- kellysR8460FZ (2/5): Pool cold - The outside of the building could use a little upkeep. The rooms are beautiful. The pool is cold. Ask them to turn it off and they said the county controls that every wanting to bring family for a night of playing in the pool I don’t recommend this place. Restaurant doesn’t have many things to order.

- Rebeca (7/5): Disappointing. - Breakfast is fine. Location is also good. I have stayed at this hotel many times and liked it very much. This time, under new management, things have changed. The water they used to welcome you with (2 small bottles) are gone. The public wall near the elevators (Third floor) is peeling. The body lotion in the room's bathroom was empty. When leaving, the staff member at the check-in desk felt that giving me a printed final bill was too much work for her. She insisted that was the job of Booking.com....
- Laura (7/5): It was a reasonable price. - The lobby was nice. The smell in our room smelled like mold. It permeated our clothing.
- Stradinger (10/5): -
- Susan (9/5): Enjoy this hotel overall. Would stay again. - Great atmosphere, cleanliness, look Breakfast was fine, not great

- Lakayla (10/5): Great stay even with the few indiscretions - The beauty of it all from the decorations to the inside layout of the room
The breakfast was great but wish they had other meat alternatives then pork sausage BUT over all 10/10 Nail clippings on floor I noticed

- Madajah (10/5): It was great!! - Supper clean
- Robert (8/5): - Room was good. Close to were we needed to go. Breakfast was less than desired.

- Mindy (10/5): Great clean place/ easy with animals/ good breakfast! -
- Nataly (9/5): - Good, clean, so comfortable and good size of the room. It was really nice place to stay. Unfortunately when we checked in lady didn’t tell anything about swimming pool, gym. In the room we had some coffee and tea but no information about price, when I asked they said if I used I need to pay for that but they didn’t say me a price.
- JHuber24 (10/5): Night away - Beautiful hotel. Rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was a good size. Nice shower. There is a bar in the lobby. Free breakfast. There are several bars and restaurants close. Some within walking distance.

- elliottp297 (10/5): A delightfully convenient, clean and comfortable hotel near Michigan University - The Hyatt Place is hands-down my favorite hotel in Ann Arbor.
The interior is well-appointed and modern, staring with a sleek atrium lobby that features a library, a bar and plenty of space to relax.
I enjoyed the breakfast buffet during each morning of my stay, especially the bagels and hot tea. The heated indoor pool is also a terrific amenity on cold Michigan winter days.
I stayed here with three of my family members, and we found our room to be quite spacious. The beds are large and comfortable, making for a perfect night's sleep.
I usually visit town to see sporting events (Go Blue!) and visit the nearby medical school campus. This hotel's location is perfect for both purposes. It is also not far from Kerrytown, an especially pleasant neighborhood of the city that is home to many good restaurants and small businesses.
Overall, I could not recommend this Hyatt more. I look forward to staying here again on my next visit to Michigan.
- Allgor (9/5): Happy with stay - The clean environment with helpful staff The assessable had a bathtub and a shower.

- Cheryl (8/5): - Breakfast was decent, actually! There was a male employee cleaning it constantly, and we truly appreciated his efforts, but didn’t get his name!! He needs a raise!! The pillows are awful!! Huge and just hard, don’t know why hotels get these, should have a couple of different ones in the armoire to make all travelers more comfortable.
- Danielle (9/5): -
- Kelli (9/5): -
- Raymond (3/5): - Charged me 50$ after saying I had not paid
- Deon (9/5): - I enjoyed the shower, bed quietness of the room. thank you so much
- Jay (10/5): Elevator noise at each floor was annoying. - Breakfast was very good. Fresh fruit and top products TV had two bright spots at all times on the screen. Lack of streaming programming or music Chanel
- stephanie (6/5): Happy with everything except the pool situation. - It was good, rooms were clean and comfortable, allowed pets last minute. Check in was easy, location great for our purposes. Booked for the pool and there were unattended children (5kids from 7-12ish) that were children of the staff and we could not use the pool safely with our grandson. It was the worst experience ever in a hotel pool.
- Dale (10/5): It was awesome! Next time it needs to be longer -
- Cody (8/5): -
- Aniello (10/5): -
- Mindy (10/5): Easy affordable clean stay in Ann Arbor! - It’s perfect for an easy stay in Ann Arbor Nothing

- aprilhD9029IL (10/5): Cleanest Hotel that takes pride in hospitality, industry - I stayed here for three days during Christmas, and it is the cleanest hotel in the surrounding area. They take pride in their attention to detail, and it shows the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was exquisite and different every day.
- Nicole (8/5): -
- Ronda (9/5): Would book again - Clean friendly Shower water pressure
- Bianca (10/5): Great location, affordable, nice rooms and breakfast. - Breakfast was a great selection! Nice rooms, comfortable beds and pillows, clean facilities. The staff was very friendly and went above and beyond. Easy check in and check out experience. Highly recommend. A bit pricey for a Sunday night in my opinion, but I do feel it was a good value overall.
- Nathan (8/5): Very good - Clean
- Anne (4/5): Mislead by the promo photos of bookshelves…I ended up at a sports hotel. Not for “Hotel Buffs” - The only thing I “liked” was that it had last minute availability, because I had messed up another hotel reservation and found myself in Ann Arbor with no place to stay. Also, because I had asked the staff about the HVAC system - which I’m currently having redone at my own home, so I understand problematic ducting - they did NOT, presumably at their discretion, charge me $20 per hour late check out fee until I could find somewhere else to go. Generic. The breakfast tasted…prefabricated. It’s a chain hotel, so I had low expectations…but I do drink fresh orange juice every day. This was not a delight. I love scrambled eggs…but they had…no flavor. (Luckily there was Tabasco sauce.) I was starting to wonder if maybe I myself was losing sense of taste, but later had an excellent meal in town. (I don’t think it’s me.) Probably the breakfast is produced by people who don’t care that much about food.
What happens is that I had messed up a reservation at a boutique” hotel…and ended up at…clearly a chain (for the same price). The staff seemed…vaguely interested…clocking hours…basically doing their jobs but not very “present”. I had felt mislead, because, when I found myself in Detroit Airport…suddenly realizing that I did NOT have a room at one of the few boutique hotels in Ann Arbor, I scanned all of the photos of available hotels between DTW & Ann Arbor, I chose this hotel because the promotional images looked “cozy,” with bookshelves. When the cab drove up to….the same hotel I’d hated the first time I came to Ann Arbor, I kept asking them about driver if he hadn’t made a mistake. He hadn’t. This is a generic hotel with generic amenities and a noisy, but not very effective, HVAC system. I called the front desk in the middle of the night, because it was so noisy I couldn’t sleep, and staff offered to move me to another room. But the hallway was noisier than the room, and the next room the same. I’m now (one day later, at the hotel I thought I had originally booked. It is warm…but not noisy. I think this hotel needs to have HVAC rebalanced. A lot of noise, but the “fans” emit no air flow. I guess people stay at this hotel because it’s a convenient place next to sports amenities. And they probably are used to that. But I love hotels and the hospitality industry in general. I felt…misled by the promotional ”academic” photos on the website, and I think they should get a technician in to check HVAC.

- Linda10708 (10/5): Great Game Weekend at Hyatt Ann Arbor - Wonderful experience. Friendly front desk staff. Loved the UMich decor. Tasty breakfast. Appreciated that I was provided with a late checkout.
- Marta (8/5): - The air conditioning was soo loud couldn’t sleep.
- loripH8138RN (2/5): Disappointed - I have been going to this location for business for 5 years. I have had a few bad experiences there but I never complained. This visit they billed me for a no call for a day even though I was there and checked in. Upon check in I asked for daily housekeeping, yet for 4 days no one came to clean or bring me new towels. I called 3 times to the front desk. Each day I came back from work I called the front desk and told them no one came. They said they left a message for the manager and told him to call me. I never received a call. After 5 years of travel there monthly I will never be back. They also billed my personal CC when they were suppose to charge the companies card. Very disappointing. Also the phone and air conditioner was not working.
- W1689WWjohng (10/5): Disappointing lack of customer service - Avoid this hotel at all costs. I was charged twice for my stay, and the hotel was unresponsive to credit one of the charges. It was established that the error was not on my end but rather the person who checked me in. I made ten calls to this property to get the issue resolved without a return call from the manager, Amario. I travel for a living and stay in hotels 125 nights a year, including Hyatt. The lack of responsiveness to this issue they created is mind-boggling. Avoid this property at all costs. Hotels are in the hospitality business. Nothing hospitable about this property. For the record, this was a hockey trip, and our team booked 40 room nights. Between those numbers over the course of a season, along with my team of 58, it amazes me how much business a company like Hyatt is willing to lose by not doing the right thing.
- Pamela (9/5): always enjoy my stay at this location - my favorite place to stay in Ann Arbor
- Lisa (8/5): Would definitely recommend the Hyatt for a modern spacious stay - Loved the open spaces. The lobby was inviting and comfortable to sit in and meet with friends. The breakfast was hot and delicious with lots of options. The rooms were nice and comfortable. Need more doubles. Our fridge was off when we arrived, I know it is to save money which is understandable, but if they know someone is occupying that room it would be nice if they could turn it on. Also the TV was a little confusing and when we called down to the desk they couldn't help us over the phone, however they did send someone up within a half hour to help.
- HSIEH (10/5): -
- Bella (7/5): - Staff There was no heat . Heater didn’t work. It was freezing in the room.
- Phillip (10/5): - Staff was very helpful
- gary (9/5): The Hyatt was an enjoyable experience that I would be happy to repeat in future travel. - Breakfast was excellent. Room was warm and bed comfortable. The shower was great. Hallways were pleasing and everything seemed fresh and new. The TV options were quite limited. Could not watch basketball on Big Ten Network or hockey on FanDuel Sports.
- V1145PTheatherb (10/5): Great Service - Was exhausted from a Hospital visit for friend- Hotel quickly checked me in and room was perfect. Straight to sleep-quiet and friendly staff.
- Claudia (8/5): - A great stay for one night! We flew back the next day and had a very good stay at the Hyatt Place. The staff was very friendly and breakfast was really good. Nothing for us
- Mafan (10/5): - Comfortable, spacious, and clean room. Basic standard room amenities. Breakfast was varied and sufficiently filling.
- S5370YPkeithf (10/5): Great Stay in a Clean, Modern Hotel with good amenities - My husband and I were in Michigan for a week and spent our first night (Mon) and last night (Fri) here. The hotel is great. The rooms are excellent. The walls/door are thick enough to block out sound from other rooms and hallway. The hall carpeting is nice and clean. The stairwells (we walk a lot!) are clean. (We stayed in 3 hotels on this trip, so I'm comparing why THIS place is SO good.) The lobby area is really nice, and the bar area has big tables and small tables. (Recommend: Order parmesan fries to go with your drink at the bar!) Check-in took only a few seconds and we were in our room ready to chill. GREAT TEAM! (We also liked that there is a sort-of separate seating area in the room so my husband could go to sleep and I could still work without disturbing him too much.
- Keith (10/5): - Great bar.
I've stayed here 4 times. I love the parmesan fries as my go-to snack when having drinks and meeting friends at the bar.
Quick business trip to Michigan. Stayed here Monday and Friday. Great place to finish the week in MI. Only 25 min drive to the DTW airport and direct flight on DL back home.
Great stay. GREAT STAFF. Kudos to the room cleaning crew!
- Antonio (10/5): - Amazing !!
- Kenneth (10/5): - Clean room. Nice breakfast bar
- lauragX1179EC (10/5): Great hotel! - Really nice lobby/bar area with a nice business center for getting some work done. Would definitely stay again! Rooms spacious with 2 king beds!
- Thomas (10/5): - A lovely hotel for the price, stylish yet affordable, nice bed and very quiet.
- Christine (10/5): - Clean, large room. Easy parking
- Glendon (10/5): -
- Giselle (10/5): -
- Michael (10/5): - Large room. Nicely furnished. Clean. Helpful staff. Close to restaurants, shopping mall, university. Shuttle service to nearby mall
- Tracy (10/5): - Staff is super friendly. Hotel is very clean and comfortable.
- renerS7902HN (10/5): Beautiful as always - Very clean and nice very friendly staff. My room was gorgeous and clean. I love the bathroom. And it was very quiet. Which we loved.
- Kevin (10/5): - The hotel room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The air conditioning was disappointing as there was no way to keep the running to have constant ventilation. So we either were too cold by keeping the temperature low for constant air flow, or too warn by raising the temperature when we got too cold. Rather disappointing for an otherwise quality hotel
- Danniel (8/5): - Nfc f hi it w tv n l on cdw wi nb sh oue w e v m
- Vikrant (4/5): - Decent property but terrible customer service. Receptionists just go through the moves, no one can keep eye contact, nobody smiles. No thank you or “how was your stay?” Terrible breakfast food. We came about 15 min late for breakfast and everything was already put away. We asked for done bread, and the server didn’t even offered to toast it, it tasted awful. No outlets in the bathroom, no mirror in the room .
- Samantha (9/5): Peaceful and relaxing. - The property was very nice and clean and quiet. Staff was nice and helpful. I also like the noon check out time My only complaint is the drink I got from the bar was not my favorite, but I could have just ordered the wrong thing.
- Lise (10/5): Great location, clean rooms and delicious breakfast - Very clean. Friendly staff and great location. Nothing. Everything was perfect
- Hana (7/5): - They don’t clean de Room everything day they don’t change the towels every day also and even they don’t make the beds every day. This is something you have to say to the persons.
- Robert (10/5): - Clean and quiet
- Samantha (8/5): - If you are looking form something affordable, good night's rest, and gym then this is a great place to stay. The continental breakfast was just ok and there was a room on my hall that was smoking, otherwise a great stay that got the job done!
- MeiLing (8/5): -
- Sheri (10/5): As it should be - The front desk guy was amazing. Super nice and efficient
