• Sophie (10/5): Perfect - Amazing value for money. Couldn’t have asked for better. Lovely staff, perfect location, comfy beds and clean. There was also a refillable water station and a working fridge combined with a beautiful pool. I felt bad for the fish in the small tank

The room was basic but clean,. It had open shutters so could have been a lot of mosquitos but I wasnt bothered in the dry season. No car access for the final 100 m - just scooters.

• Lisa (10/5): Heel fijn om te ontspannen in het bruisende Ubud - De locatie is top, je loopt het rustige straatje uit en je zit in het bruisende Ubud. Personeel was super lief en ze hadden ook Was service was heel fijn was. Het gratis filter water was ook een fijne toevoeging. Het enige was dat de kamer een beetje damp bleef, dit was ook wel rond de dagen dat het had geregend helaas.

• Matthias U. (9/5): Beautiful Balinese House in Central Ubud with the kindest staff - Kadek and her staff were ever so kind and changing bookings or arranging trips was super easy. Sayong House is so central in Ubud that it‘s easy to walk around or grab a bike in no time.
• Ana (10/5): - Lindo lugar, muy céntrico y con buena area para caminar y muchos lugares buenos para comer y mini markets. Caminando se llega a muchos lugares de interes. El personal es muy amable. Lo recomendamos para disfrutar de Ubud y sus maravillas.
• Luke (8/5): - Really good spot if your not too bothered about rooms. Negatives were that it is up an incline alley, which was hard for suitcases. There was also no elevators, worker helped us with bags. But my 70y/o mother inlaw struggled a bit with the stairs. You could request a room on the ground floor which I assume they would be more than happy to accommodate though. Also the shower and the toilet are same room with no walls or separation. (Shower goes directly onto toilet floor, like a wetroom, which is a slipping hazard)

Es un buen sitio para campamento base para hacer excursiones en la zona de Ubud y cerca de muchos restaurantes y tiendas. • Alicia (9/5): Estancia agradable en Ubud - La ubicación, la atención del personal y el diseño típico de casa balinesa. Podías encargar laundry de un día para otro. Camas cómodas y ducha amplia. El desayuno, era económico pero con poca variedad para niños. Solo café y té.
• Karen (9/5): Tranquil low key property very handy to the hustle and bustle of Ubud central - The room was nice and traditional, the bed was huge and they had a sheet on the bed which I like. Access to drinking water to fill your bottle was good. The air con was OK, not great, so the ceiling Fan was well used. I liked the sound of the fountain at night. The location is great down an alley way off the main street. Walking access only and watch the Dog poo land mines in the evening. Lots of cafes, restaurants and massage places in the area. Money exchanges close by. Access to everything you need really. Monkey Forest is walk-able from there. So is the Ubud Palace for the night Dancing displays. I loved the pool, despite the fact they are waiting for repairs to it, it was still lovely to swim in. Good Value for money and lovely Lady/family who runs it. Breakfast wasn't great, it's cheap but better to eat in a local cafe, Sorry. The toilet is beyond the shower so you have to cross the wet floor tiles to get to the loo once you have had a shower. Need some nets on the windows so you don't have to pull all the curtains for privacy. The rooms are dark with all the curtains drawn so you need a light on. Air con was a bit noisy at night but seems to be the norm in Bali. Noisy Guests arriving at 4 am en-mass, too early to check in but not the owners fault.

• Mette (8/5): - Enjoyable small and cozy rustic bed-and-breakfast with access to a small pool. The staff was wonderful. The price is hard to beat and the location is in walking distance from Ubud Palace. The wood carvings on the doors are amazing and the beds were comfortable. We did not explore the food options, but opted for finding cafés in town.

• Stéphane (9/5): - Accueil facile, personnel serviable mais qui vous laisse tranquille pendant tout le séjour, personne n'essaie, à aucun moment, de vous organiser d'excursions qui sont pourtant un des gros business de la ville... Hôtel en plein centre mais incroyablement au calme. Nuits excellentes, matins tranquilles.. Chambres très spacieuses, bonne literie, frigo, lavabo, armoire... Salle de bain vieillotte mais tt fonctionne (douche bien chaude même si pas bcp de pression) Superbe terrasse parfait pour chiller, prendre un thé ou autre petit déjeuner. Menage et lits faits ts les jours, serviettes changées si besoin. Super localisation, tout à proximité... Super rapport qualité-prix, hormis les problèmes de wifi, on y a passé un excellent séjour. Un seul gros bemol et c'est dommage car sinon ce serait vraiment top (le point est perdu là): Wi-Fi très insuffisante et très instable. (On a été obligés de consommer une partie de nos gigas internationaux persos). (Un plus petit bémol: piscine mignonne mais à l'extérieur de la cour principale, au fond de la ruelle et sur une sorte de jardin terrasse...les pavés du fond se décollent donc un panneau signale pour l'instant de faire attention en attendant une maintenance future....).

• Jon (4/5): Ordinary hosptality and dodgy tours - Not good wanted to book for week hoeever only got four days. Even after thr first night i was asked to shift rooms. Second tried one of their recommended tours and told pay twice the average price of 225,000 rp simply i was the only on the tour seems misrepresented. Tour company was dodgy and several degrees of separation ( had two drivers in one morning payment went to neither of them) from the contact at the hotel.

• Yvette De Leon (3/5): - The a/c worked great! The bathroom was rudimentary basic. The pillow smelled like human natural oil. No breakfast offered and the staff did not speak any English. The walk to the hotel/house was down a deep, dark, and uneven pathway with many entrances to other home/hotel stays. In order to lock the room when you leave, you are given a key for a padlock that hooks two door rings together.

• lucio (8/5): Um recanto de paz. - O lugar é incrível de bonito e super bem localizado. O jardim é muito bem cuidado os quartos tem uma varanda privada onde é servido o café da manhã. A porta de entrada do quarto é uma obra de arte. O quarto é bem espaçoso. O banheiro deixa um pouco a desejar por que não tem box e o chuveiro fica no meio do banheiro. Quando você toma banho molha tudo. Mas é bem limpinho. O café da manhã é limitado, vem um prato feito. Não tem suco. Somente café e chá.

This place is great value for money and I will keep coming back. I have also advised many friends of this property over the years. only problem was the bathroom needed some attention. Would have liked to have a fridge, especially this trip as I was there for a longer stay.

The property itself is quite vintage, the building exterior was amazing . Karma , who picked us up in the airport was very nice and he drove us around Bali, highly recommended.

The tripple rooms were much nicer than the double we had, may kick the kids all into a double next time, and the wife and I will have the tripple. Friendly staff and photos of the property were as shown online. The bathrooms were older and could do with a paint and a freshen up. Only very small Issues

• Armanda (10/5): - I really enjoyed the place and people. It is an easy going place and Kadek os always available to give support and help um out merda. The guys that work there are really kind, smiling all the time. It was really good to wake up hearing birds singing in the nice garden of Sayong House. I highly recommend this place in the center of Ubud. It was not really a problem as I really enjoyed my stay. The WCs need a renovation - but they were very clean, and for me that is the main point! I just leave here the comment only for supporting the continuous improvement.

• Roberta (10/5): Un piccolo angolo di paradiso - E' stato un piacere soggiornare in questa struttura. Lo staff è disponibile, la posizione è top...nelle vicinanze ristoranti, market e souvenir. La nostra camera si affacciava su un piccolo tempio presente all'interno del giardino.. La camera era spaziosa, con scrivania , un armadio e un terrazzino con tavolo e sedie e aria condizionata. Buona la colazione , con diverse opzioni sia dolci che salate. La colazione vi verrà portata in camera all'orario richiesto. Bella anche la piscina , con gli sdraio. Consigliato!!!!!
