• Tanguy (10/5): Incroyable - Super hotel. Café, eau et biscuit disponible toute la journée. de nombreux restaurants autours. Personnel très aimable et serviable. Endroit très calme pas trop touristique, j'étais au rez-de chaussée et on n'entend absolument pas le bruit des scooters ou des chiens qui aboit. C'était le silence le plus absolu. A savoir qu'il n y a pas de personnel la nuit. Je pense que l'insonorisation est plutôt mauvaise mais j'étais en basse saison donc ils se sont arrangés pour nous mettre assez loin des autres et donc c'était le calme absolu. Si vous venez durant la haute saison, c'est peut-être différent. a savoir que les autres clients sont en général des thaïs qui travaille dans les environs donc pas très bruyant.

Nous avons pu réserver une voiture avec chauffeur pour nous rendre à "the red lotus mer de lotus rouges sea" et à Ban Chiang et Phu Phra Bat deux sites archéologiques classés UNESCO. Nous avons bien apprécié le café, thé, chocolat et de petits en-cas mis gracieusement à disposition . Wifi un peu instable dans notre chambre en rez de chaussée. Peu de restaurants dans les environs où les personnes comprennent quelques mots d'anglais et les cartes sont essentiellement en thaï !

Portes qui claquent, clients irrespectueux la nuit, circulation de la rue... On a l'impression que les véhicules passent au pied du lit. Avec moins de clients c'était effectivement plus calme. Les photos ne reflètent pas la réalité. Le bâtiment et les chambres sont anciens, les peintures ont perdu leur éclat et la saleté s'accumule Le balcon est un séchoir à linge grillagé qui n'est pas nettoyé. Les chambres, puisque j'en ai eu 2, n'avaient pas été nettoyées correctement depuis longtemps, le sol n'avait pas été lavé ou alors avec une eau sale. J'avais les pieds sales en y marchant. Les murs, mirroir et interrupteurs sont sales, beaucoup de cheveux présents dans la salle d'eau. Selon les chambres les rideaux ne sont pas occultants. Le jardin avec quelques chaises en plastique n'a aucun charme particulier. L'espace commun le long du parking n'est pas nettoyé. Les tables sont vraiment sales.

• Jonathan (8/5): Fairly nice place overall in a quiet neighbourhood that is well-located. - Big fridge, good-size bed, ceiling fan did a good-enough job. The bathroom was nice. Wardrobe was a good size, and so was the desk. Outdoor area by the main door had seating, hot water, mugs/plates/cutlery, and such, and they provided the biggest bottles of water I have ever had at any hotel. Wi-Fi was dodgy, so sometimes it was hard to get work done on the computer. I had a ground-floor balcony, however the door to it did not really seal at all, so I had a never-ending supply of ants coming in that part of the room (near the fridge and desk), and to cut a long story short, at one point had to spend a while removing several dozen of the little creatures from my suitcase, which was full of clothes and souvenirs, so I had to comb through absolutely everything. I had not expected them to bother entering my case, however... there you have it.

• Ylee (10/5): Easy, clean, quiet, and close to central. - The area is very quiet, close to Central, and within walkable distance to UD Town (use the bridgewalk by 7-Eleven). Wifi is decent and TV has about 30 channels. The shower has hot water, room has strong AC, and has all utilities as shown in the pictures. I will definitely stay here again in the future. No late check-in so I have to look for another accomodation if arriving late.

• Wolf (8/5): Really nice budget hotel - Spacious room, good airco, reasonable comfortable bed, good linnen and towels, working bathroom, everything well maintained (rare in Thailand) and very clean. The cleaner comes by every second day. There's a common space outside with hot water, tea and coffee, a microwave, dishes and cutlery and in the morning you can make toast (with pineapple jam, or pineapple jam or sometimes even pineapple jam). The wifi is okay but like most wifi in Thailand not as good as the 5G you will probably have on your phone. It's not the cheapest option in Udon Thani but still very affordable and certainly worth it. It's clearly a family operated hotel with super friendly staff. There are washing machines on coins, nice extra there's music in the common room .... but it's a playlist of about an hour with elevator music on endless repeat. After a week you will start thinking about setting it on fire

• Glenn (8/5): Always a good stay - Our 4th stay here this year, best budget hotel close to UD town, Central shopping centre, night markets etc. We stay for the location and parking. (Can walk ). Clean, hot shower, tv, aircon all good. Its also very quiet. Basic breakfast but adequate to get you going. 7/11, street stalls, some restaurants etc out the front. My only complaint are the beds, usually too hard for my liking, but at this price standard practise for Thai hotels at this price point.
• Dominic (7/5): Clean budget hotel in a quiet neighbourhood - For the price the room was quite acceptable; comfortable bed and a serviceable bathroom. It was fine for a one-night stay. The neighbourhood was quiet, and it was only a short walk to nearby local restaurants and shops. A basic breakfast was offered (toast/coffee) but I didn't partake due to time constraints. No real complaints given the price; the lights were a bit bright perhaps, and the furniture selection a bit random, but as I was travelling by myself these weren't major issues.

• William (8/5): Not there for tourist stuff but if you need a doctors or hospital this is close to AEK International - The best Hospital in Northern Issan AEK International is not to far from this Hotel. I had an appointment and this hotel worked out very good. Not to far from UD Town Mall were I was able to get a new led screen for my Apple phone from a little shop right in front of Lotus market. They fixed it in about 2 hours. Price was very good and the staff very friendly. I live in Thailand so I'm use to the areas where working class people work some others might find it run down but to me it part of the charm of life in Issan.

But it was so quiet, yet close to everything I needed within a small radius. Nothing, really. There were a few punitive rules and penalties, but at least they were clear.

• Subir (10/5): Felt like home! - I stayed in a private room on the ground floor, with my own private patio/balcony, overlooking a small garden in the backyard. Very clean, decently-sized room with ample furniture, closet space, and a desk. Bathroom was squeaky-clean. My room was quiet with decent sound-proofing. Daily housekeeping available. Two bottles of water provided every day. Great wifi! The front desk has a toaster, microwave and hot water which guests can use 24x7. They also have bread, jam, tea, coffee and cookies for breakfast. There's a large garden area with seating - definitely my favorite spot! There's parking space for cars and motorbikes. The kind lady at the front desk goes out of her way to help guests with anything they want. Plenty of street food options right next door. Also spotted a couple of restaurants and bars nearby. My bus dopped me at Central Plaza. I walked over to the hotel in 15 min. UD Town and the bar street is 10-15min away. I'll stay here every time I am in Udon!
