The sweet girl at the front desk (Stephanie) was absolutely precious and so very kind and always helping. The housekeeping supervisor was very friendly and even helped us get our valet full of luggage out of our room. The lady working the breakfast bar worked diligently all morning to keep the bar full. She was also super friendly. We were very impressed with the staff as well as the establishment. We stay in several hotels for dance competitions and this by far surpassed them all. Great job Marriott!!

Ms. Laura made sure to have us a hot delicious breakfast every morning And kept the area so clean and stocked and she always did it with the most beautiful attitude and genuine smile; She also makes the most scrumptious chocolate chip cookies that are to die for! The front desk staff was ALWAYS SO WARM AND WELCOMING! They were always attentive, friendly and made us feel like family! - Tara (1/5): Rude employees nice location - Location was good The heat didn’t work in our suite also was told when we first arrived they didn’t have any suites available after I had already booked and paid the attendant ended up finding us a room however it was a queen and I booked a king suite. Front desk representative I believe his name was Warren was rude he did apologize the next morning and said he was overwhelmed/frustrated but at that point it was too late.

Especially KaTrina who was very flexible with our requests and always greeted us with a smile. Breakfast was nice and standard but the service received by Laura was top notch. Recommend for great value and location was great for groups traveling utlizing convention center.

Laura Monterroso that I had the pleasure seeing every morning at breakfast was fantastic. She was so friendly and ran a tight ship. Constantly cleaning and stocking the breakfast items. She would engage every guest with a smile and offer kind conversation.
- Christopher Fisher (9/5): Nice Room at Decent Value With Many In-Room Amenities - I liked that the room had a refrigerator, including icebox, small stove, small dishwasher, and a small amount of kitchen items, such as cups, plates, and silverware. The bed was reasonably comfortable. The room size was decent for a solo stay, but a little small for a family. The staff at the front always was welcoming and had a smile on their face. I had a room by the highway. It did not bother me because I travel with a sound machine, but if I didn't have that sound machine, I'm sure I would not have liked that traffic noise when asleep. Additionally, the continental breakfast was typical quality for these types of free breakfasts, but definitely not great. They only provide room service once every three days.

- Q7593ENjs (2/5): TownePlace Suites by Marriott Mesquite terrible experience - One-Star Review: TownePlace Suites by Marriott Mesquite, TX – Avoid the Highway-Side Rooms! I wish I could give this place zero stars. My stay was ruined from the moment I checked in. When I arrived, the front desk agent handed me keys to a room facing the main highway and casually said, “Let me know if you have any problems with the room.” That immediately raised a red flag, so I asked why he’d say that. He shrugged and claimed “no reason.” Sure. The windows have zero soundproofing. It sounded like semi-trucks were driving through the room all night. You hear every single vehicle on the highway – no exaggeration. I barely slept. The next morning, the same agent was still at the desk (half-asleep, head nodding). As I walked up, I told him, “Now I know exactly why you warned me.” He just laughed weakly and said, “Yeah, I know… I don’t know why they don’t fix it.” He admitted the highway noise is a known, ongoing issue and they’ve done nothing about it. I asked to be moved to a quieter room. He said they were sold out and couldn’t help me. That was it – we decided to leave and find another hotel. Ten minutes later, back in the room packing, the phone rings. It’s a different employee from the front desk saying they “found” a room for us after all. Too late – we were already checking out. I told her I expected a full refund for the awful night. She said she couldn’t issue a refund but could “adjust my departure date” (which does nothing when you’ve already paid for the night you couldn’t sleep through). She promised the general manager would call me to make it right. That was days ago – still no call, no follow-up, nothing. TownePlace Suites Mesquite clearly knows about the unbearable highway noise on one entire side of the building and continues to put guests there anyway. The staff basically admits it’s a problem but offers no real solution or accountability. Save yourself the headache and book literally anywhere else.
- PS1271KJV (8/5): Thanks Micheal! - We booked a suite for a 3-night stay at this hotel and were very pleased with the accomodation. There are two full-sized closets with plenty of hangers. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you could need. The complementary breakfast is very nice. I want to give special recognition to Mixhael who was on the front desk when we checked in on Thanksgiving Day. The hotel was sold out and he really went above and beyond to make sure we got the suite we wanted on the south side of the hotel away from the 635 highway noise. He was awesome! We will definitely stay here again.

Our house is being worked on and we have had to stay at a hotel, Mrs Laura in the mornings is always the sweetest lady ever at breakfast. She always makes a point to talk to my son and bake him cookies! And Mrs Katrina at night at the front desk is so friendly. My son and I spent many a night talking to her and telling her about our days. These two ladies really made our stay seem like home. As I’m dealing with the house repair stress, they made our days welcome and stress free. I would recommend this hotel to anyone because it is definitely 5 out of 5 stars!!

She always tells everyone nice things and if you need help she will serve you. This hotel also has great service if you need anything they will get to it right of way. The staff are always nice and respectful. I will love to stay here again.
