I specifically booked this room type because I was told it was on the quieter bayside. Got stuck with a queen which was overlooking the bar/club outside which is crazy loud all night. We got moved to a studio for 1 night since it was more quiet. Moving rooms with a toddler and all of our stuff was a huge inconvenience but we were refunded $50 for the price difference of the room. Cleanliness: upon moving into our new king room the next day, my toddler found an open glass gallon bottle of vodka on the floor. Management comped our parking costs. The furniture in the room was filthy and stained. In need of deep cleaning. We have stayed in several Residence Inns, this was the worst experience. And not once did anyone apologize. Better off looking anywhere else.

• Dany Boy (8/5): Very good room but need improvement in Breakfast and Bar policy - Room was spacious, well equipped. The localisation was great. I went to the bar of the hotel to have a Cocktail Old Fashion and the barman didn't want to serve me in a proper glass, he told me only in plastic cup because apparently people go away with their glasses. I told him I will drink it at the bar but he told me no that they stop to serve with real glass cocktail which is ridiculous, especially inside the establishment. I ask him why so the wine is served with real glass and cocktail no but he was bit lost in what to answer to me. So I decided to take the cocktail in the bar next door where they served in real glasses. The breakfast was overcrowded, nobody to control and organize it. It was the worst breakfast I had and food was really tasteless.

• Resort45338067360 (10/5): Great stay in Clearwater Beach - We had a great experience staying at the Residence Inn in Clearwater Beach. The location was great, and the staff was superb. We were there during a very hectic time of year, and the workers were excellent. They were attentive, proactive and great to deal with. The room was in great shape, and we had a beautiful view of the bay from our balcony. The pool was very active, but the staff made it feel orderly and under control. We also had very nice experiences with the looby bar, the breakfast, as well as the fitness center. All were in great shape and super useful. For a vacation in Clearwater Beach, I would recommend this hotel as a solid and more affordable option than some of other oceanfront options that may be twice as expensive for a stay.

However, if you have an oceanfront room, don’t expect to fall asleep before midnight. A live band at Coco’s plays directly outside the windows, and the noise is extremely loud. This is something the hotel should clearly disclose on their website during booking. Had we known, we would have chosen a different hotel. We ended up lying in bed with pillows over our ears, struggling to fall asleep. Overall, it made for a very frustrating and disappointing experience.

It is very close to the beach and shops, all were within a block of the hotel. There is multiple beautiful waterfront views and a nice big pool overlooking the water. The valet was amazing, Brian the manager who greeted us and checked us in was so helpful, he also gave us ideas for a great anniversary dinner. We will definitely be back!

Laila was my valet, very lovely and kept things professional yet friendly with us, she helped with any questions we had about the area in clearwater beach and she was very detailed. The starbucks connected to it was also filled with nice and lovely people, they took our orders and swiftly made our drinks and helped us with any questions we had! The same facilities and breakfast just a different room standard. The Residence Inn suite was really good. A very comfortable bed with a kitchen and seating area very tastefully decorated with a layout that really works. Lots of charge points and all you would need for a short stay kitchen area. We visited for a concert at the Capitol Theatre across the causeway. An easy Uber or Suncoast Trolley away. Breakfast with a large sports team contingent was pretty crazy but honestly we should have just gone earlier. An excellent range of hot and cold buffet items, really good scrambled eggs. Plenty of seating but this can still get overwhelmed after 8am I would estimate at weekends. In summary, a first class choice steps from Clearwater Beach. Would return without hesitation.

Upon entering, you can see and smell the freshness of a clean hotel, giving it a genuine 5-star feel. The breakfast was unbelievably delicious and generous. Our room was spacious, clean, and perfect for any occasion. I would also like to express my gratitude to the two ladies at the front desk, Nancy and Isabel. They provided exceptional service, making us feel comfortable and welcome with their pleasant smiles. They listened to our needs and explained all the hotel benefits, as well as recommended places to eat. Their attentiveness made our stay even more enjoyable. My wife and I applauded their efforts and definitely plan to return because we felt like we were treated like celebrities. Additionally, I would like to thank Jose, the manager, who was incredibly nice, helpful, and professional.

When we made reservations we only found that there was parking. There was no clear communication that parking was almost $40 per day. No discount or anything for guests after what you pay to stay there per night. But we still plan on staying there again. Just experienced sticker shock.
• tsm_ny (4/5): Hotel is aged and breakfast service sucks - This hotel is combined with Spring Hill Suites of Marriott and the facility as a whole looks like a big dormitory. The staff is not well versed with English. We had to repeat so many times to get a single thing done. As soon as we checked in, we noticed that our water in the bath was not working. We had to call the emergency staff and had to get the plumbing issue fixed. They were good with that. The breakfast time was till 10 am and the staff would start winding up things from 9:30am. One time the muffins were out by 9:35 and we asked them to refill and they said they were out and couldn't do it. When we asked for decaf at 9:50 am, the same response came that it was out and couldn't do it. We were expecting that at least till 10 am things should be available. They usually keep disposable plates for breakfast. That's fine. At one time around 9:15 when the plates were out, they brought the plates which were 4 inches in diameter. The quarter part (1/4) of the waffle couldn't be fitted properly in it. After lot of people complained about it, they got bigger ones around 9:45. Overall breakfast staff service sucks. I would avoid this hotel and would go to Hyatt Regency which is opposite to this hotel where the beach is accessible and the service was very good and up to the mark. We had their day pass and we could notice the huge difference.

Right in the middle of everything. The hotel was very clean and convenient and the breakfast was very good. The staff was fantastic! The bartender, Zach, was great and so friendly. He made hanging out down in the bar area so much fun. The valet staff was exceptional. We had an issue with our rental car while we were staying there and they offered so much help. I can’t recommend this hotel enough!

They knew there was an issue and that I had a bad experience the first time. I gave them another chance and still they put me on that end of the hotel. SO again I had sleepless nights. It’s too bad because everything else was nice.

• scottc1985 (10/5): Stunning Stay at Residence Inn by Marriott, Clearwater Beach - Our family took a little overnight detour from a busy Disney holiday to relax and recharge, and wow did we pick the right spot. Residence Inn by Marriott in Clearwater Beach absolutely delivered the rest and luxury we were craving. The room instantly impressed. Spacious, modern, and spotless with a beautiful bathroom that looked like it had come straight from a design magazine. The perfect haven after days of theme-park madness. The location couldn’t be better. Step outside and you’re right in the heart of Clearwater Beach, which might genuinely be one of the most breathtaking beaches I’ve ever set foot on. Powder-soft sand, that shimmering gulf water, and sunsets that practically demand applause. Morning began with a brilliant breakfast. Plenty of choice, fresh and tasty, exactly what you need before heading back to the pool… or heading back to Orlando in our case! Speaking of the pool: a total highlight. Outdoor, spotless, and perfectly heated so it feels like dipping into a warm hug. The poolside beds were super comfortable too, making it very easy to slip into vacation mode. We even squeezed every minute out of our stay thanks to reception granting us an extra free hour for late check-out. Lovely touch. There’s a large car park which is extremely handy but… the $38 per night parking fee is absolutely wild. That’s pretty much my only complaint, though it’s a common theme in popular beach destinations. All in all, this stay gave us exactly what we hoped for: relaxation, comfort, and a stunning beach right on our doorstep. Our only regret is not staying longer. We’d love to return someday, spend more time exploring Clearwater Beach, and enjoy this fantastic hotel again. A perfect little escape. 🌴✨

• 237silvinar (4/5): Unpleasant and musty smell in the room. - The room was spacious, that was a plus...but it smelled very musty and damp. We had to blast the A/C to get the smell out. In hind sight, we should have asked for another room. The breakfast provided was adequate but the hotel ran out of knives so we were having to cut our food with a spoon. They never replenished the knives during our 3 night stay. My husband requested a firmer pillow and they said they would deliver it to our room...they never did. Our room was cleaned once during our stay. The cleaning staff didn't clean the toilet, they just gave us fresh towels, wiped down the bathroom countertop, and made our bed. They didn't bother to make the sofa bed that our daughters were sleeping in....very poor customer service. Our room had a nice partial ocean view but faced a bar downstairs...the music blasted until about 1 a.m. every night. I think the hotel provided us a subpar room since we booked through an outside party....even though we are Marriot Bonvoy Members. We will not be staying at this hotel the next time...We will pay a little more and stay across the street at the Hyatt or the Wyndam.

Breakfast has variety of items scrambled eggs, sausage, turkey patty, tacos, hard broiled eggs, cheese, bagels, toast bread, yogurt, milk, cereal, waffles, coffee, juices. Great. The pool is heated and you can ask for beach and pool towels. You can ask for cleaning every day.

We loved seeing Zach behind the bar again, it was good to catch up. Great service as usual, house keeping was very accommodating. I would recommend this hotel to anyone on business or leisure.

• Micheal (8/5): Wasn’t a bad time but could have been better - There was no beach view. We had a room overlooking a part of the city that was actually unattractive. The bed was uncomfortable but it would work for 3 nights. The room looked nice and parking was ok but they didn’t tell us until check in that parking was $38 per night. We weren’t far from the beach, so that was a plus. We were fine but most likely would not stay there again. The breakfast was ok and the hotel staff seemed nice. The worst thing about it was the noise of the club/restaurant that was below the window. Saturday night the noise blasted until maybe 2am. Sunday the noise shut down earlier. Overall 8 out of 10.
• Bethany (8/5): - We really appreciated where the property was located. Extremely walkable to the beach and restaurants. Our view was incredible, loved waking up to the beautiful bay sunrises. The room itself was good. The shower is odd, (needs a different kind of door/add a curtain) water got all over the floor. So, we had to use many towels to mop up. Bed was ok. Was really nice to have a kitchenette with various kitchen items. The breakfast buffet was decent, nice variety of foods and we saved some money by eating there instead of going out. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.

We chooseThe Residence Inn by Marriott on Clearwater beach. We arrived Early before the check in time but were able to grab a cocktail and have access to the pool and relax until our rooms were ready. The rooms had everything we needed and more! We had a great time...Big shout out to Rich Ratliff who helped make our stay wonderful!!

• davidmF7200OO (2/5): Terrible Customer Service - I booked a weekend stay to celebrate my daughter's birthday and I'll start by saying that this is a beautiful property, but unfortunately the customer service was below poor, while I was doing my check-in I was helped by the most rude and disrespectful FD agent (Yameria). I called in advance to verify that I'll be able to charge my EV car, but no charges on property were available (she told me that the property doesn't have chargers, (that I should have brought my own) I asked for help and her answer was "I don't have clue, and I wasn't the person who gave you the information" all this while she was on the phone doing something else; also I asked her for my parking rate due to I booked through a third party. For my surprise and getting the situation even worse I received the most negligent answer "I don't have your profile, ask valet". All these situation ends not only ruining my stay, but having to park my car at another hotel (paying $40) to be able to charge my car. I would say that as a Marriott Bonvay member this is the first time that I fell unwelcome in a Marriott hotel. Hopefully you're able to improve the customer service and do not make any guest to change the perception of what Marriott brand represents.

• Seaside25166130264 (10/5): Friendly attentive staff!!! - The hotel staff were terrific!! Liz at the front desk was very friendly and attentive to my requests! Trish a manager was very kind and went out of her way to help with an issue. Jose a room attendant was so prompt, sweet and very patient! Durango in maintenance came right away and was very fast at fixing an issue! Housekeeping was also great! I met the General Manager, who was attentive and nice too! The staff for breakfast were helpful! Parking attendants were very quick, kind and helped us unpack and pack the car! Great hotel!! Rooms need to be remodeled!!

• Cheryl (10/5): - This is the best Residence Inn I have stayed at. Every year we go Clearwater due to our son’s Martial Arts competition and this was our first time at Residence Inn. Everything was perfect but breakfast was the best I had in the past in any hotel. From now on, staying there every year.

The facility was clean however, when I receive my car back from ballet, it had the most horrib - The property was clean and neatly located on Coronado Drive. I did not like that They charge $40 a night for parking despite occupying a room at the hotel. Directly across the street from the hotel there is $15 a day parking all day. This hotel is not even trying to match that, it's giving greed!
