It was very clean and well-organized. Comfortable hotel with an excellent restaurant in front. Very close to a supermarket and other establishments.

The cashier who made our breakfast was awesome 😎 Upon check in the lady at the front desk tried to charge us again for the room but I'm guessing this app doesn't allow them to see when you've paid for the room so it's not her fault at all. Also the bathroom light in 310 is connected to the main lights when you enter the room. So in order to have light in the bathroom you have to turn on every light in the room. The shower walls & tub weren't completely clean but we had our own cleaning supplies so we solved that issue.

Listening skills were very poor and empathy was lacking for a weary older traveler disappointed and confused with accommodations available on arrival. Confrontational and curt communication styles were exhumed in the front desk staff making my stay at the property unsettling. I left before I stayed the second 2 nights for which I had paid. As a Bonvoy member I expected better. We have stayed at Marriott brands for many years and I have never been treated so aggressively. Please contact me about this review

The only issue was the patch up work to cover up either a water leak or just repainting. They just painted over wallpaper, which made it look hoody looking. A torn rip on the carpet, which didn't feel that well walking over it without shoes. We really liked the very cold ❄️ room after our Amana thermostat hack to stay on cool during our stay (Google it).

- mtrodgers99 (8/5): Good quality hotel of this type. - I stayed at this hotel for five nights to attend an event at this hotel. Front desk staff were courteous and efficient. Public areas were clean. My room was clean, but had a bad smell. I was too lazy to change rooms, so I didn't mention it until I left. The staff person credited my Marriott account with points for the inconvenience. The room had a nice selection of furniture. The TV system worked fine and was easy to use. The air conditioner unit was not quiet, but the noise level was acceptable. The hotel had a restaurant/bar/lounge that was associated with Starbucks. This restaurant was open for breakfast and then closed until 5 PM. Although the evening menu was small, I enjoyed the food that I ate there (most of my meals). I ate breakfast there every day. The restaurant staff was friendly and helpful. I often use hotel stairwells instead of the elevator; the stairwell that I used was clean, which is often not the case at many hotels. Outside the restaurant, there was a McDonald's and an Olive Garden within easy walking distance; good for me as I had no vehicle. There were several other restaurants a little further away, but still walkable.

- Hannah (6/5): - Be careful in the pool. It’s INSANELY slippery and they have no warning signs about it. My baby was walking and fell straight on his forehead after slipping. We couldn’t even walk around without worrying about falling, so we left the pool early extremely disappointed. Unfortunately we chose the hotel due to the indoor pool (got told it was heated) but it was extremely cold.

- Ronniecka (2/5): Security needed - We came with a group that booked about 10 rooms. On the first night vehicles were broken into. I had a few cards in my console that were taken and attempted to be used. Thank god for fraud alerts. When asked if we could view footage we were told to wait for management. When they arrived we were told the cameras do not face the parking lot they only face the building. So calling the police or seeing anyone would be hard.

- 617_mery (6/5): Nice new hotel but noisy and unfriendly service - We stayed at this hotel for two nights during our visit to Austin. The reason that we chose this hotel was due to the location and being part of Marriott Bonvoy program. The hotel is located about 15-20 minutes from Austin downtown and offers good value. There are plenty of shopping and restaurant options around it. It also looks like a pretty new building. While being comfortable in general, we didn't have the warmest welcome and the room cleaning was skipped during the stay. The room was also quite noisy from the outside highway. Apart from that it was a good hotel and it is an affordable option in Marriott portfolio that offers a good value stay. Details on some specifics are as follows: Welcome: We arrived at the hotel around 4 pm. The receptionist quickly provided the room keys and some water bottles which is nice (but why can't they just leave water in the rooms). Some of our requests were met with higher floor rooms however we were given a connection room which we don't prefer due to noise. Room: We were impressed by the room amenities with the comfortable bed and large sofa and good size tv. There was also a coffee machine available. The wifi speed was also decent and it was easy to connect. Bathroom had all the necessary amenities and was Service: The hotel makes the Marriott app available for requests and service chat line. However, when we asked for dental kits, the response was to come and get from the reception. I suggest the hotel to disable this function on the app if they are not interested in providing the service. Also, the hotel skipped room service completely and they claimed that they only do every two days unless specifically asked. Our room was such a mess with full thrash bins and towels on the floor due to this. Location: The hotel is nicely located near shops and restaurants but it's near the highway and it causes some noise disturbances at night. The drive to the city centre is mostly ok but can take up to 40 minutes at rush hours. So I would recommend planning accordingly. Overall: It was a good value stay but could be much better with less noise, better room servicing and more friendly service.

- Jordan (2/5): What happened to customer service? - I booked 3 nights at this hotel for a conference I was attending in Austin. I was working in Dallas to morning of my check in date when I got an email from Hotels.com saying the hotel couldn't honor the stay. I didn't see the email until after 6pm on my drive down from Dallas to Austin. The reason they gave me was something about 3 rooms not being available and they forgot to take that off the inventory that Hotels.com had. I had to wait around for about 2 hours when I got to Austin to have a rep from Hotels.com help find me another hotel. He got me a room at a Hyatt Place in the area. Hotels.com covered the $175+ difference since the Hyatt Place hotel was more expensive for 3 days. The reason for this review is I'm wondering why Marriott doesn't have a system in place A) to prevent this from happening. B) If it does happen, having a system that helps guests find another Marriott branded hotel in the area. Basically, they lost the money they were making on the 3 nights and now I'm not that excited about booking at a Marriott branded hotel next time. The woman at the front desk of this Marriott acted like there was nothing they could do about it because it was booked through a third party. I tried to explain to her that it was me, a real human standing in front of her that was going to be sleeping at the hotel. Not some "third party". She did not care. It was basically a "I don't care at all to try and help you." attitude.

- Jonathan (6/5): - Fire alarm started going off at 5:54 A.M and did not stop until 11:35 a.m. as an epileptic person this was more then stressful, it caused a migraine that lasted well until the night.
- KRIS (6/5): - The front desk clerk was never welcoming and did not have even a smile or welcoming demeanor throughout the 4 day stay. Also during the stay somebody opened the front door while I was still in the room.....he claimed to be hotel tech and wanted to check if the refrigerator was working fine.....very very unusual and unprofessional !
