- Mona Liza (9/5): It is a very fun stay. The room smelled so clean. - The location has a nice view. The staff are very friendly. They even gave me a new rice cooker as requested upon check in. The facility is very clean and organized. I didn't like that I was charged $40 and was told they will refund it upon check out. That was supposed to be a 90 minute seminar which we decided not to attend because it takes a lot of our time and we are really not interested. I thought it was a no obligation but I didn't get my $40 back. But, the things about Kerrville was nice to know facts.
- sosab656 (8/5): Family Getaway - The location is remote part of the Texas Hill Country. It was quiet and peaceful with dear all around the area. The condo's were updated, clean and the staff was very pleasant as they are at all Worldmark locations. We were talked into the presentation but not given everything we were told we were promosed was the only downside. I would recommend but maybe not do the presentation unless you plan to purchase there.

- B1482BDbc (10/5): Hill COUNTRY VACATION - Loved the resort. Easy check in friendly staff. 2 bedrooms was roomy modern and clean. Nice pool area and recreation room. Surrounding towns were close by and provided good restaurants and shopping.
- ruginap2016 (10/5): Highly Recommend/Peaceful Family Retreat - Wow, what a peaceful and enjoyable getaway! We were very excited to explore the resort and local area with our grandsons - 5 y/o and an infant. This resort did not disappoint and offered pleasant surprises. We spent a ton of time in the heated pool and huge jacuzzi, playing at the rec center, at the firepits or exploring the local area. There are planned activities for kids and adults. We saw others there but felt as though we had run of the whole property. We took hikes, saw deer, played board games, enjoyed views from the balcony and so much more. The onsite staff is absolutely amazing! They were kind, helpful and very friendly. HEB and Walmart was a quick 10-15 drive away. Cute 😍 small towns were great for exploring the area nearby. Finally, we declined a timeshare presentation and noone ever contacted us again. We will return again soon! Tip: Request a building near the recreation center ie bldg 12

- quietwater7782 (8/5): Lovely Wyndham resort, some negatives - The resort itself was lovely. Condo and buildings brand new with all the quality features you expect from a Wyndham resort.. Unfortunately, all recreational facilities associated with the Guadalupe River were completely scoured Away by a devastating flood in July of 2025. Also, beware the pushy Wyndham timeshare sales agent hiding under the friendly title of concierge. They just don't understand that quote no thank you unquote means just that.
- Amanda (10/5): Perfect combination of adventure and leisure. - My husband and I took our two kids to Stablewood Springs in Hunt, Texas, for their birthday trip. My kids have a 10-year age gap, so it's not easy to find something that they both enjoy. This property had everything we needed to entertain both kids. The local town and attractions also appealed to kids and adults alike. I didnt like that I only booked three days. I wish we could have stayed longer. Next time, we will!

We have an spectacular star gaze where we can see júpiter, saturn, staff is awesome. Heated pool. Club house very helpful. When we need something they help you a lot. I had great vacations. The room was confortable, very clean 2 rooms and 2 barhrooms.

I was working with my son and grandson trying to setup his new telescope which my wife and I got him for Christmas near our condo and one of the workers driving by on his golf cart noticed and politely came over and told us of a star gazing area at the end of the property that was perfect and that there would be a professional the very next night hosting a viewing and we went and it was so awesome my grandson had a wonderful time and got to use his new telescope to show to other kids what he could find. So it was a fantastic night of star gazing and a moment my grandson and I will never forget!

- Betsy Chisholm (9/5): - Fabulous view of the hills from the spacious balcony and windows. Beautiful hill country decor. Nicely equipped kitchen and bath with shower and separate soaking tub. Makeup mirror in the bath was a nice touch. The murphy bed untucks the sheets when stowing the bed. And the bed is too low to the ground when set up. Needs to be 6-9" higher, about the size of a box spring.
- Kelly (10/5): - The staff was efficient, checked in in record time. The concierge had knowledge of the entire surrounding area, pointing us in the direction of everything we needed. Our concerns were addressed immediately. I recommend getting in the hot tub in 40° temperatures, it was wonderful Driving up the narrow, curved road at night was a little intimidating. I would have felt more comfortable with low lights on the road.

The staff was very welcoming at check-in and the rooms were very nice and stocked for a comfortable stay. . There are several activity optionsfor the family including a wonderful pool area and disk golf. Highly recommend visiting this location. .

The kid activities are plentiful and well timed. The pool is relaxing and fun for families. The star party is the star of the whole place.

- SteveP923 (8/5): Summer Vacation to the Texas Hill Country - When we walked into our room after checking in we found quite a few crumbs on the kitchen bar. They also need one more comfortable chair for their two bedroom units. Large families aren’t able to all comfortably sit in the living room to visit or play games. We selected this resort due to its proximity to Fredericksburg, Luckenbach, Kerrville, and San Antonio, TX. There’s only one pool area at this resort but it’s nice they have a pool located at the top more for adults with a larger pool below for kids that has a slide. There’s a hot tub adjacent to the kids pool. The pools look down over the beautiful Texas Hill Country scenery! Over all we would stay at this resort again.

- ChrisFam1 (6/5): Beautiful place but stuck in the dark ages in regards to Internet/Wifi connectivity. - The WorldMark Hunt Stablewood Springs Resort is a pleasant location however, still trapped in policies that dated 1-2 decades ago in regard to the Internet/WiFi connectivity. We have traveled to 3rd world countries that offer these complimentary items with the cost of a stay. WorldMark Hunt Stablewood Springs Resort is now that last place we could recommend to our fellow sphere of clientele, as far as price gouging visitors who work when they travel.

The firepit and gas grills were a very welcome bonus. Also loved the stargazing experience. The things that would have made the experience better is if there were more adult activities and there were food options since the resort is so remote. Also, the lack of free wifi at the resort was a HUGE negative.

We did drive into Fredericksburg to shop and eat, but the time we spent at the resort was wonderful. It was so quiet. We saw deer. We walked and spent sunsets at the pool overlooking that beautiful canyon. It was so relaxing.

I arrived almost three hours before the check in time, and the Presidential suite where I stayed was already ready. That was great after a five hour drive! Thanks :)
- Sarah (10/5): What a gem! - Stablewood Springs Resort is nested in the hills in a beautiful quiet and picturesque area. The condos are so well decorated, spacious, and functional. The pool area is impeccable, fun, and relaxing! Yes they managed to have all three in one area broken down by zones. The children and kids at heart can use the slide for a fun dip in the large pool, then heat up in the hot tub, or just swim laps in the heated pool above, unless you just want to relax by the fire pit, all with a view! There's also an activity center with games, and many activities like wine tasting, tie dye , arts and craft.. Overall this place is a gem for a fun and relaxing stay! I strongly recommend!

- 310sheliam (2/5): Don't Be Fooled - Charity that assisted us when we checked in was not trained at all, we wound up making three trips to the checkin because of her incompetence. The room had bugs, the air conditioning kept cutting out and we had to make multiple calls to try and get someone to come and fix it. My husband attempted to use the grill, but it didn't work, he and another resident called, the maintenance guy showed up but to no avail, they walked to another grill and the exact same thing. We ended up checking out early as the last straw was the water went out because the "well stopped pumping". Complete waste of our money.

Well equipped units with comfy beds and living space. Housekeeping quick to respond to request. Lovely heated pool and units have plenty of pool towels as well as unit towels and toiletries.

- jd20202025 (10/5): Beautiful resort in Texas Hill Country - This is a beautiful resort with lovely swimming pools and clubhouse. Our unit seemed almost new. All the staff were exceptional. The dark sky area is a bonus. They have an astronomer (amazingly knowledgeable) Sat. eve. My husband and I went to the area two other nights. I wish ithe resort weren't so isolated.

- nicolelS1909OG (10/5): Peaceful retreat - We enjoyed a peaceful getaway at the WorldMark Hunt Stablewood Spring Resort. Our unit had everything we needed, including a great back patio with plenty of seating and a grill. We loved being tucked into nature with views of the hills by day and a clear view of so many more stars than you can see in the city at night. The location was perfect for off-property exploration in the area, too. The staff was friendly and helpful. We definitely plan to return.

- H5371KZsharonb (10/5): Beautiful location - My husband and I spent most of week here the end of February. Weather was beautiful and the resort is fairly new. Accommodations well maintained. We enjoyed the pool, clubhouse, and played disc golf. Highly recommend this location.

- vee_squared (10/5): Close to many attractions - Worldmark Hunt - Stablewood Springs was close to many attractions. Kerrville was just 20 minutes away. It offered the Coming King Sculpture Prayer Garden and the original James Avery store. Fredericksburg was an hour away. It has fun shopping and historical sights. Of course San Antonio offered the Riverwalk and the Alamo just hours away. Besides the location, Stablewood Springs is a beautiful resort. It’s calmly set in the woods on a hill. We often saw deer. A highlight was the star party on Saturday night with a qualified astronomer. Also, our room was roomy, comfortable and well maintained. Definitely recommend Stablewood Springs for a fun and relaxing vacation.

- Becky (9/5): Superb - What breakfast? The roo. Was cold and the bedroom furniture dilapidated. A large clock need the battery changed and when it got cold it was a dit drafty. One corner of the living room area rug was a tripping hazard.

We got the presidential suite for the view but our specific suite had tons of thick trees taller than the porch and up against the house which completely blocked any view whatsoever. That was pretty disappointing. They also required us to do our own dishes and take out our own trash to the dumpsters on site. Normally I’d be okay with that at a holiday inn; not a place I just spent $200 a night at. Wifi also is not provided with that cost; you have to pay for their wifi service. Staff were friendly and helpful when asked questions. They try to get you to hear their pitch for timeshares but if you are good at saying no, then it’s fine. Just an average stay for us; we probably won’t return.

- Anna (4/5): - My initial impression of the place was “lack of management”. Then I realized that management is there, they are just confused. I thought I booked a hotel. Only to realize there’s no housekeeping or room service, and I have to take out the trash. Property is spacious, but outdated and cheaply built. Again, I thought I booked a hotel. Only to settle into an apartment complex and fall asleep to the sound of my upstairs neighbor’s loud snoring. Upon arrival, we encountered about 10 employees and NO one greeted us. The receptionist welcomed us to the “resort” and told us to make sure to take out the trash, do our own dishes, and see “the lady”. The lady proceeded to strong arm us into a time share presentation. No was not a good enough answer the first couple times. But she got the point eventually. I have no problem staying at a short term rental if that’s what is advertised. However, don’t welcome me to the resort and tell me to clean up after myself in one sentence. Not the best way to sell your time share. Management, it’s all about setting expectations. Make up your mind and quit calling yourself a resort.
