• Petra (9/5): - Es war ein sehr schönes, modernes Apartment. Lage war perfekt. Es war auch die hilfe beim Einchecken sehr super und auch verständlich. Balkon zum Sitzen war etwas klein, aber man gewöhnt sich sehr schnell daran.

A problem with lack of tea towels in the kitchen was rectified very quickly A lot of the lampshades were old and need replacing. The digital access did not always work but we had keys as well

• mike (1/5): would have cancelled if we could due to the management requesting 20EURO for a sofa bed. - location was good advertised as a double bed with a sofa bed included in the price. After paying in full & non refundable, we were contacted by the apartment owners stating that we had to pay an additional 20 EURO to use the sofa bed. I called them directly saying we were two male friends using the apartment and didn't want to sleep together in the double bed. Felt conned by the owners as we had no option but to pay the additional 20EURO. The apartment was really tired and needed a good clean, especially the bathroom.
• Valerie (8/5): - Awesome location, right on the center of the riverside bars and restaurants. Superb views from the balconies (better than the photos). Too good to leave at times as you can see the river, people watch, gardens, all from where you're staying. Spacious accommodation and very light and airy feel. In the 4th floor, has a lift Very attentive service. The decor needs updating though a minor things and wouldnt take much to refresh.

• Carolyn (8/5): Great Location - Apartment is in a good central location with great views, the narrow balcony is good sit on watching the world go by. Comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen. Very spacious and lots of storage. Some very lovely bars and restaurants close by, would definitely recommend Tapas 65. Traffic noise is bad 24/7, emergency vehicle sirens very loud, the windows although lovely for the view they do not seal the noise out so didn't get much sleep, would recommend bringing ear plugs.

So many bars and restaurants surrounding. You won't be disappointed. Had to hold the shower by hand as it was powerful and soaked the room if you didn't. Wasn't a bid issue.

• Jill (10/5): Perfect location and lovely views - Perfect location. Right by the riverside, lots of restaurants and cafés footsteps away and close to Rua das Flores street. The wraparound views are spectacular. Spacious apartment and comfortable bed. Wouldn't really say a big issue but warm water can be a little tricky when showering. Busy street below and noisy traffic. We got used to it.

• Joseph (9/5): Superb - Lovely corner appartment even nicer in person with brilliant light from sunrise to sunset and all round views. We simply fell in love with this appartment. All landmark views are right infront and it was a joy to wake up everymorning to hear the seagulls and church bells. Would return even tomorrow. At night it got filled with mosquitos but after buying the antimosquito device we had no problems whatsoever and could leave all windows wide open.

Wrap around balcony either views of the important Porto sites in city, as well as side river views. Apartment is spacious and bright with French door windows. Excellent location to everywhere in historic Porto and Gaia. Everything worked out no complaints.

• Virginia (9/5): Excellent location and comfortable apartment - The apartment is light, spacious and in an excellent location. Great views. Easy to walk everywhere we needed. We used the sofa bed for two extra family members without being too squeezed. But we were charged more per person/per night (even though it was only for extra linen). Communication with management was generally prompt, but sometimes confusing. Electronic key access was not simple. Appreciated the physical key left inside. All went well once we were settled in. We stayed in May and needed the fans. It would probably be quite hot in summer.

The view out every window was sensational. I missed not having someone on reception to greet us on first entry to the unit.

Some clear notification ahead of time that NO items were available in the apartment - no packets of coffee available.

Needs updated towels and toiletries, and additional toilet paper. No extras provided like most apartments…washing pods/soap for clothes and no coffee or teas. WiFi was not strong enough signal to open exterior building door (good at apartment door 👍🏻)

• Chris (7/5): Enjoyable despite the shortcomings - The lift to the 4th floor is excellent. The personal meet and greet is good. The location is excellent as is the wifi. Decent size apartment, light and airy. Reasonably Ikea furnished. Bed, sheets and towels comfortable. Traffic finishes late and starts early on cobbled roads. Thin double glazing affords minimum noise protection. No aircon in the summer would mean even more noise from open windows (or shut the shutters and live in a dark box). Shower is accessed by clambering over high-sided bath. Crockery/glassware inventory very limited. No information pack.
• Jackie (9/5): read above - location and lovely bright ambiance in the apartment. we had a terrible experience gaining access when we arrived. spent one hour in the rain. all the time trying to ring host who was to meet us at the apartment. she apologised & gave a breakfast to compensate which actually was an insult it was so basic. we missed our dinner reservation which was purpose of visiting Porto. our friends retirement dinner.. Porto was wonderful. arrival information was incorrect as host was never meeting us. She just spoke on phone & unlocked door remotely when she eventually answered phone. poor arrival arrangements

• Michał (9/5): Really enjoyed my stay, great contact with operators. - Location, size. Very good towels, great bed. Nice apartment. Great contact and fast check-in. Lack of utensils (2 wine glasses when we were pack of 3, same with the spoons 2 same of a kind and one plastic, etc.). No light over the mirror in bathroom (was there but didn’t work). Lack of handle to open one window - other worked fine. Usually if there is espresso machine owner leaves couple of caps, same with dishwasher.
• Frank (8/5): Great place in the heart of historic Porto - The best thing about the flat is the location. You're right in the middle of historic Porto. Your view will capture the river, Porto's historic landmarks, and even the starting point of the quaint wee tram! We bought ourselves the PortoCard for public transport, but hardly needed it becuase you can walk nearly everywhere. There are also loads of nice places to eat nearby. The place itself was really convenient, clean and very pleasant to stay. We're pleased to say that it is actually easier to get onto the balcony than the photos suggest! :) The only downside really is that you notice that you're on the top floor and the walls appear to be made of metal, so it can get rather warm. The hosts have kindly provided fans, but there is no 'real' airco, so it can be a bit warm at night.

• Martin (10/5): Perfect apartment in a great location. - The apartment was just right for our family of 3. Everything was new and in excellent condition. Location was great, close walk to riverfront with bars and restaurants. Bolsa Palace is right in front. We loved the location. Apartment had all the amenities including a washer/dryer. Building has an elevator too. Staff professional and helpful, and was waiting at the apartment when we arrived. We would stay here again without hesitation.
• Tony (8/5): Beautiful apartment with great location - Everything about the apartment was great - style , size, facilities , location and welcome by Teresa . The only annoying issue was the constant alarms outside during the day to deter the seagulls. But all was quiet at night for sleeping.
