- Verified traveler (4/5): - The amenities were great (pool and jacuzzi).
However, the property smelled very bad when we go there. We asked if we could have an extra towels since there was 4 of us and they couldn’t provide us with extra. We asked for toilet paper but we had to buy our own. Our flight was at 7:30 pm, we had to check out at 11 am even though we were told nobody was booked after us and they told us we can’t use amenities.
Very bad and disappointing service. I would never return.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Horrible experience. The woman at the front desk was confused when I tried to check in. She called someone to get the key for the condo who apparently was only in charge of cleaning. The woman on the phone was rude to both the front desk woman and me. She told the front desk woman that my booking was cancelled because I was local.
When I tried to call her to ask what she was talking about she said it was cancelled because of the same day booking and couldn't help.
I found a phone number on the booking and was told my credit card didn't go through and there for was no longer booked. I provided the card information over the phone and was told, 'Sorry, it's been declined'. My card is an Amex Platinum which doesn't get declined. If there is suspicious behavior I get an alert. The woman told me to call Expedia but the apartment was no longer available.
I called Expedia and was taken car of by a friendly person. The experience with the apartment in River North was terrible. I feel there was an error in the pricing and my reservation denied after it was realized. It is a 2 bedroom apartment in River North that was going for about $60 per night. It seemed too good to be true and ultimately was.
- Kimberly (6/5): - The number of phone calls I received to confirm my identity was annoying. I understand this is a private bldg but it felt intrusive. Also, whoever is cleaning needs to actually clean. The long hairs stuck to my shower shoes was gross. Stay improvements would include, proper cleaning of bath floors, a shelf in the showers, 2-ply toilet paper, kleenex, room darkening window treatment in the bedrooms (at least), new toss pillows, water.
- adhoc (10/5): Panoramic views of the Chicago skyline - It is a beautiful house just built.
The panoramic views of the park and the downtown Chicago skyline are impressive.
The latex bed is also clean and comfortable.
- Leah (10/5): The room with a view - When looking for a room for our trip to Chicago I was looking at hotel rooms but nothing spoke to me. When I found this location I fell in love. Check-in was easy, the atmosphere was great, and the room... the room was BEAUTIFUL. Very modern, and clean. The view from our room was breath taking. The view of the city was exactly what I was looking for.
We found good parking, walked to some fantastic restaurants and had an amazing trip in the city. When I come back to Chicago again, I know where I am staying.
