Guest Reviews
- Larry (10/5): - $
- Samuel (8/5): - .
- Benjamin (2/5): - Place was an absolute mess, parts of the wall was missing, bathroom door was screwed together and bent, electrical outlets were broken and black mold in the shower
- Howard (4/5): - Upgrades and maintenance were lacking.
- Edward (4/5): - Room was not clean. Saw signs of possible dead bed bug on walls. Other dead bugs through the room.
- Brandon (4/5): Scary unkept nightmare. Dirty and odorous. - Every inch of the hotel was worn, damaged walls, floors, ages and cheap dated furniture. Towels were like sandpaper and dirty, outlets loose, no hot water, noisy ac, tv didn’t work, or phone, and whole place , rooms, hallways smelled like pot. Staff was friendly and tried to accommodate but wow.
- john (4/5): Refund - I’ve tried to contact this site I booked a room but the dates were wrong I stayed the 19th and your site said no rooms were available. They had several rooms I stayed and couldn’t contact this site to correct it please refund my stay
- Melanie (2/5): - Couldn't get out of there fast enough
- DANA (10/5): CHEAP AND CLEAN - No complaints. The price was right. Older property, but clean and in good shape.
- Gary (8/5): - Needs some repair work--at least in the room I had.
- Larry (8/5): - Economical
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not pleasant - Arrived and needed cash for deposit. Could not refund if on a card. Put us in a room with mold on ceiling in bathroom ans around a/c on wall. Gave us new room but patches on walls and tears in drywall surface made us wish we stayed elsewhere.
- Josh (10/5): - Close to everything
- Damon (6/5): - Had to pleave a $50 cash deposit at sign-in.
- Hubert (10/5): - Good
- John (2/5): - They ask to hold your cash until you check out.
Disgusting place. We took one look and turned around
- Timothy (10/5): - Don't let the cheap price scare you away. They have clean comfortable beds and the woman who checked us in was very nice also. This is a great place to stay overnight during your travels.
- Karissa (8/5): - Th stay was great and this coming from a hotel housekeeper on the beach side I would say the rooms needs a deep clean like the walls and maybe a pest control service but other then that the staff was amazing and options to eat open and close by
- Gary (2/5): What a DUMP! - Do not go here! I got there at 12:00 midnight and was told I could not check in with a credit card, ONLY CASH. Never heard of such a thing but not surprised when I looked at the place. It was the biggest dump and most old nasty lobby I have ever seen and I do stay at some cheap hotels. There were paper signs taped up all over the place.Thanking my lucky stars that they did not allow me to stay. They saved me from a night in a dump! Lost my $50 but well worth not staying there. I drove the rest of the way into Florida without traffic. All worked out well.
- Kimberly (8/5): - Love this place!!
- ggdid (4/5): - Horrible experience
- Jeffrey (4/5): - Had to pay Cash $150 deposit for our small dog. Not listed on the website. Floors were very poorly laid with uneven places and dirty.
- Jerry (10/5): - Nice 👍🙂
- Shayla (2/5): - Our toilet was leaking when you flush it , our curtains was uneven you could literally see outside on one side , i was itching when i laid in the bed ,it smell like dogs & i had my newborn baby with me who i was afraid to even take out of his car seat to even lay him down it was so nasty , & they wouldn’t even refund me & I left I didn’t stay neither night .
- Katherine (4/5): - Really run down infrastructure with rust and the smell of insecticide
- Eugene (2/5): - The bed was not good in the floor was very weak
- Jennifer (4/5): - The staff was amazing but it definitely needs upgrades. The bed was so uncomfortable and soft spots in the floor. The bathroom wqs nice and convenient. Loved the shower. The hot water barely got hot.
- Jennifer L (2/5): - If you are looking for cheap, this is it. It’s not clean, smells musty, not a place if you are looking for a decent spot. It’s just a cheap spot to lay your head on your head on top of the covers.
- Allan (2/5): - Hall smeels like dog pee...
Tv didnt work athey came programmed the remote but the wifi or whatever didnt work so ever channel froze while trying to watch..
shower head leaked all over the place got tired of waiting so just took a shower and left
dog from from 5 am to about 630 in the room next to mine so yea i was woken up at 5 am on a sunday trying to rest.. there are dope heads hanging all around the desk they have dogs there too behind the counter i would not recomend and this is my first time ever leaving a bad review
- Amalya (2/5): Zero professionalism - They do not tell the truth about mixing dog rooms with regular rooms. Dogs barked at night after owners left them alone in the room. When I complained about bad rules, they blamed it on a hostile work environment created by the hotel owners. Worst I have seen so far in hotels.
- Dimon (10/5): - Was a nice place don’t show up over 4 people they won’t let you stay there.
- Alysa (2/5): - Very dirty. Strong smoke smell throughout and very poor condition of the room. I checked out after the first night
- TAN (2/5): - Too bad about the procedure.
- Christopher (2/5): - This place was very dirty the bath room was nasty not clean the room door was bent had to push hard to close it there was a tampon applicator laying on the floor by the bed the sheetz was hardly on the one bed looked reused the tv was unplugged the room phone did not work and the room smelled like mildew. VERY DISAPPOINTED.
- jolene (2/5): - $50 cash deposit is required. They will make you take all your luggage back out in the rain to go get cash.
Staff ignores there own "no smoking" signs and "dogs must be on a leash sign". There's one dim lamp in the room, no coffee maker, and NO SWING BAR LOCK for security on the door. I will never stay here again.
- Joseph B (10/5): - Very comfortable room and good rate for the room.
- Darren (4/5): - Strange Smells in the building. Did have basic room items and sanitary facilities and carpet. Spectrum TV cable options. Very close to Lake City shopping and trails. woody lot in back.
- Tom (8/5): - Nice facade from the parking lot, safe location, quiet room.
- Rosena (10/5): - I like everything it's convenient around restaurants, shopping, drug stores etc.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Disgusting don't waste your money - The room was disgusting. I had a dirty bandaid stuck on the light switch, the smoke alarm was ripped out of the ceiling, floors were filthy, Tv didn't work, the front desk clerk was rude to the point I was in tears. The beds were disgusting. Rust on everything. Smelled like weed and cigarettes
- Laura (2/5): - They told me I needed to give them a $50 cash deposit because I booked through Expedia and I told them I didn’t see that in the email anywhere. Plus, I felt like I was going to be kidnapped in the parking lot because there were people everywhere and it looked really scary! And they told me their card reader didn’t work and that was another reason they needed me to pay a cash security deposit. I felt like they were lying and the lady look like she was on meth so I just left. And then had to spend 200 more dollars to get a hotel because of the football game in town so now I’m out of $300 .
- CARLOS (4/5): Be aware! Not a good place to stay!! - They only accept cash for the deposit. If you don’t have the send you gas station. Normally we never have cash for safety reasons. So I had to drive there on the middle of the midnight. To many people used drug around. Tv doesn’t work! The bathroom light always on.
- Blanca (10/5): - Great staff
- Richard (10/5): - The places is a dump but the staff is awesome
- Jorge (2/5): - Es un hotel de mala calidad todo roto y biejo vieve los desamparados pagan por samanas u desastre este hotel
- Crystal (10/5): - Friendly and quiet
- Jayme (4/5): - Room smelled so bad, and wasn’t aware of the $50 cash deposit. Other than that it’s a bed and a shower for cheap so I wasn’t expecting much.
- Ryan (2/5): - There is a $50 cash deposit that wasnt mentioned on Expedia. The room was spacious but there was mold on the inside of the door and a bandaid stuck to the back side of the door. The mattress was sitting on 4 box springs and the bottom two looked like they may have soaked up blood at some point. The lady at the front dest was nice but everything else was sketchy. Im glad I sirvived the night!
- Lynn (4/5): - The staff who ran the hotel were using the lobby as their personal home. They were constantly outside smoking and the carpet in the hallways and stairs was filthy. The front desk person was walking around in pajamas and slippers.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Avoid staying - Mattress was very old, sheets were very old. Flooring and window coverings horrible. Original flooring and carpet frim very old hotel. Desperately needs renovations.
- Connie (2/5): - Check in was a joke. A 150$ security? For what? Like we could damage this place? Just sleep in your car
- Madeline (2/5): - It stink like pee and mold building durty with mold outside. As soon you come in u can smell the wet wood. Room wasnt ready at 10 pm. When i went tothe room smell like pee and bleach
- Matthew (4/5): - Don't stay here! It's not worth going cheap! There were brown spots on the white sheets, the shower wasn't sealed or culked; the shower head was barely hanging onto the sheetrock. The floor had spill marks on it. The TV was on when we came into the room and we couldn't turn it off without unplugging it and we couldn't adjust the volume.
- Sandy (10/5): - I can’t say enough good things about the wonderful staff. Very, accommodating, patient, helpful, & friendly
They went out of their way to accommodate us we need 3 rooms due to Hurricane Milton and only had only booked 1 night and ended up staying 4 so far.
Again I can’t Thank them enough for their excellent
caring service! ❤️
- Kate (2/5): Not So Good - There was nothing clean about this motel at all. It smelled like pee, and mold. The AC made this awful sound every few minutes, keeping us up all night. I killed a cockroach and a spider first night there. I told my kids not to take off their shoes, the floor was dirty and sticky. We didn’t want to use the shower but we had to after staying there for a few days. My husband went to Walmart and bought some air fresheners and candles as we couldn’t handle the smell anymore.
I am, however, thankful that it was available during the hurricane so I gave it one star for the price. Overall, our experience there was not enjoyable but we didn’t sign up for that. We signed up to escape the hurricane. You get what you pay for I guess. Maybe management could spend more time cleaning and less time smoking outside might make a world of difference but I guess they do not care. I would not recommend this hotel to any of my friends or family and would not come back.
- Bertram (2/5): - The carpet was so dirty it made our feet black, we stayed with no power for 3 days, no discount, and hotel staff had a horrible attitude from the time we checked in, to the time we left, they screamed at me multiple times and the called the cops on me and said I was “threatening to jump them” had boric acid behind the night stand, and tv stand. Soft spot in the floor and we were on the 2nd floor. Overall the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.
- Jonathan (2/5): Careful with booking here. - Not good at all. Hotel overbooked me and I was unable to stay, had to sleep in my vehicle.
- Daniel (2/5): - The bed was not on track I rolled out and that's my new up there was a big metal bar hanging out there was hair in the tub somebody left their food in the microwave it was disgusting
- Kim (2/5): - The hotel itself needs to be torn down and redone. The smell is horrible. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to come here. Then has a policy of no refund
- Verified traveler (2/5): Unsafe and not clean - They make their own rules at this hotel, and guests are asked to go get cash for payments. Rules are printed and sheets hanging on the wall, not posted online. They treat everyone like they're a shady crackhead and their rooms and linens are trash. We felt very unsafe here and thankful our kids weren't with us.
- Phyllis (2/5): - This place was dirty and someone had a dog in the room barking all n
- Verified traveler (6/5): 2/5 - You get what you pay for the doors are falling off there’s holes in the walls and in the bathroom the water never got hot and the staff lives on site . They have a million rules that are posted once you get there good luck .
- Kia (10/5): - Hurricane Helene had the entire city in an uproar. The staff was very accommodating and the lady manager was very nice and had already saved our room for another night stay in advance before we asked because our power was still out. We were able to bring our pet with no problems.
- Blanca (10/5): - It was nice and quite.
- Blanca (10/5): - Nothing much around there but abandon restaurants
- Blanca (10/5): - Just nothing around there.
- William (2/5): - The hotel was noisy and filthy.
- Susan (4/5): - Needs to be remodeled or repairs by a professional.
- Melissa (2/5): - Drug infested extended stay place.
- William (10/5): - It was great for a quick over night stay.
- Thomas (2/5): - Smells
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The room was spacious enough and fairly quiet but lacked a few standard amenities;; it seemed that the property had seen better days.
- Serena (2/5): - Irresponsible, not a good place to stay staff not good or friendly was not interested in helping with my reservation i had but was not in the computer the desk clerk wasn't helpful at all he wasn't clean or interested in helping with my reservation i would not recommend this place to anyone.
- Michele (2/5): 2 1/5 hrs of hell! - We wanted to have a two night stay. I booked the night before. We arrived at the 3:00p.m. checkin time. Carried our bags upstairs( no elevator) to room 219. I could smell stale tobacco in the room and on the bedcovers. A perfume smell from carpet fresh powder or something similar. The king size bed was worn so badly that we could not comfortably lay still without rolling/sliding down into the middle. The bathroom floor was not mopped or clean with bad scrungy buildup in the corners. After the first flush, the tank lid had to be removed and the float jiggled to refill the tank. Once an allergic reaction set in on me, we had to leave, i could not stop coughing. When we checked out 2 and a half hours later, we asked about a refund and were told by the desk clerk " oh, i dont do that, you have call them"
- Troy (2/5): - The bathtub was dirty and alot of dampness in front of the ac and around the bed.
- Judy (10/5): - First room no air conditioning.
Second room weak spots in floor.
- Nicole (6/5): - No latch on my room door
Smelly
- Kelcie (2/5): - It’s disgusting I was moved into 3different rooms 1 because the floor was caving in I had my 2 year old with me the other one mold, roaches, and there was no lights it’s ridiculous I’d rather pay the price I payed for 2 nights for 1 night at the true or something that was worth my money!
- Christine (2/5): No. No. No. No STAY AWAY! - This place is DISGUSTING! DO NOT STAY HERE! If we hadn't arrived so late with two little ones in tow, we would have turned around at a run. Where to start. I've never wanted to shower with my socks on before. Someone else's clothing in the drawers. Filthy bath towels, lights that wouldn't switch off in the bathroom. Filthy, filthy, Filthy....my husband slept in his clothes and I took the kids to a public restroom to wash across the street. The conviction felon with face tattoos bullied me for a $50 depot CASH ONLY when we got there. Sorry, but I didn't see that noted in the reservation info on the booking site. The guy was a creep. I brought the towels down to the desk at checkout to show the woman working and she looked completely disinterested....like...so? It's just another day here. I would argue for a refund but the $60 I paid for the room isn't worth the battle. You get what you pay for?...Sure, but I would expect at least a clean towel.
- Amy (6/5): - I wish I knew I needed $50.00 IN CASH for the deposit. You must have CASH for the deposit, you can’t use your card. Other than that I got exactly what I paid for.
- D7293BV (2/5): Horrendous safety and health violations - This place is used by hookers and drug dealers. What a joke—I am reporting for health and safety violations. Windows screwed shut, missing smoke detectors, sheet with no mattress pad and filthy mattress underneath. Room stunk and stains all over the floor and furniture. We spread our own blanket over the bed and slept for a few hours as we were so exhausted. They want a $50 cash deposit even if you have pre-paid for the room(yep, a hooker hotel). They have numerous signs made of paper with writing on pasted on the walls behind the front desk warning about all the rules they have—a complete joke. This place needs to be shut down for safety and health violations, and I will do anything in my power to try to make this happen. DO NOT STAY HERE. And I would suggest the manager who will read this review does not write some stupid response. Just look at the photo’s please!
- Jeff (4/5): Not so Good - TV remote wouldn't work Switched rooms Still didn't work. Dusty Gunk on the crown molding. Not even any Coffee in the Morning. A place to lay your head for a night and that's all
- Lakima (2/5): Horrific stay - The first room was damp the linens were damp. And it smelt like stale mildew. We were changed to another room and it was better but the floor felt like it was gonna cave in. Terrible experience
- Ricky (2/5): Terrible - This place smells and is very in need of repairs. Service was not good. Will never stay there again.
- Derrick (2/5): - Need my money back Now! And thanks
- Sheila (2/5): - Stains on the sheets.. door entry issues.. everything was falling apart..someone just walked into our room without notice.. the only thing good about this hotel was the friendly desk clerk.. not recommended at all
- Sabrina (6/5): - In a very modern world we live in, everything becoming digital, they require us to pay cash. I am a solo traveler woman, don’t carry cash because it is difficult to find places to withdraw money via Wise. They let me an hour set, desperately trying to contact Expedia to try to get my money back to find another accommodation or find a solution for that. After so long, the staff decided to help me! They were angels sent by God to help me. Then, when I could finally get into the room, because the key card didn’t work appropriately, there was a bed smoke small, even though the place is a non-smoking one. The room and the blanket were not exactly like shown in the picture. Hope this company changes its policy so that other travelers don’t have a hard time as I did!
- Ted (2/5): - This has to be one of the worst if not the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. It smells terrible, the room needs a total do over new vinyl flirting but it was just laid down and it feels like the sun floor is rotten. If I knew how to get out of the booking I would have left.
- Valentina (2/5): - terribly
- James (4/5): - ..
- Bennett (2/5): - I wish I could add pictures. Black mold growing on the top of the bathroom ceiling, open electrical outlets. I left within a hour of being there.
- Thanigaivelan (2/5): - I went with the family, I had a very bad experience with the stay in this hotel. I do not want to think about staying this hotel again.
- Stacey (2/5): - Not
- Verified traveler (2/5): No! Nope! Don’t! - A terrible horrible no good very bad hotel. We got to our rooms. First room floor was wet and slippery and the room hadn’t been cleaned. Second room ac wasn’t working, the carpeted floor was sopping wet, and the fire alarm had been covered with plastic and smelled of terrible cigarette smoke. We asked for other rooms and the next rooms- one had exposed wires and one had the fan covering laying in the floor with the exposed fan opened. We were not happy and decided we couldn’t stay and asked for our money back. They refused. They also required us to give a $50 cash deposit but they did give that back. I can’t explain how not okay this hotel was. Spend 15 more and go to the quality inn next door it will be very much worth it!!!!
- Scarlett (2/5): - Roaches everywhere
- Brigitte (6/5): - The property was older, the room had obviously been smoked in before. The staff was very friendly. And the bed was comfortable.
- viengthong (2/5): - Dirty
- Cathy (6/5): Nasty - The floors(carpet) was damp, sticky , and dirty had a feet and socks like we been in a swamp all day,..
The bed were a little hard , the rooms need updating , paint preling , ceiling and corners dusty, if it wasnt already afrer midnight i would if went somewhere else..
- Ronnie (8/5): Check all rules before booking - Hotel doesn’t allow any visitors whatsoever. Roaches all over the room. Everything has a damp feeling in the room including bed and pillows. Staff is very friendly but that doesn’t help the inconveniences. Here on business and has friends who don’t see often couldn’t even bring any over to watch Georgia game with me. Definitely won’t be staying here in future.
- Verified traveler (2/5): It needs to be chute down immediately - The Front Desk Clerk was very unpleasant, you can smell the Marijuana from a mile on them. The room was dirty, moldy, and rug looks like it were never cleaned! a trend of hair was in the Tub with 2 babies roaches walking inside of the Tub, the box spring bed wasn't a mattress, we felt like we were sleeping on the hard concrete floor.
The room was ridiculously un cleaned in every way you could think of.
How did the County close their eyes on this dirtiest so call Motel
