I mean I’m not gonna complain overall because I was just trying to lay my head while passing thru. The sheets were actually clean and had a limited breakfast with coffee. Cable tv worked and I saw some college football. had it not been full of permanent residence that were screaming in the other room or asking me to questions about where I was from and what I was doing then it would of been a little better. Staff was nice and I feel bad for the folks living there and the ones asking me about where I was and telling me their life story from and all seemed like good folks it was also kind of a hassle getting in and out as a regular visitor.

This property is an old motel that has been pleasantly updated with wood style laminate floors, new counter tops and sink and furniture. Very clean and A/C worked well on a warm and humid night. It's on the eastern edge of the old town, about 3.5 miles from the I-10 exit. Bed was newish and comfortable. You could do a lot worse for the price, so check it out. We left early so did not see the free breakfast that starts at 7am.

Broken non working blow dryer. A/C was cold tub was clean. We just stopped to get some sleep on our way to Daytona from east Texas. Not a place to stay for much more than a few hours of sleep. Price was worth it for that.

• Christopher (6/5): Exactly what you expect for $50 - The room was adequate. Bed was surprisingly comfortable once you look passed the stained sheets. It did make noise though. And we were just sleeping. Had to jiggle the toilet handle to keep it from running. Pretty sure I saw a Chupacabra but it turned out to just be a mangy lookin cat. All in all it was worth $50.00.
• Timothy (10/5): Life saver - I would like to say that anyone giving a negative review is most likely an uptight person in general. This place is awesome especially for the price. The gentleman at the front desk running it is extremely nice. And they keep everything very clean. Some of the furniture is a little worn. Only because of years of being in service. But overall one of the cleanest hotels i have ever stayed in. And i say life saver because of the price and how the owner was able to work with me on a price so far for an extended stay. since im staying there for work in the area. He is very fair and nice. Im still currently staying here. If it wasnt for this establishment id be living in the car. Id like to say thank you to them if they see this. You're awesome. For real thank you thank you. Bathroom = super clean Room = super clean Wifi works great I Havent seen one bug like some people complain about in reviews. Bed is clean and comfy. Some people say you get what you pay for. In this case, you get way more than you pay for. I literally cant find one reason to complain. And i am very happy with my stay.

• Wanda (2/5): - Location to Caverns great, 1st room they put us in heavy mold, they did switch us to another room, but rooms are out dated, beds very uncomfortable, pillows flat and hurt my neck, left there with a sever kinked neck and migraine, a german roach dead on bed and killed one crawling on floor, continental breakfast is cereal and honey buns, coffee and thats it, oh u make your own toast that u have to wait forever to make and u do get yogurt but even that eating facility they have trash bag to cover tables place has a funky smell, i didn't dare try the pool, i was grossed out but dealt with it cause already paid and made sure only went back late enough to sleep and really didn't get much sleep at all because was so uncomfortable and worried about someone breaking in door barely locked.

Then woke up and every single thing I owned was damp - like my clothes had not dried completely in the dryer. "Due to moisture in the air" funny how that didn't happen at any of the other hotels I stayed at on this trip... then the actual shower did not work, I had to take a bath, not pleasant. I complained to the guy at the front counter, who seemed completely unphased and acted like it completely didn't matter to him. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel. Find another one!!

The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because the room was musty and a bit damp. Overall, I had a nice 3 night stay.

The pool was not cleaned well , still had algae in areas. Very disappointing stay at hotel . It is nothing as described & the picture didn't reflect the room .Surrounding area great.

This made me aware that they care about their relationship & reputation for providing better service not just business profits.

• Verified traveler (2/5): NOPE and NOPE - We walk into the lobby where there was a sign because you have to call for assistance (it was not late). We check in and the room was "clean" but far from being updated. The mattress looked as if it had been used for 30 years (not even level). The light fixtures had rust on them and the tub was "clean" but the faucet was full of buildup. We checked out and left. I do not recommend this location.

The rooms are clean, though somewhat dated; it's clear that they need remodeling, as cleaning alone can't eliminate years of wear. There is a language barrier with the woman at the front desk, but she is efficient. The gentleman overseeing the hotel is knowledgeable and accommodating. The pool area is large and very clean, and adds to the stay's appeal. Additionally, the landscaping is well-maintained. My stay was quiet and pleasant, and the rates are very affordable.

• richard w (6/5): You get what you pay for - selected this hotel for an overnight stay as part of a longer trip based on the price and decent reviews. The rooms were very old and run down. didn't use the shower. there was a chair in the room so worn the stuffing was coming through, curtain not on the hooks, bed sagging in the middle. We were concerned about possible bed bugs but did not see any upon inspection and had no bites so this was a false alarm. On the positive note the room did not have any foul odor and was clean. Lousy pillows bed was tolerable at best, breakfast was a joke.. First room the tv didn't work but management moved us into another room we asked about first floor but he told us that cost more. not sure about that as the rooms all looked equal. All in all I was ok with this place but it needs improvements badly, my sister didnt like it at all, and I would probably look for a different hotel next time I pass through

We had to pull our beds out from the wall kill the spiders. The air was barely cooling so I went to check the vent and the dust was at least an inch thick you can tell these rooms do not get deep cleaned we couldn't even shower the bath tub had so much scum built up in it and was per disgusting. I had booked the room for 5 nights let say I checked out the very next morning. I also asked the owner who cleans his rooms for him and he stated a few guys up stairs for exchange for a free room. I was like wow.
• Darla (4/5): - While this property was offered at a great price, this was a case of you get what you pay for. We got two rooms. Between these two rooms: both sitting chairs had shredded fabric, the writing table were spray painted with odd markings on them, multiple light switches and lamps didn't work, poor water pressure, no sink stopper, one TV had cord unplugged and even after hotel staff came, you had to turn on the TV manually and then use remote, there was some weird narrated TV action that couldn't be removed (and we are pretty tech savvy) with remote given, etc. All kinda small things, but they add up. Also there was 2 cereals, white bread for toast with community butter (which doesn't seem sanitary to me), nothing hot except coffee.

• Joseph (4/5): - The sink and toilet were loose. There were bugs and roaches. The tv had a black line through it and didn’t work properly. The furniture was unstable. The room was definitely run down and in much need of repair. We didn’t get to check out their breakfast so can’t comment on that. The price was cheap and there weren’t any additional charges beside the deposit which was refunded. We only stayed 2 nights but next time we’re in the area will be booking elsewhere.
• PATRICK (8/5): Great price - Fine for the price. $25 extra for my dog still made it a great deal. Breakfast is very limited: cold cereal, toast, yogurt coffee w/ powdered creamer, honey bun & fruit
• Darryl (6/5): - It was an average place to stay. The desk clerk was friendly. We picked this place because of price and free breakfast. I would not recommend it because the free breakfast was pretty sad.
• Verified traveler (2/5): - Room was terrible. Light in bathroom didn’t work, tub faucet dripped, bed was very noisy because of metal frame, pillows were weird and uncomfortable. Very old & outdated room. Heater was loud. It was not a good stay, felt very uneasy.
