The beds were a little soft for my liking and there was no electric socket in the bathroom for the hairdryer, but everything else was fabulous .

I wouldn't complain about the bad view because the hotel is on a very busy street, but the blurred windows blocked all the sunlights.

Small, modern room, nicely designed with a roomy bathroom, had a coffee pod machine, bed was comfy, think it had a memory phone mattress, TV had all the platforms available. Quiet room but no view but that hardly mattered. Reasonable value, would stay there again. Appreciated getting an Email from Mrs Banks outlining all the parking options close by.

The beds are the best I have ever slept on in hotel accommodation. There is nothing I can say that I don't like about the hotel. We have been there about 5 times now and we will continue to go back.

Staff provided good tips for visiting the area. The hotel provided complimentary breakfast with coffee, tea pastries and fruit. Check in from 3pm is a bit too late. I needed o check in earlier and sent email and left message. No one responded. I took a chance and went earlier. I managed to check in 30 minutes before 3 pm, but would have like to check in earlier as we had to walk around Sydney with luggage and that was a bit uncomfortable. Anyhow regardless we had a great time.

Ainsley (9/5): A very comfortable hotel, in an excellent location allowing for easy public transport access to city - A lovely boutique hotel, in an excellent location. Busses run past to Bondi Junction and off to the city and Central railway, so it is very convenient if visiting without a car. In the snazzy part of Oxford Street, with great food options all within walking distance. I was visiting to go to the Horden Pavilion for a concert, and it was a 20 minute walk to/from, so again, an excellent location. Very comfy bed. A quite small room (we were in the smallest) but still comfortable. There is a great lounge out the front if you wanted to get a bit more space.

The coffee from the coffee machine is pretty poor quality to be honest. The milk frother wasn't working and the milk in the milk jug had gone off to the point it had solidified. The female reception person was less helpful, not unpleasant just not that interested in anyone coming into the facility.

Maddison (10/5): perfect!! - the room was gorgeous and the bed was so comfortable!! the staff was absolutely lovely, my partner and i got back from the BBNO$ concert a bit late and needed to find a servo and the staff member told us where it was, he also offered me a smoke cause i didnt have one and we ended up having a smoke outside together, overall awesome bloke. we had a mad chat about anything and everything at like 1am and it was overall an awesome stay. whoever was on on the night of the 2nd of november deserves a raise!!! will 100% be staying here again for events happening at the hordern pavilion, not a far walk (maybe 1km) absolutely easy to find and was so incredible and in a good area, not too much noise. absolutely nothing!

Jennifer (9/5): Comfortable stay in a stylish boutique hotel in the heart of Paddington - The location of Mrs Banks in the heart of Oxford Street was perfect. I could step out the front doors to shops nearby that had everything I needed. My room was comfortable, quiet and stylish. The bathroom was spacious and the choice of shower rose or on the wall shower was ideal. I love how they have maintained the history of it being a bank building in a previous life. Make sure to look up at the pressed metal ceilings in the lobby. Also in the lobby, is a small kitchen, in front are table and chairs where they offer a light breakfast in the mornings. That was a nice touch. The staff were exceptional too. I highly recommend Mrs Banks for location, style and comfort. Nothing.

Cosmopolitan (8/5): - Es ist kein Frühstück vorhanden wie beschrieben...diese Beschreibung ist irreführend.. sondern Kaffe, Tee, 2 od. 3 Früchte und wenn man früh genug auf ist dann gibt es noch ein Schokoladenbrioche..
like_national_parks (4/5): Great little boutique hotel, as long as you don't need wifi. - Charming and clean, convenient to public transportation and a nice but simple continental breakfast. We noticed as soon as we got to our room, wifi internet signal was very weak. So weak, in fact, that most of the time we could not connect at all. We took some measurements and shared them with hotel staff, both verbally and via email. They politely replied to our verbal and email notifications, but for the entire week they never did fix it. BTW, the signal strength in the lobby was fine (we had to go to the lobby in order to send them an email), which might be the reason they were somewhat lackadaisical about addressing the problem. It seems that the further you are from the lobby, the lower the signal. So, avoid room 105! See screenshots of wifi in the room (all below standard-red) and in the lobby (just fine)
Jürgen (8/5): Hübsches Boutique Hotel mit geräumigen Zimmern. - Paddington ist ein sehr schöner Stadtteil mit vielen kleinen historischen Häusern und Boutiquen. Das Hotel ist eine umgebaute, ehemalige Bank-Filiale, sehr schön gelöst mit geräumigen Zimmern und großen Bädern. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und professionell. Frühstückstip ist das Café Lil Garden schräg gegenüber in einer Einfahrt. Es gab keine Möglichkeit ein Fenster zu öffnen, es sind nur Glasbausteine verbaut. Die Toilettenbrille sollte einmal ausgetauscht werden. Obwohl alles immer sauber war, machte sie optisch einen unhygienischen Eindruck.
