GoingGift (10/5): A gem of Jordan - EVERYTHING! The owners greeted us themselves and they're super friendly and welcoming. They go by the concept 'make yourself at home' in which they've really offered that experience. Food was exceptionally tasty for both breakfast and dinner. We went there when during the Iranian war so there weren't too many tourists. The hotel gave us the choice to freely choose any rooms we wanted. Not too far from the hotel, you can already witness the majestic view of Dana Biosphere : ) Probably just the stains on the pillow case that are quite visible. Would be cool to keep only the stainless ones.
iamissue (10/5): - 제가 갔을때는 전쟁으로 인해 손님이 저 뿐이었어요. 그래서 여러 방들 중에서 제가 고를 수 있었습니다. 전망 좋은 방이었어요. 뷰가 아주 좋습니다. 뜨거운 물도 잘 나왔어요. 하이킹을 하지 않아도 차량으로 찍먹할 수 있는 포인트를 알려주셨어요. 직원들도 아주 친절하고 에너지가 넘쳤어요. 저녁은 현지식으로 차려주는데 아주 맛있어요. 현지식이 종류는 뭐 다 거기서 거기지만 제 입맛이랑 너무 잘 맞아서 싹싹 비웠습니다. 객실에서 와이파이가 어렵습니다. 워낙 고지대이고 바람이 많이 불어 다나 지역 자체가 와이파이가 잘 안된다고는 하더군요. 리셉션 앞에서는 그나마 연결이 되긴 해요.

They were so attentive and helped us figure out how to make the most of our time in Dana. We also loved learning about the history of this town and area from them!

We ordered lunch and it was clearly leftovers from dinner from the day before - all the food arrived cold including rice and meatballs… when we asked the lady to warm it up she said it was all made fresh and is hot. Wiesław (9/5): a place to relax and unwind - This is a unique place for those seeking peace, quiet, and nature, rather than comfort and cocktails with palm trees. The host is a wonderful guide and a great storyteller (not only about the place but also about the history of the region). It's worth escaping everyday life and/or getting tired of hiking in the mountains.

Fantastyczni właściciele, pełni energii którą zarażają. Pyszne śniadanie oraz kolacja. Polecam pokój Sunset Suite z pięknym widokiem Wszystko było super.

Wlodzimierz (10/5): Niesamowite miejsce, niesamowici właściciele i pracownicy, dzięki którym czuliśmy się jak w domu. - Niesamowity obiekt prowadzony przez niesamowitych ludzi. Cudowna, rodzinna atmosfera, czuliśmy się tam jak w domu. Hotel w sercu rezerwatu Dana, szlaki turystyczna na wyciągnięcie ręki. Bardzo dobre, domowe posiłki. Wieczorem muzyka na żywo, tańce i zabawa z właścicielami. Fantastyczny przewodnik Salm z którym spędziliśmy kilka godzin na szlaku pokazał nam okolicę i opowiedział historię tego miejsca oraz regionu. Organizowane wycieczki nawet kilkudniowe z pełną obsługą. Rewelacyjne miejsce, na pewno tam wrócimy

Mathilde (9/5): Foncez !! Je trouve que c’est encore plus beau en vrai qu’en photo - Tout était super ! Les hôtes super sympa. Ils m’ont surclassé dans un chambre super (qui devait avoir une belle vue mais malheureusement le temps n’était pas au rendez vous). Dînez et petit déjeuner très bons (la cuisinière était trop gentille) Ils ont également des propositions de trails (durée qu’on souhaite avec ou sans lunch etc) Le guide Salem était très sympa et drôle 😃 Petit + : pour les amoureux des animaux, il y en a pleins (et Soso c’est le prince haha) Je dirai juste la wifi qu’il n’y avait pas dans la chambre car elle est loin de l’office. Mais on s’en fiche vu qu’on vient ici pour se reconnecter à la nature ☺️

L'accueil de Salma et Salim était chaleureux. Nous avons aussi été accompagnés pour ûe balade en montagne le lendemain matin.
Cathy (10/5): Felt like family here :) - I can’t recommend this place enough—if I could give it ten stars, I would! Our room was spotless, the beds were very comfortable, and the location is perfect for exploring the surrounding area. Breakfast was delicious, with a wonderful variety of foods to choose from each morning. What really stood out was the staff: we were greeted so warmly from the moment we arrived, and everyone was genuinely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We truly felt like family and would absolutely stay here again.

Super Jordanian food, really great and njce breakfasts made by a kind Bangladeshi woman. Good Jordanian host who organised a guided walk for us. If you are sensitive to noise when sleeping you may be aware the local packs of dogs while not dangerous to humans are very noisy at night, particularly in the village, from 12 to 5am. Howling and fighting. Ear plugs help. The local experience!

Miałyśmy pokój ze śniadaniem, ale dokupiłysmy kolację za 8 jod. Było warto, pyszne. Klimat miejsca niepowtarzalny, niebo pełne gwiazd.

Die Unterkunft hat uns auch sehr unkompliziert zu einem fairen Preis einen Transport zum Ausgangspunkt unserer Wanderung organisiert. Abendessen war vielfältig und sehr lecker. Frühstück ebenso. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wären gerne noch länger geblieben.

Sven (10/5): Fantastisch! - Ein absolut außergewöhnliches Hotel mit einem unglaublichen Blick am Ortsrand von Dana. Alles ist sehr individuell gestaltet. Es gibt jede Menge gemütliche Sitzmöglichkeiten drinnen und draußen. Das Essen ist traditionell jordanisch, köstlich und vielfältig, auch für Vegetarier und Veganer gibt es genug Auswahl. Die Betreiber sind sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Menschen, am Abend gibt es sogar Livemusik. Im Angebot gibt es Wanderungen von 2 Stunden bis zu mehrtägigen Touren. Die Zimmer sind sauber und die Matratzen sind gut. Danke für 2 tolle Tage in Dana ! Nichts
Caroline (7/5): Typique et rustique, expérience à vivre - C'est un hôtel atypique dans un village retiré, très mignon et plein de recoins. Le personnel est prêt à aider et à nous faire découvrir la région. Le repas du soir est délicieux. Le personnel ma changé de chambre pour que je sois plus au calme à cause des voyageurs près de moi, ce qui était très apprécié. Le prix défie toute concurrence. Le Petit déjeuner est un peu limité et peu adapté aux habitudes occidentales. Le Wi-Fi n'est accessible que près du restaurant et pas dans les chambres. Certains équipements sont vétustes : l'eau sort des deux pommeaux de douche en même temps, le bouton de réglage ne tiens pas, la clinche de la porte de la salle de bain se décroche. Gros souci avec un des guides qui depuis mon départ, me harcèle sur whataspp, puis messenger après avoir été bloqué...

Anne-Sophie (9/5): Top pour une nuit! - Le personnel est très accueillant ! La chambre était très spacieuse, le confort idéal pour une nuit. Nous avons pu nous garer facilement en face de l'hôtel qui est bien placé au centre de la Biosphère de Dana. Je vous recommande Mohammed comme guide pour la visite de 3-4h avec repas compris, une superbe matinée :) La propreté des draps mériterait d'être plus approfondie et plus de choix pour le petit dejeuner.

Nina (9/5): Een echte aanrader - Erg leuke accommodatie met allemaal hoekjes en verschillende soorten kamers. Prachtig uitzicht over de vallei en goede locatie in het oude dorpje. Heel aardig en behulpzaam personeel. Veel blaffende honden snachts maar daar kan de accommodatie niks aan doen

Great views and easy to organise activities in Dana Reserve through them. I suggest you contact Hamez before arriving to help you organise everything in the days before. Simple rooms in a rustic village, you will feel at home with family - it was really a highlight of my time in Jordan, I’d highly recommend!!
João (10/5): Great rooms and food and extremely helpful owner - Dana Tower Hotel is a fantastic place to stay in Dana and Hazem, the owner, is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. 1 - They arranged us a guide for a 4-day Trek to Petra just a few days before the start of the trek, During the trek, Hazem remained available by phone to help us with anything we needed. 2 - Due to the situation in the region there were just a few other tourists at the hotel. So, Hazem gave us a free room upgrade to a huge room with amazing views. 3 - After the trek, when we went to collect our rental car back in Dana, one of the tyres was completely flat. Hazem helped us change the tyre and drove us to a local garage where they fixed the flat tyre in 5 minutes for just a few JOD, probably saving us a lot of money in fees at the Rental Car company. Highly recommended!

Sophie (8/5): Fantastic host. - The host was just fantastic from start to finish - easy communications, very hospitable, friendly and professional. He even made us a packed lunch each morning before we went out to Petra with fresh falafel wraps! The room was very clean, nice little kitchenette and lovely balcony. Would love a slightly stronger shower, but other than that the bathroom was very clean and a good size. Thank you!

Cinzia (10/5): - Avevamo prenotato due stanze doppie. Il proprietario ci ha mostrato tre soluzioni e ci ha fatto scegliere quella che preferivamo senza pagare la differenza. Tutto il personale è disponibile e accogliente. Alla sera a cena il proprietario è suo cugino intrattengono gli ospiti con canti e musica. Ambiente familiare molto simpatico. La struttura, poi, è molto particolare, costruita su più livelli e con varie terrazze con sedili colorati di stoffe tipiche per sedersi tutti insieme.

Buen desayuno y cena divertida con baile entre los clientes y el personal del hotel. Además nos comentaron que era un hotel que los beneficios se destinaban al apoyo de las personas necesitadas del pueblo. Todo bien
Jiri (9/5): Beautiful room in a great village hotel - Our room in an old stone house was beautifully restored, I liked the design. The whole hotel is great place, my son loved to roam around on the staircases and terraces overlooking various parts of the village and the property. I liked how we were welcomed by the owner. I liked that we received very practical recommendations on hiking in the are. I liked the food at the hotel. I liked how the owner gather all the guests after dinner to play traditional music and share information about the history of the village and hotel. Momorable stay, would love to come back again. Nothing, everything was perfect.

Kitty Pinkers (10/5): - Warme welkom, heerlijk eten, upgrade van de kamer, de gezellige inrichting en hoe sfeervol alles is gemaakt. Aardig personeel. We hebben helaas wel slechter geslapen door de muggen en de volgende ochtend vertelden ze pas dat er een apparaat op de kamer was tegen de muggen.

Desi (7/5): Fijne locatie in het oude dorp! - Het oude dorp Dana is verlaten maar enkele gebouwen zijn omgebouwd tot hotel, restaurant of klein winkeltje. Dit hotel was ook ooit een huis van de familie die het nu runt. Je kan in de avond van het buffet meeeten, het eten is van erg goede kwaliteit en goed van smaak (ik ben niet zo’n buffetliefhebber). Special thanks to Jane en Selma! Er zijn veel lage doorgangen en die worden niet goed aangegeven. De douche had een vervelende rioollucht.

Reinhold (10/5): - Personal und Eigentümer sorgten ständig für eine herzliche familiäre Atmosphäre und waren äußerst hilfsbereit. Alles wird bestens gereinigt und ist sehr sauber. Frühstück und auf Wunsch Abendessen werden als vielseitiges und reichhaltiges Buffet angeboten, alles frisch und sehr gut zubereitet. Dana selbst ist ein verlassenenes und zerfallenes Dorf, in dem aber mit viel Einsatz aus Ruinen neue kleine Hotels entstehen. Im Dana Tower Hotel wurden viele hübsche Ecken und Sitzmöglichkeiten geschaffen, und man fühlt sich an jeder Stelle wohl. Für Wandertouren kann der Besitzer jeden Rat und Unterstützung geben, und am Abend kann er sogar mit Liedern unterhalten.
