• Livio (10/5): Very convenient location, you can always find parking. - Nice two-room apartment, recently renovated, on the ground floor, convenient for those with strollers and/or wheelchairs in tow. Furthermore, although very close to the seafront full of clubs, it is in a really quiet location, far from the noise and there is always a place for the car.
• charlotte (4/5): Location bien, mais confort modeste. - La location proche du centre et bord de mer Deux sur les trois chambres proposées sont viellottes, sombres et bruyantes, situées au RDC. Dans la partie rénovée, à l'étage, il n'y a pas de chambre, le lit double et le canapé lit sont dans le salon, donc pas d'intimité possible. La literie n'est pas bonne. Nous n'y sommes restés que 2 nuits, mais c'était le pire logement de notre séjour et le plus cher. Je déconseille.

No ventilation in bathroom which leads to issues with dampness and mold on the shower. We stayed at ground floor apartment on other side of the building from main entrance

• Andreea (7/5): A bit pricey for the what it offered, but nice appartment. - It was really close to the sea and it has an interesting interior design. We didn’t have hot water the first night and next morning(the solar panels didn’t heat the water enough).

Pobyt w obiekcie byl wspanialy. Wyrzucanie zuzytego papieru toaletowego do kosza. Problem ze skontaktowaniem sie z obiektem po powrocie.
• Barbara (10/5): - The house rooms were very comfortable and well equipped. A lovely and traditional place near the seaside. A good place to start walks in the evening or to go shopping or dining in the city center. We would come again.

There is a baggage hold option which is helpful if you’re island hopping. The host was accommodating, friendly, and helpful. She was responsive via WhatsApp to any questions we had. If I returned to Chania I would stay here again and would recommend this option to others as well!
• Stavroula (9/5): - Ήταν πολύ καλά εξοπλισμένο, άνετο και κεντρικό. Είναι στο ισόγειο και δεν μπορείς εύκολα να ανοίξεις παράθυρο χωρις να έχεις οπτική επαφή με τον δρόμο -αλλαγή κουρτινών θα βοηθούσε.
• Marie Claire (8/5): Perfect, amazing, I want to go again - The location was amazing and you have all the amenities you need close by The top neighbours were quite noisy and sometimes was difficult to get to sleep. After asking them to calm down, everything was fine.
• Paolo (9/5): - La posizione è fantastica non nel centro storico ma a pochi metri dal mare dove si può fare un tuffo in una acqua cristallina e vicinissimo al tutti i ristoranti del lungomare. 10 minuti e si arriva nel centro storico. Ma il.grande plus della struttura è che chi è con la macchina può caricare e scaricare davanti la struttura e volendo se i giorni sono festivi la sciare l'auto sotto casa diversamente c'è 7n parcheggio al momento gratuito a 5 minuti a piedi. La casa è molto spaziosa ben organizzata e ristrutturata con gusto unico neo il bagno piccolo rispetto al resto e con cabina doccia da rivedere.
• MARÍA JOSEFA (9/5): - La decoración tipo industrial. Tenía cápsulas de café para por lo menos, la mañana siguiente. Muy cerca de la playa, zona de restaurantes... Al reservar con el filtro "párking" aparecía dicho alojamiento. No lo tiene, hay que aparcar en la calle y un día que llegamos después de las 20:00 fue imposible encontrar un sitio. Más de 20 minutos para encontrar un hueco .a 10 minutos del alojamiento.

• Maria-christina (10/5): Pleasant and comfortable. Ideal location! - The house is located in Koum Kapi, a neighbourhood adjacent to the city of Chania. We spent 3 days/2 nights and walked to the city every time. It was a pleasant 10-minute walk and an opportunity to see the surrounding areas. The house is modern, comfortable, has all amenities and street parking. It is just a few metres away from Koum Kapi beach so you can swim in the area even if you don't have a car. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and easy to reach. Overall, we will gladly stay at Evans House next time we are in Chania. There is nothing that we didn't like.

• Luisa (9/5): Fab base to explore Chania - Evans House is located in the Koum Kapi area which is about a 10-15 minute walk into the main hustle and bustle of Chania and its historic and tourist-draw historic old town. There is a mini market a few minutes walk from the apartment as well as a bakery next door to the mini market. The bus from the airport can drop you off at the Stadium bus stop which is about a 3-4 minute walk away. The sea front with tons of cute restaurants and cafes is barely a minute's stroll from Evans House. This is a quiet residential area and I felt very safe walking back to the apartment at night with my children. The apartment has outside lights that illuminate the building after dark which is a very nice touch. We (family of 3) stayed in the apartment upstairs which is laid out in an open plan style. It had high vaulted ceilings, stone walls and everything we needed for a comfortable stay including great air conditioning (it was blisteringly hot during our July stay). We didn't wind up cooking so can't comment on the stove etc but having a washing machine was incredibly useful and there was a large clothes horse provided for us to hang up washing on the terrace. The terrace itself was gorgeous and I loved and appreciated all the beautiful plants that the hosts had placed around the terrace. It was very peaceful and relaxing to sit out there among the plants whilst enjoying a cup of coffee (there were three different types of coffee makers provided as well). There were also lovely olive themed toiletries (shower gel, soap, shampoo and body lotion) provided in the bathroom. The only minor suggestion I would make for the hosts is to perhaps install a few more hooks or an extra towel rail in the bathroom. I had kept the host informed of my arrival including messaging about my flight delay and also sent an update when I landed in Chania but when I went to the apartment there wasn't anyone there to meet me and I had to send texts and tried calling the host a few times which went unanswered. It was a bit stressful but Dani the host showed up after 15 minutes and all was well. Even with this hiccup, it didn't mar my stay and I would still recommend it if you're after a beautiful, well equipped and comfortable apartment in the area.

We thought we’d be on the 1st floor but we were in fact put into an apartment in a st behind the st that is advertised on www and the studio was below street level. Studio was unfinished looking & in a grungy looking st. Not so comfortable although the bed was comfortable. They need to have instructions in English on how to use cook top. We couldn’t get it going & to stay on. Asked for assistance & they quickly came to help & after quite some time, they got it to work, but didn’t know how they managed it and couldn’t describe how they did it. 😊
• Tamar (9/5): Superb - the location was great. few minutes walking from metro station and from train station (train from the airport)'. many restaurants around the apartment. supermarket in the corner. the neighborhood felt safe to us. the hostess was available and helps us with everything we needed. the sofa was not so comfortable for sleeping.
• Simon (10/5): Restful, well positioned and historic comfort - A beautiful restoration of an old building. It has great space with a couch and table in a separate room. We were in a ground floor apartment at the non parking side of the building, it was quietly residential. The area is perfect for a stroll into the walled old Chania with lots of restaurants along the water only about 100 m from the property. There are some small zany beaches there too. A great stay in a tasteful well positioned property with very helpful and accessible owners. Nothing to like

• Łukasz (4/5): Disappointing - Location just a short walk from the city center. We stayed in the ground floor apartment. It felt a bit compact and dark, making it feel somewhat confined. The single bed was very small and didn't offer much comfort.

• S (10/5): Great place to stay - We used Evans House as a quick overnight stop before travelling on to our holiday villa the next day. In spite of our late arrival, our host was happy to come and open up the property for us. The facilities were great, very modern and smart. If you're a family of four, then the sleeping arrangements may be tricky (two doubles in the same room), but if you're flexible, it's not really an issue. Take not of the phone number in your confirmation email to enable quick contact.

The apartment had all the necessary equipment, including washing machine, everything looks new, modern. Functional air conditioning. For our purpose - 2 nights in Chania ideal. The ground floor apartment is darker, which might bother some for a long stay, however at least it wasn't that hot inside.

• Giacomo (9/5): A great place to stay in Chania - Evans House is a beautiful little gem in the strategic Koum Kapi district; it's within walking distance to Splantzia and the city centre, and in a quiet side street - perfect even in August. The staff was great: they made us feel welcome and communication with them was fast and easy. We booked the studio with veranda; it's fully equipped and stylish, we really loved it.

Lit confortable, belle salle de bain avec nombreux produits, cuisine impeccable et bien équipée. Situé dans une petite rue calme à 50m de la mer, et proche du centre. Par contre, l'annonce mélange les 3 appartements de la propriétaire qui se trouvent dans 3 rues différentes et s'appellent tous evans house : le nôtre était rue athinon et situé sur un rez de chaussée.

Enhances architectural features, provides all modern amenities. We loved it. Spotlessly clean, comfortable for relaxation and convenient for all amenities in Chania. One minute to the coast/beach, a 5 minute stroll to town. This is one of the best apartments we’ve ever stayed in and we’ve stayed in many over the years.
