- Alexis (2/5): No tell, motel type of motel - The motel was more by the hour than by the day. Very run down very unkept. Walls needed proper repair showers needed proper repair.
- 450eds (2/5): Extremely Rude Service - We were going to Minneapolis, Kansas to see family and had a change in our plans. We booked through Priceline. When I called in to see if I might be able to cancel our reservation, the clerk said, "You booked through Priceline. You didn't call me. You have no concern for me; I have no concern for you." Our family has stayed here dozens of times over years-- never again.

It's a family owned hotel, older building, very vintage, nothing fancy but the rooms and sheets were clean and comfy and that is truly all we needed. All necessary amenities provided. The price was excellent. Minneapolis, KS felt like a quiet small farm town community and very safe.

My employees went to check in and the lady(owner) wouldn’t let them check in because she said the rate that Expedia charged me wasn’t correct and she refuses to give rooms to me for that price. She was screaming at me. I asked her if I could pay the difference as there are no other properties in the town and she said no that she didn’t have any rooms. She hung up on me twice, very rude and wouldn’t even let me talk. I had to end up calling Expedia to get refund and booking rooms in Salina for my employees. Will never even attempt to stay at this property again.

- Stephen (6/5): - The lock on the door worked fine. The coffee maker work3d fine. The bed held us up no matter how hard we worked it over. She enjoyed the extra pillow under her. The bed is just the right height to stand beside. The walls must have great insulation as we got no noise complaints.
- 3DQ (6/5): OK as a last choice - The Rock City Motel in Minneapolis, Kansas will do in a pinch. It is old and hasn't been updated since the 1960s I'd imagine. There is a punch-style desk phone, a chain lock, barely adequate window coverings and everything is orange. The pillows are like rocks and I could swear the sheets had been slept in. The walls were thin enough that we could hear the noisy outbursts and thuds against the wall. The BEST thing: good mattresses which led to an almost decent night's sleep. We had business in Minneapolis and the motels in neighboring towns were full for a holiday weekend. So, we gritted out teeth and went to sleep.

- John (6/5): Marginal Value - It was a good price and reasonably clean. The room was hot when I arrived. The A/C was noisy and was not cooling the room. I talked with the manager. She said I did not set it correctly. She said to set it to 61 to get it to cool to 75. It still did not cool properly. The A/C outside drain was plugged, so the air inside was musty. Also, the light over the bed was not working. I did leave a message with the tip for the cleaning person.

We both found hairs and lint in our shhets the first night. The next afternoon the manager accused me of being dishonest because we used both beds in the room she gave us. - Jared (4/5): When you're about the only game in town... - The room smelled very clean, but like college dorm bathroom clean... As in, one smelled lots of bleach that may be covering up something gross. From there, there were many flies in the room. The beds were far from new. The shower did not drain. The AC did not work properly unless it was set to freezing. I've stayed in worse places, and I might have to stay here again. But this is one of two hotels in a very small town, so it is what it is.

- Maria (4/5): Just don’t - This is an old run down motel. The desk lady came out on dirty clothes and asked “What do you want” in a rude manner. The parking lot has old ice cream trucks in disrepair. There is a dilapidated school desk outside each door for seating and the one next to our room had a deep fryer sitting on it like someone lived there?!!! Overall a creepy experience I won’t book again!

- ddw123 (8/5): Very Clean and a Nice Stay Motel - Just finished a 4 night stay at this facility. From check-in to check-out it was nice. Rooms are clean and from what I took from them is that they pride themselves on having a clean room. I don't know the size of the Flat Screen TV but it was larger than most motels that I stay in. Had in-room coffee maker and a bigger fridge than most motels I stay in. I'm sure the front office had irons and ironing boards but those aren't in the room. Overall I was very pleased with my stay this week at that facility. Golf course across the street. Pizza Hut within a block. Dollar General and Liquor store between Pizza Hut and motel.
