- Rohan (8/5): Very happy with our stay and we would def visit again. - The beach is excellent and right on the doorstep, breakfast is plentiful and tasty. The room was large and we had plenty of space for surfboards and bags with a great view from our balcony. The WiFi was poor and often didn’t really work.

Breakfast is passable staff are friendly. It’s cheap for beachside Road noise and bad wet rooms

- Joseph William (9/5): Very nice comfortable stay. From the hotel we went whale and dolphin watching. Saw a sea turtle, Fin Whale and look clos - The property was very convenient and staff was super nice. We stayed on the top floor and had very restful days. When we relaxed on the varanda we could sit and watch all the surfing. Many restaurants including a vegetarian restaurant (buffet all you can eat) nearby. Thank you!

- NIKA (10/5): - I truly enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is right on the beach, which made every day feel relaxing and special. The breakfast was tasty and had everything I needed to start the morning well. The staff were extremely kind, always smiling and ready to help with anything. I especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the evening, listening to the sound of the waves. It’s also an amazing spot for surfing, great for both beginners and more experienced surfers. I will definitely come back, and I happily recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxed beach stay. 🌊✨ The Wi-Fi didn’t really work, but honestly, with so much happening around i barely even noticed it.

- Michael (9/5): Perfect place to relax and enjoy surfing in Kabalana - I had a great stay at Tharanga Surfing Villa. The location is perfect if you’re looking to relax by the sea and surf some waves in the area. It’s just a short walk through the garden to Kabalana Beach and surfspot “The Rock”, which makes it ideal for both beginners and experienced surfers. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful — exactly what you want when staying close to the ocean. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, always making sure you feel welcome and comfortable. A great place for anyone who wants simple, relaxed beach living with easy access to amazing surf. I would definitely come back!

- Johannes P (5/5): Ideal für Surfer. - Lage wirklich direkt am Strand, aus dem Garten wenige Stufen und du bist am Strand. Ganz feiner pulvriger Sand. Im Garten eine Dusche, toll. Garten mit Liegen und Auflagen. Liegen direkt am Strand: kostenpflichtig, 1000 Rupien pro Tag. Eigentlich eine Domäne für Surfer, zum Baden weniger geeignet, wegen der Wellen. Zimmer nicht so toll. Kostenlose Pflegeprodukte, laut booking.com: ein Stückchen Seife. Leider streikte das warme Wasser der Dusche, was das Personal eher weniger interessierte.

When I could come back I could stay two nights in my room then I had to switch room because another guest got my room. So in 7 days I stayed 2 nights in my booked room..
- Priyantha (8/5): This area is good for surfing from October - I stayed there two nights with my family. Second day I invited my friends to stay over night & have a party together. It was unforgettable. This time sea was so rough so we could not enjoy with sea or have any beach parties. But from October sea is calm & I recommend any group of up to 15 can enjoy well.

- christina (8/5): Had a great time! - The staff was super friendly and helped us whenever they could! A big plus of this hotel is the sea front with direct access to a perfect beach. We didn't think direct access to the beach was that important for us but now we wouldn't want to go without it. The food was also great here including breakfast and dinner (the latter if you preorder). Some of the rooms are a little nicer and maybe cleaner than others, so I would recommend to pay a bit extra for a higher priced sea view room. Definitely recommended.
